Story plot: Mingi and Hongjoong felt quite confident that they would be able to be themselves once they were in Australia. But it's the same all around the world, no matter how accepting a country may seem, there will always be hate. As they make their way to accomplish Mingi's mission, something happens.

Hongjoong and Mingi are preparing to go out for Mingi's challenge. Hongjoong smiles as he looks at his boyfriend. "What?" "Nothing, you're just so beautiful." Mingi blushes slightly and chuckles. "Oh shut up. You're the one who is looking beautiful today." Hongjoong smiles and wraps his tiny arms around his boyfriend.

"On a scale of 1 to 10, how excited are you about this mission?" Hongjoong asks with a small smirk on his face. "Oh I couldn't be more excited. This one is totally up my alley." Mingi says with a hint of sarcasm causing Hongjoong to laugh. "Ready to go out and fix this mission babe?" "I think I'm as ready as I'll ever be." Mingi laughs as they make their way downstairs.

Hongjoong grabs their camera. They decided to not only film it for their Treasure Film but also stream it live for the others to watch. "I still don't understand why you want them to be watching this live." Mingi mumbles. "Because we all know it's going to be so funny and I don't want them to miss any second of it." Hongjoong laughs and Mingi rolls his eyes in a playful way. "Fine. Let's go and get this over with."

They make their way out the door, enjoying the beauty of Sydney on their way to the pharmacy. Hongjoong intertwines his fingers with Mingi's and caresses his hand softly. "Have you been practicing for this when you found out what you have to get or are you just going in and see what happens?" "If I would have practiced I would have practiced with you so no. I'm just going in since I think it will be a lot more fun as well. I'm just gonna try my best and we'll where that takes us."

As they're walking towards the city where the pharmacy is located, Hongjoongs eyes catches something. "Are they staring at us?" He whispers as Mingi turns to look that way and shrugs. He's used to being stared at when he's holding hands with his boyfriend.

It does piss him off sometimes. They're just a couple holding hands but sometimes it feels like they're some kind of animals that everyone wants to look at. "Maybe. But people often stare at us babe. Just ignore them."

Hongjoong nods in agreement but his gut feeling is telling him something else.

They're not just looking at us. Sure, people turn around if we hold hands all the time because apparently it's something people need to see twice, but this time feels different. Maybe Mingi is right. Maybe I shouldn't be making such an issue out of people looking at us every time.

As he's trying to push Mingi's words in his head, it still doesn't reassure him and the uneasy feeling he has is not going away either.

"So we're in city now guys, on our way to the pharmacy for my mission. I'm pretty sure it's all going to go very smooth. No worries at all and I'll come back with all the things from the list I swear!" Mingi looks at the camera and laughs.

Hongjoong isn't paying attention to actually filming their mission anymore. He turns around to see where the group of guys is and panics when he sees they're getting up and start walking behind them in the same direction. "Why are they following us?" He asks and Mingi turns to look behind them as well. "I don't know. Maybe they're just heading the same way?"

Sometimes Hongjoong is glad that Mingi is much more relaxed and laid back than he is, but not right now. "Mingi I really don't think they're just heading in the same direction.. I feel like they're coming for us." Hongjoong says as he squeezes his boyfriend's hand more firmly.

Mingi turns around only to see the group of guys quickly catching up on them. "Shit. I think you're right." Mingi is still holding the camera in the meantime. All the other members are just watching it happen without being able to do something.

As they're getting closer Mingi turns to look at his boyfriend. "Run." He sprints off, keeping his hand locked with Hongjoong's. He doesn't care if he gets hurt, all he wants is boyfriend to be safe and not get hurt.

Before they got the chance to run far away, Hongjoong feels a strong hand grabbing his arm and yanking him away from Mingi. "Mingi!!" He shouts but there is nothing he can do at this point. The group seems to be huge in comparison to the two of them. Before Hongjoong can do anything he feels the guy twist both of his arms on his back as he pushes him down to the ground.

"You ugly faggots don't belong on this planet!" "Get the fuck out of our country! You two are disgusting!" "Either kill yourself or we'll make sure you get killed!"

Hongjoong lets out a loud scream as the side of his face hits the ground. "G- get off me!" He tries to wiggle away from the firm grip but it's useless. As one guy is pinning him down to the ground, he can feel someone else kicking him and hitting him. He tries to scream for help but the pain is getting unbearable to a point where he passes out.

Meanwhile the other guys are trying to pin Mingi against a nearby wall but he's not letting that happen. His eyes are focused on his boyfriend who is getting completely beaten up. Mingi's rage is growing as he's trying to get rid of the guys to help his boyfriend.

"I SAID GET OFF ME!" He screams and starts hitting and kicking around. He doesn't care where he hits them, how he hits them or how much he hurts them. They need to go away and he needs to help his boyfriend.

Finally the group gathers again and takes off. "Hongjoong!" Mingi runs over to his boyfriend who is still laying on the cold ground. "Hongjoong baby it's me." Mingi says as he kneels down, placing small kisses on his forehead. As Hongjoong opens his eyes he groans in pain. His boy feels like it's been hit by a truck.

"Oh thank goodness you're back. Where-" "E- everything hurts." Hongjoong manages to say as he looks at his boyfriend with tears in his eyes.

The others are back at the dorm. They've witnessed the whole thing. Jongho brushes the tears from his eyes as Seonghwa pulls him into his arms.

For them it was like watching a horrible nightmare unfold right in front of their eyes. They were screaming at the TV, but Mingi and Hongjoong couldn't hear them. They were holding each other tightly, hoping this horror scene would stop quickly.

No one dared to look when the camera hit the ground, pointing towards Hongjoong. All they could hear were his screams and Mingi screaming in the distance for him.

"W- we need to get into the van and try to find them!" San says with his hands in his hair. "But how can we find them Sannie? There are so many pharmacies out there. How do we know which one they were going to?" Yunho says as he places his hand on San's back.

"W- we can watch the video! Follow their route! T- that should bring us to them right?" Yeosang suggests and the others just look at him. That never crossed their mind. They grab the laptop and rewind the video as they all jump in the van, making their way over to Hongjoong and Mingi.

"Can you sit up baby?" Mingi asks and Hongjoong nods slightly. He sits up with the help of his boyfriend and sobs lightly. "I- I thought we would be safe here." He covers his bruised face with his tiny hands as Mingi carefully holds his broken and fragile boyfriend in his arms. "Me too baby.. Me too. I'm so sorry that I couldn't protect you when you needed me the most.." "N- no don't apologize. We're both hurt and scarred." Mingi swallows hard and nods. This whole situation was his worst nightmare and it had just come true.

After a while he feels his boyfriend shiver and shake in his arms. "Can you stand up baby? We need to go back so I take care of you. I only got a couple of hits I'm okay." Hongjoong nods as he tries to get up, leaning on his boyfriend. He moans in pain when he leans on his left foot. "Does it hurt?" Hongjoong nods and Mingi puts his arm underneath Hongjoongs shoulders. He takes small steps as Hongjoong is limping by his side. "If it's too much, I'll carry you okay?" Mingi suggests as Hongjoong nods silently again.

As they're slowly making their way over, a van suddenly stops nearby them. Hongjoong clearly remembers the words the guy said to him "We'll make sure you get killed." He doesn't even bother to look where the van came from. "We need to run! T- they're going to kill us!" Hongjoong stutters as he tries to jump away but Mingi holds him tightly.

"Baby it's not them. It's the others." Mingi says as he points at their logo that is on the van.

The others jump out as soon as they spot Mingi and Hongjoong. "Are you okay??" They gather around the two others members. "I- I just wanna go back." Hongjoong mumbles and Yeosang nods. "Let me help you." He says gently as he helps Hongjoong in the van. Yunho helps Mingi and the van and the others get in as well.

Hongjoong stares out the window, not saying a word. The pain he felt earlier turned into a feeling of numbness. His body no longer hurts but he doesn't seem to feel anything either.

Mingi places his hand carefully on his boyfriends thigh to make the slightest bit of contact. "I'll take care of you Joongie I promise."

Once they get back to the dorm Mingi carries Hongjoong upstairs, laying him down on their shared bed. "Baby tell me what's going on in your mind." Mingi sits down on the edge of his bed, brushing his fingers softly through his hair. Hongjoong lays his head on Mingi's lap and closes his eyes. "I'm just scared.. I felt so powerless Mingi. I couldn't help you, you couldn't help me. I really felt like they were going to kill us.."

Mingi nods as he understands how his boyfriend must have felt when they pinned him down on the ground. He leans down and whispers softly "I understand you baby, but they didn't kill us and I would never let anyone kill you, ever. You're my everything Hongjoong and I will protect you with my life if I have to. I promise I will never let this happen again."

A small smile starts to form on Hongjoongs lips again. "I love you Mingi." "I love you more Joongie. Shall we go to the bathroom so I can check out your injuries?" Hongjoong nods as he kisses Mingi softly on his lips, who gladly returns the kiss with the same amount of love.

A/N: I'm back! I hope you enjoyed this oneshot!

Also I'm kinda thinking about adding AU plots as well or oneshots based on songs.

What do you guys think about that? And if you do want me to do something like that, should I make a seperate book for it or just add them into this oneshot book? What do you prefer? Please let me know in the comments because I don't just write because I love it, but I love your input/thoughts/ideas.
