9 Years Later
"Noah, Kadie! Get down! Dad needs to take you to school!" Two sets of feet run down the steps and stop in front of me, two smiles aimed at me as I kneel down in front of the two. They each give me kisses to my cheeks before Aidan comes up to me on his phone.
"First day of high school, buddy. Are you ready?" Aidan looks up at me and sighs. "I don't know... I have friends, yes, and I'm sure they will have classes with me, but I don't like new people. What if people bully me for being Bi?" I sign and shake my head.
"I'm sure no one will judge you. Its what, 2026? If people still are so rude and judgmental then they deserve a scolding." He snorts quietly before hugging me. "You're right, Da. Thanks for the words and this phone by the way. I feel more safe now that I have one." I smile and nod firmly.
"Its no problem. You are 14 and you should have a phone when starting high school. You'll be going to parties soon and going to things after school. We want you to keep us updated when you aren't home, yeah?" He nods before Liam comes up to us.
"How is my beautiful family doing today?" Aidan and I smile at him as Kadie and Noah put on their shoes, getting ready for fourth grade today. "We are doing good. Aidan here is a bit nervous about his first day, but I know that he will be fine." Aidan blushes a bit while Liam wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me close.
"You'll be fine, Aidan. If someone does mess with you, tell your teachers and principals. I went to the school you are going to and they actually listened to the students and me when we got bullied." He nods slowly and gently smiles.
"Okay, dad. Thank you." Liam smiles at him before he walks off to put on his shoes. I look up at him as he looks down at me, a gentle smile on his face as I grin.
"I can't believe how much time has passed so quickly.. Soon enough Aidan will be out to college and Kadie and Noah will be in high school. I'm really nervous about that." He kisses my temple before sighing happily. "You worry too much, love. They will be fine as time goes on." I sigh and nod slowly.
"I believe you... It's just, I'm a worry wort and I trust no one and nothing. Except for my family and friends and you, my lovely husband." He chuckles and pecks my lips.
"I understand, my love. I'm the same way, but they will really be okay." He says whilst chuckling. "There's no need to worry so much about them. If they'll need help then they will get it from us. We will always be there for them no matter what. Plus they have friends who look out for them. They are okay." I sigh again and look away from him.
"You're always the wise one out of the two of us. I hate you." He giggles a bit. "I love you too, dork." I frown as he kisses my cheek. "I didn't say I love you... But I do loathe you." He smirks.
"I know you love me so I'm gonna ignore that comment and go on with my life... Kadie, Noah! Are you two ready?" I roll my eyes as he walks off to the two. I could never hate Liam, never in a million years.
"Da! Dad told us to tell you goodbye." Kadie tells me with her sweet, little, Irish accent. I kneel down a little and pull her and Noah into a huge as he runs up to us. Noah is the shy one as Kadie is a social butterfly. She always has his back and its so adorable.
"You two have a good day, okay? I packed each of you a big, chocolate cookie with heart shaped sandwiches because I love you both oh so much. Tell your friends that I said hi, okay?" I kiss their heads before they nod together.
"Okay, Da. Have a good day!" They each kiss one cheek of mine before running off to the car in the garage, Liam in view again. I walk up to him and kiss him slowly. He kisses me back firmly, gripping my waist gently as we smile through the kiss.
I wrap my arms around his waist as I stop the kiss, staring him in the eyes as we sigh happily. "I love you and have a good day at work, okay?" He smiles and pecks my lips. "I love you too and I will try." I peck his lips one last time before he walks off into the garage. Aidan has already gone to the bus stop so I'm home alone now, what to do.

After picking up the kids and Aidan coming back home, I decide to tell them about my plan that I have already set up for Liam. "So the front door is going to be wide open, which will worry your father, and he will run in to find the new pup Loki." Loki barks lightly in my lap as the kids look at him in awe.
"Aidan you will whistle Loki to come for you, which he will, and he will see you, Kadie and Noah, sitting in front of our room, your father and I's. He will come in and see me and close the door behind him and lock it. For reasons. I'll be making your father very happy alright? Uncle Louis and Harry will be watching you, babysitting you." The three nod, I'm sure Kadie and Noah not caring as I spoke a lot, but Aidan understood, hopefully.
"Didn't you babysit me before marrying dad?" I nod and start blushing. "I did. You were and still are a wonderful kid, my baby boy." He smiles and nods. "Cool. I love you, Da." He hugs me and I quickly hug him back. "I love you too, bud." A car door slams shut, making Aidan and I stop the hug.
"Let's do this, little ones."
