NOTE!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH! THIS STORY CURRENTLY HAS 236 READS! OMIGOSH!

The ambulance sped away from the alley. Me and the paramedics made small talk. Ha, funny that even in this kind of situation, with someones life on the line, people have the need to be social. I enjoyed it though. They were calm, and that made me feel calm too.

SWERVE

Oh yeah. We are in an ambulance, taking Spencer to the hospital. Tears again filled my eyes, finally now feeling the post-traumatic stress, and self critic of why I "Should" have been better to him. I should have protected him. But I wasn't. I felt horrible.

"Pull Over" I said.

"I'm sorry, we cant" said the paramedic in glasses.

He looked into my eyes, suddenly understanding what I was asking.

He handed me a bag, and I immediately emptied the contents of my stomach into it. He slid from his side of the bench over to me and awkwardly put his arm around me. Not much space in an ambulance. He patted my back, and told me it would be OK. This must be a regular thing, because he knew exactly what to do to make me feel better.

He went over to a cabinet, and handed me a piece of bread and a bottle of purple Gatorade.

"Eat and drink that slowly. It will help to calm your stomach."

I obeyed. I suddenly felt aches and pains. What was this kid doing to me? I knew I kinda liked him, But seeing him like this... I am terrified beyond words. He is seriously messing with me.

I try to keep my eyes open, but I was emotionally and physically spent. I tried to stay awake, but there comes a certain point where you cant stop your eyes from falling. So I grabbed Spencer hand, intertwined our fingers, to make sure he wasn't going anywhere without me.

...

I was awaken by the sound of car doors opening. When my eyes painfully adjusted to the sudden light. I saw them wheeling Spencer out of the ambulance. I stood up, stretched, and helped them put Spencer on the ground. Somehow, it made me feel safe knowing that if they dropped him, I would be there to make sure he didn't fall.

We hurried through the gigantic revolving doors, and into the ER lobby. When we got to security, I started to panic. I didn't want to leave Spencer, but I didn't want to get in trouble with identity fraud by saying he is my brother. Ultimately, I didn't want him to get hurt. So when we came to the security check, I slowly let go of the side of his gurney.

"Its okay. You can see him once he gets into his room. It will only be a couple minutes. " said the paramedic with glasses. He knows exactly what to say to make me feel better.

As soon as Spencer was gone, I began to pace. I knew that I wouldn't be able to sleep without him by my side.

I couldn't believe this happened. This morning I was so normal. What did I do to get here? What a hell of a day. I looked at a clock; 9:00 PM. Wow. How long were we at my house? When I'm with him, I feel like time flew away from me. I was so scared. I sat down on the floor, with my back against the wall and cried.

So I just realized a major author error. I did not mean for all of this to happen in one day. I just went back and added some changes. I forgot to freaking add nights! What is this? No, this is not intended to be a story of love at first sight. I am so sorry. I will get better! This is my practice book after all. Tell me what you think of the story, and what you didn't. I would love to get better, and write what the people want to hear. As always, Vote, comment, message, and RECOMMEND to your friends. Love you guys so much!
