Jimin was standing in the pooring rain when it happened. He was wearing nothing but a T-shirt and jeans when Yoongi left.

He begged- oh boy did he beg, but Yoongi didn't listen.

See, Jimin wanted to be with Yoongi forever, Jimin wanted a big wedding, kids, maybe a dog. An all around perfect life. Yoongi was the opposite.

Yoongi was never crazy about marriage, love, and relationships as a hole, but that doesn't mean he didn't love Jimin, because he did. Yoongi believed that being in a relationship was nice, and he knew that from first hand experience. Yoongi thought, you get into a relationship, you fall in love, and once you achieve your dream, if that person's holding you back then you have to leave them behind. And that's what Yoongi did.

Yoongi always wanted to be a producer, he wanted to be worldwide famous and live the dream. Of course Jimin wanted that for Yoongi, Jimin wanted to give Yoongi everything Yoongi wanted. But love can't buy Yoongi his dream.

Yoongi had finally got his name out into the world when he produced some songs for a big artist. He was beyond happy, and Jimin was happy for him, but he wouldn't have been if he knew it would mean the end of Jimin and Yoongi's relationship. But of course Jimin didn't know that at the time.

Yoongi decided one late night that it wad the end for him and Jimin. Yoongi wanted to travel the world and do amazing things, but he can't do that with a lover, he couldn't travel around the world and leave Jimin at home, it would be hard on both of them.

So when Yoongi told Jimin, Jimin just stared at Yoongi in shock, because he couldn't believe what he was hearing. They were doing great, amazing in fact and they hardly ever had arguments, they were just wonderful together, and they were both happy. So why did it have to end?

*Falshback*

"Yoongi..Why? Did I do something? I'm sorry.. Please don't leave me, I love you so much it hurts, your the only one I want, please don't go." Jimin said tears streaming down his face.

"I'm sorry Jimin, I love you too, but this is my dream, to be a big time producer. This is my chance, and I can't let anybody stand in my way." Yoongi said looking at Jimins swollen, red eyes.

"Hyung, I would never stand in your way, I want you to live your dream, why would I ever stand in your way. I love you, take me with you, can't we live your dream together?" Jimin grabbed Yoongi's hand.

"No, I have to do this alone, your a distraction." Yoongi said, gently pulling his hand back.

*End of flashback*

"Yoongi please, I can't live without you, your the love of my life!" Jimin begged.

Yoongi sighed and turned around to face Jimin. He walked up to him and pulled him close to his chest.

"Don't cry." He whispered which just made Jimin sob harder.

Yoongi pulled away and wiped under Jimins eyes even though it was raining, so the action was pretty pointless. Then he kissed Jimins forehead that had wet hair stuck to it.

"I love you Jimin, wait for me, I promise one day we can be together. Just wait for me." And then he turned around and walked away.

Then Yoongi left and got into the Taxi, leaving Jimin a sobbing mess in the rain.

*End of flashback*

So Jimin waited, and waited...And waited, but Yoongi never did come back. He waited so long, but Yoongi never came back like he said he would.

So after 7 years, Jimin stopped waiting. He had to face the reality that this wasn't some disney movie, and Yoongi was never going to come back for Jimin. These days the closest he ever got to Yoongi was seeing his name on the back of every damn CD and all over TV. And Jimin realised, Yoongi's famous now, he doesn't want Jimin anymore. So Jimin gives up.

He becomes closer with a childhood friend he's known since he was 7, Jungkook. They become closer and closer and Jungkook picks up the pieces of Jimins broken heart and he heals Jimin. So they start dating, Jimin falls in love, and suddenly Jimin is happy again. But of course Jimin will never love Jungkook like he loves Yoongi, and even Jungkook accepts that Jimin has a special place for Yoongi in his heart.

Yoongi is alone, he knew now what a horrible mistake he made when he left Jimin. He's still so in love with the beautiful Park Jimin he met 13 years ago. He still misses Jimin every single day. He misses Jimin with all his heart, but he's too much of a coward to face Jimin after abandoning him like that. And Yoongi realises now how stupid he was, he left Jimin to live his dream, but what he failed to realise is that his dream is incomplete when Jimin's not by his side.

8 years later, Yoongi recieves something in the mail. A wedding invetation. Jungkook and Jimins names are written on the piece of paper and he smiles a little. Although it hurts, he's glad Jimin's happy now. He met Jungkook a few times, he always had a thing for Jimin, he was such a sweet kid. He never crossed a line because he knew at the time that Jimin and Yoongi were together. He's glad Jungkook was there to help Jimin and allow Jimin to fall in love again. He's glad that they're happy together. And he smiles.

So Yoongi goes to the wedding.

He watches as Jimins eyes flicker towards him and Jimin smiles one of those beautiful smiles that Yoongi hasn't seen in so long.

Jungkook looks too and smiles at Yoongi, and Yoongi smiles back.

Yoongi watches the ceramony, howhappy Jimin looks, how utterly in love they are, he watches how Jimin tears up as Jungkook says his vowls.

"I'll always be here to fix the heart that is still so damaged, and I promise to never stop trying to do that for you." And that makes something in Yoongi want to cry.

Yoongi knows it's because of him that Jimin is still so damaged, but he knows Jungkook will heal his heart, he knows they will be happy together.

When the ceramony is over Yoongi finds Jungkook ans Jimin standing together, so he slowly approaches them.

"Hey Jimin, Jungkook." Yoongi smiles.

Both of them smile back as their fingers tangle together.

"It was a beautiful ceramony, I'm really happy for you both." And Jungkook nods a thank you.

"May I, Jungkook" Yoongi asks gesturning to the dance floor and Jungkook nods quickly.

And Jungkook wanders into the sea of people to talk to various guests.

"Go ahead."

So Yoongi takes Jimins delicate hands and pulls them onti the dance floor.

"I didn't think you'd actually come." Jimin says hooking his arms around Yoongi's neck.

"Of course I would, I wouldn't miss your wedding for the world." Yoongi puts his hands on Jimins waist.

"Thank you, hyung." And Jimin leans his head on Yoongi's chest.

"I missed you, Jiminie, you have no idea." Yoongj admits.

"Then why did you leave me?" Jimin looks up to Yoongi who just sighes.

"I don't know, I was stupid, but hey, you have Jungkook now, and your happy." Yoongi smikes a little.

"I am." Jimin responds with a smile.

"I waited so long, hyung," Jimin turns serious for a moment, "7 years."

"I know you waited, and I'm sorry I asked you to do that, I'm so glad that you moved on though, you and Jungkook are perfect together." Yoongi tells the shorter.

"I know, but I still love you, and everybody knows I still have a place in my heart for you." Jimin smiles sadly.

"I love you too, and my whole heart still belongs to you, Jimin." Yoongi smiles.

"I hope we can be friends, I don't think I could handle you leaving a second time, the first time already hurt enough." Jimin says his eyes watering.

Yoongi wipes away Jimins tears and holds Jimin against his chest.

He can see Jungkook out of the corber of his eye, smiling sadly at them. He's greatful that Jungkook understands, if Jimin were marrying anyone else they probably would have punched Yoongi by now. So he's greatful that Jungkook respects Yoongi and Jimins space. He knows Jungkook will treat him well.

"So you and Jungkook, huh?" Yoongi says when Jimin lifts his head back up.

"Yeah." Jimin laughs a little.

"I saw it coming." Yoongi laughed.

"Yeah, I know he always loved me, and he still does, he treats me like a prince and he loves me with all his heart, and that's really all I could ever ask for. It's all I want." Jimin smiles.

"He treats you how you deserve, I know he will never hurt you, you'll be safe with him." Yoongi squeezes Jimin tightly.

"I know." Jimin sighes happily.

"Listen, I have to leave, but rhe wedding was beautiful, and I'm happy for you both." Jimin smiles at Yoongi.

"Keep in contact with me hyung, my numbers still the same as it was 8 years ago." Jimin says letting go of Yoongi's neck.

They hug tightly one last time and Yoongi smiles.

"Goodbye, Jiminie." Yoongi says kissing his forehead.

"Goodbye, Yoongi." Jimin says tears threatening to spill from his eyes.

When Yoongi is close to his car he turns back to look at Jimin, he's standing on the dance floor with Jungkook, in a tight embrace. They're rocking slowly back and forth, and Jimins smile is lighting up the whole room. Jimin laughs at something Jungkooks saying and they both look happy. Jungkook leans his chin on top of Jimins head and looks towards Yoongi. He smiles as if to thank Yoongi for something that Yoongi doesn't even know he did.

Yoongi smiles back and gets into his car.

10 years later Yoongi and Jimin are sitting together with their friends in Jimin and Jungkooks back garden.

It's Jimin and Jungkooks 1 year anniversary. They're all celebrating, and everyone is having fun.

Seokjin and Namjoon are there, holding hands after being married for a good 6 years now.

Hoseok is there with his girlfriend of 3 years, Minhyo.

Yoongi and Taehyung are both there alone, but it's not noticable, everyone is talking together and it wasn't about who your dating or married to. It was about friends and celebrating a happy occasion.

When everyone is lost deep in their own conversations Jimin looks at Yoongi.

Yoongi looks back and they share a smile.

"I can't believe we got to this point." Jimin says quietly.

"I know, it seems so unreal, huh." Yoongi smiles.

"Are you still not dating anyone, hyung?" Jimin asks hopefully.

"Nope." Yoongi shakes his head and Jimin rolls his eyes.

"You need to get back out there." Jimin tells Yoongi.

"I'm happy being alone." Yoongi shrugs.

"Nope, your finding yourself a man and your gonna marry him, and I better be invited to te damn wedding." Jimin says sternly and Yoongi laughs.

And Jimin smiles, the smile Yoongi will never get tired of, and in that moment everything is perfect.

13 years later and Yoongi isn't alone anymore, He's married. He's married to Taehyung, and he loves Taehyung with all his heart.

They had a beautiful wedding that of course Jimin attended. All their friends did, and they all cried like babies when Yoongi and Taehyung said their vows. Taehyung cried at Yoongi's and Yoongi cried at Taehyungs.

He and Taehyung were happy together, Yoongi treated Taehyung amazingly, and Taehyung gives Yoongi everything.

And this time Yoongi doesn't make the mistake he made with Jimin. He takes Taehyung with him to live his dream, and he's truly never been so happy.

15 years later and they're all happy. They're all still friends, Taehyung and Yoongi are still married, Jungkook and Jimin are still married, Namjoon and Seokjin are still married (11 years now, which was pretty awesome), and Hoseok is married to Minhyo, and has been for 4 years. They have a baby girl, Sojin.

And everything is perfect.
