8 year old Shion sat on the bench by himself, admiring the beautiful view of the nature in front of him. He picked up his bag. He grabbed his favorite book and began to read.

       Shion was lonely and had no close friends. He had Kary but she left somewhere else due to her parents. He also had Haruhi, but she only visited him two days a month. Shion flipped to the next page of his book. Nobody was in the park except for him and a family eating on a picnic table. Shion didn't envy them, he thinks that being alone was perfect for him. At the time Shion's parents didn't have time at all to talk or play with Shion. A boy who was the same age as Shion, and was the son of the family that was there in the park, walked towards him.

        "Hi! I'm Yuki Suzuki, you look lonely. Do you want be friends?" Shion hesitated as he looked at the boy.

"S-sure," Shion smiled. "I'm Shion Aru, nice too meet you, Yuki." Shion took out his hand. Yuki smiled and shook Shion's hand. They both sat together on the bench and were talking about random stuff. They both were glad they made a new friend.

         Since it was summer vacation, they visited frequently. Shion decided to walk by himself to the park. On the other hand, Yuki was worried because he couldn't find Shion. The last place Yuki thought Shion would be, was in the park. Shion was about to sit on the bench when suddenly Yuki ran as fast as he could to reach Shion. He was running so fast that he didn't know how to stop himself, so he hugged Shion almost making them both fall. Yuki released Shion and shook his shoulders so languidly.

         "Hey! Why didn't you invite me?!"

"Sorry, Yuki." Shion smiled at him while Yuki stopped shaking him.

"It's fine, but next time remind me, okay?" 

"Okay!"

                                                 *Six years later*

           "You forgot to tell me, again?!" Yuki playfully punched Shion on the shoulder.

"Sorry I forgot," Shion smiled. "again." They both reached the bench where they first met and sat there. "So, are you ready for the test?"

"Obviously not!!" He grimaced.

"Oh right, you still have that F on your Math grade." Shion laughed.

"Yep! So, I need your help." Yuki smashed his Math Book onto Shion's lap. Shion sighed then smiled. They spent every second studying. It was already dark outside and they still kept studying. After some minutes Yuki stood up and yelled,

"Yes! I now get it!" Shion was sleeping throughout the whole talk from Yuki of how proud he was. Yuki looked over to Shion to see that he was sleeping. Yuki sat down and glared at a tree. Wow. He thought. Yuki shook Shion lightly. Shion slowly opened his eyes.

"What?"

"I finally understand math!" Yuki hugged Shion and said, "Thank you!"

The next day, Shion and Yuki arrived to school and entered to their first class. Yuki was so excited for the test. Shion, as usual, wasn't.

"Class, we will do the math test tomorrow. I'm sorry but I wasn't notified that a new student entered this school." The whole class were cheering that the test was not that day. A boy entered the room. He had short brown hair and hazel eyes. Mrs. Hernandez spoke again,

"His name is Brian Gonzalez." 'Brian' smiled at each of us and said,

"Nice too meet you all, hopefully I can be friends with some of you." Brian looked around again and had his eyes glued to Shion's. Brian smiled at Shion.

           Shion noticed and looked away to face the window. Yuki also seemed to notice and rolled his eyes.

"Brian, you can sit next to the empty seat next Shion. Shion please raise your hand." Shion did. Yuki facepalmed himself. Brian reached his desk and sat down next to Shion. Brian looked at Shion and asked,

"Can I be your friend?" Yuki, who was sitting behind a row from Shion snickered. Is he that desperate? He thought.

Shion shrugged. "Maybe." Brian smiled.

"Okay, tell me later."

When class was over, Yuki smacked Shion on the head.

"Ow." Shion flinched. "What was that for?"

"For not saying, 'Of course!' to Brian!"

"I'm sorry." Shion sighed. "Fine. We can be friends with Brian."

"Yippee!"

Everyone gathered in the cafeteria to eat their lunch. As usual, Shion and Yuki were far away.

"Where is he?" Yuki scanned the whole cafeteria.

"Do we have to be friends with him, he seems like a troublemaker." Yuki rolled his eyes.

"It would be awesome if he can be our friend. Also, stop being a scanny scan person."

"'Scanny scan?'" Shion asked.

"Yeah! You always have your fir-" He stopped mid-sentence when he spotted Brian. "Brian!" Shion smashed his face onto the table. Brian turned around and saw Yuki then Shion. He was walking towards them.

"Hi Shion." Brian said. Shion looked up and forced a smile. Brian looked at Yuki. "What's your name?"

"Yuki." Yuki took a bite from his taco. "Want to be friends?" Brian nodded happily.

A few days passes, and the three best friends were in Yuki's house.

"You live alone?" Brian asked.

"Actually, my mom and I live here. Since my dad died, we were low on money. So, she had to get a somewhat full-time job."

"Sorry...for asking..."

"It's okay. I would've told you sooner or later."

"Hey, Shion do you have a crush on someone?" Brian nudged Shion. Shion blushed a bit.

"No." Brian raised an eyebrow.

"You sure?" Yuki asked. Shion blushed deeper, but nodded slowly.

"Maybe you have a crush on me." Yuki laughed. Shion knew it was a joke, but it was true. Fortunately, Yuki also had a crush on Shion, but so did Brian. A phone ringed and it was from Brian. He looked at his phone.

"Shoot. My mom wants me to go home right away." Brian smiled at Shion and left saying goodbye. Awkward silence came, Shion awkwardly stood up and laid on the shiny black couch. Yuki did the same...only on the other couch. Perfect. I think I can confess to him today? Yuki thought. Yuki already sensed that Brian liked Shion. He might get to kiss Shion that day.

"Hey, Shion?"

"Hm?" Shion stares at the TV.

"Shion~"

"What?" Shion still wasn't getting his eyes of the TV. After the comment that Yuki said, embarrassed him too much to not stand looking at Yuki.

"Shion." Yuki whined.

"What Yuki!" Still avoiding eye contact he stood up and began to walk towards the kitchen. Yuki gave up. He grabbed Shion's shoulders and pinned him onto the couch.

"Shion. Why are you avoiding eye contact with me?!" Shion widened his eyes. He never seen Yuki like this before.

"I-I wasn't..."

"Yes, you were." Shion was speechless, he didn't know what else to say. Shion was about to burst in tears but was stopped by Yuki. Yuki hugged Shion and said,

"I'm sorry, Shion." Shion hugged back.

"What were you going to say?"

"That I have a crush on you."

"W-what?" Yuki put his lips onto Shion's lips. It was a short kiss, although it felt like it lasted for minutes.

"I love you Shion."

"I-I love you too."

They both hugged again.

The next day, Yuki and Shion hid their relationship. Brian knew they were hiding something. Eventually, Brian did find out. He was melancholy. He had loved Shion.

Stupid love! He thought.

A few months passed. Since it was already summer vacation, the three of them decided to go buy some ice cream. Outside of Brian's house, there was an ice cream store across the street. They all walked safely to the Ice cream store.

"You guys wait here, okay?"

"Okay!" Brian and Shion answered simultaneously.

Yuki returned with the three ice creams. Yuki handed Brian a vanilla flavored ice cream, and handed Shion a mango flavored ice cream. They were all ready to cross the street when suddenly a red sports car with very rapid speed was coming towards them. Yuki and Shion didn't notice, but Brian did. He couldn't pull both of them away. Brian pulled Yuki away as fast as he can, but was too late to reach Shion.

"Shion!" Yuki screamed. The people who were in the store and the bystanders who were outside were panicking and screaming. Yuki crawled towards Shion's body.

"S-Shion! I'm sorry, please...live." Yuki pleaded, he was trembling as tears poured out of his eyes.

Yuki and Brian were waiting to hear any good or bad news. Brian was playing games on his phone, in other words he didn't seem to care.

The doctor finally arrived. "Friends od Shion Aru?" He asked looking around.

"Here!" Brian exclaimed, not looking away from his phone. They arrived so fast to the hospital that they forgot to call Shion's parents. Yuki, who sat beside Brian was paying attention to the doctor.

"Which first, good or bad?"

Shion woke up, he felt weird. A nurse opened the door.

"W-what happened?" Shion asked. The nurse smiled sadly.

"You may not believe me, but in small and simpler words. Some of the memories you had has vanished." The nurse touched Shion's hair. "It's a miracle you survived."

"Do I regain my memories?" Shion asked avoiding the nurse's last sentence.

"Well in the next few more weeks, you'll still not remember what happened today and those other weeks." She smiled. "Don't worry, if someone reminds you hard enough, I think you can remember what happened to you." She stood up and left. At that moment Shion didn't feel any emotion except the calmness in him. A few minutes passed and Brian entered the room.

"Hey, do you remember me?"

"Yeah, well I only remember the day we met."

"How do you feel?"

"Calm."

"That's what the doctor told us."

"Us?"

"Yeah, remember Yuki?" Shion shook his head.

"Who's he?" Shion asked. Brian smiled and said,

"You don't remember him?"

"Nope, although the nurse did say that I lost some of my memory. So, could you remind me?"

"Sure! I am your childhood friend and-"

"Oh, you are?"

"Something wrong with that?"

"No."

"Anyways Yuki is the friend we just made a few moths ago. Do you remember now?"

"Meh." Shion shrugged. Brian laughed and leaned in to kiss Shion on the lips. Shion didn't hesitate nor got into the kiss.

"Where's Yuki?" Shion asked.

"He'll be here. He's coming to apologize. "

"Okay." Brian leaned in to kiss Shion again on the lips. While that was happening Yuki opened the door.

"Hey, Shion are you-" Yuki's smile dissolves and was just staring in disbelief. Yuki walks toward Brian and slapped him.

"Calm down." Brian said and smiled. Brian hugged Yuki and whispered low enough so that Yuki would hear, but not Shion. "Sorry. Not."

Yuki pushed Brian away and asked,

"Shion, do you remember me?"

"Well, Brian told me that you are my friend that we just made a few months ago." Yuki turned around to face Brian and asked,

"'Few months ago?'" Brian nodded.

"Remember, betrayer?"

"W-what?!"

"You are one."

"No i'm not!"

"Stop." Shion demanded. They both stopped.

Shion was fast asleep, leaving Yuki and Brian in a quiet argument.

"You liar," Yuki whispered. "how dare you mess with Shion's mind!"

"Dude, you know I love Shion right? Coming to think of it, I doubt Shion will love you again." Brian smiled. "What's the point now. Go away."

Yuki and his parents was going somewhere far away from where they lived before. Yuki knew that he would meet Shion again and possibly Brian too.
