I could not get what Zander had told us last night off my mind. I couldn't get it off my mind all of the next day, I couldn't get anything out of him that day because Landon and him went to a town to buy some things. The day after the were back though. After waking up and starting a fire I waited patiently for everyone to get up. Zander was the first to wake up, he walked over and said down next to me yawning.

"Can we talk?" I asked him. "Like, best friend talks like we used to have when we we were kids?" I asked looking at him.

"Yeah sure, let me get dressed and let's go for a walk." He said standing again. After he got dressed we started walking down by the shore of the lake.

"Zander, we've been friends since first grade and you never told me... your cousin... um did some things to you." I said putting my hands in the pockets of my sweatshirt.

"Yep." He said simply, he didn't even glance at me. "I didn't want to talk about it, and I still don't." He said.

"Dude, you never even said one word about it or anything. I think it's strange, especially because of how we were basically attached at the hip as kids."

"It took my six years to get to the point where I didn't think about it everyday. I didn't want to talk about it to anyone, I told my mom but she didn't believe me." He huffed as he stopped to pick up a rock and skip it across the water. "I don't really have anything to say about it.

"Okay." I said knowing I was getting on his last nerve. "I'll miss you when I move to Russia." I said picking up a rock and examining it.

"I'll be the one missing you more." He said keeping his gaze fixed on the water in front of us. I slipped the rock into my pocket. We watched as the sun peaked over the mountains. I hadn't spent time with just Zander in a long time. No more words were exchanged but I knew things would change when I left for Russia.

At lunch time Alex finally woke up. He came out of his tent wrapped in a blanket and walked over to the campfire sitting down beside Zander. "Good morning sleeping beauty." Said Zander kidding Alex's cheek.

Alex smiled and yawned and then turned his head to face Zander. "I'm still tired." He said. Then I noticed a dark mark on his neck that stood out from his otherwise pale skim.

"Oh my god you have a hickey!" I said laughing. Landon looked over and I saw him stifle a laugh from the corner of my eye.

Alex raised his hand up to cover it self consciously. "In fact he does have a hicky, don't cover it up. I don't want my magnificent work to go unnoticed!" Said Zander grabbing his and and pulling it away from his neck.

"You two are just to cute." I said laughing as I stood up to go get more firewood. As I stood over by the firewood pile I heard some guys talking I turned me head to get a better veiw. There was about ten guys in their twenties they were sitting around a fire put with no fire drinking beer.

I walked back with the fire wood. "There's some guys over there, how many beers do you think I can flirt out of them?" I asked as I placed the wood in the fire.

"At least one for all of us here." Said Zander as he poked the fire with a stick.

"I bet I can get two per person." I said sitting down.

"Okay, let's do it later." Said Landon. I nodded and we waited for night to come.

I walked over to the boys camp later the evening. They were all still drinking beer and talking. Zander, Alex, Asher and Landon were around the camp hiding in the bushes.

I walked over with my best sad face on. "My friends left me and I don't know what to do? Could one of you guys help me?" I asked.

"Of course darling! Why don't you just hang out with us for a bit?" Asked on of the guys patting a seat on the log next to him. I walked over sitting down, the plan was get the beers and hand then off to my friends.

"Thanks so much! Think you could spare a beer for me?" I asked.

"How old are you?" Asked on of the boys, he was holding a beer for me in his hand.

"I'm twenty." I said looking around as it got really silent. Then they told me to get lost.

"We can't give an underage chick a drink." They said. I left with my head hung. What kind of guys enforce a law when there was a hot girl involved? When I got back to our campsite Zander was laughing at me.

"Wow, I thought you could actually do it." Said Landon joining in on Zander's fun.

"Shut up." I snapped crossing my arms. "I'd like to see you do better." I walked over to my tent pulling out a large bottle of vodka.

"Whoa, where'd you get that?" Asked Asher.

"Filipp sent it to me, straight from Russia." I said as I dug around in my bag for a bottle opener. When I finally got it opened I smiled. "Let's play a drinking game."

"Okay fine, unless it turns out to be like the game last time." Said Zander. We walked over and sat down on a log.

"What game are we playing?" Asked Alex.

"Never have I ever." I said smiling. "Let's each do three." I said laughing.

"Okay you go first." Said Asher.

"Never have a ever been to Canada." I said. I handed the bottle to them and Asher and Alex took a swig. I thought for a moment before coming up with another one. "Never have I ever been on a cruise." This time it was Alex, Landon and Zander drinking.

"My last one..." I said thinking. "Never have I ever broken a plate." I said. They all drank to my last one. I laughed and sat down letting Zander go up next.

"Never have I ever kissed a girl." Said Zander laughing. Landon and Asher both drank. "Never have I ever punched someone." Me and Asher took a drink.

"Never have I ever seen Shakespeare play." He said. Alex and Landon drank to the last one.

"I'll go." Said Asher standing up. "Never have I ever been to California." We all drank to that one. "Never have I ever owned a pool." He laughed as Alex drank again.

"I'm running out of ideas... Never have I ever... Been to the symphony." Alex, Landon and Zander all to a swig.

"I'll go next." Said Alex standing up, almost falling over as he did so. "Never have I ever made a snow angel." He said laughing. We all took a drink. Alex didn't drink, so, it didn't take much to get him drunk. "Never have I ever been swimming in the Atlantic Ocean." Landon, Zander and I took a swig.

"Never have I ever seen a buffalo." Alex laughed, he had a weird drunk laugh. Landon and Asher took a drink. Alex flopped back down on the log as Landon stood up.

"Never have I ever owned a dog." Alex, Zander and I all took a drink. Landon smiled and thought about it for a moment. "Never have I ever dated someone with blue eyes." Zander and I took a drink.

"Never have I ever owned a nice car." Said Landon laughing as he sat back down. Alex and Asher took a drink on the last one. Alex was by far the most drunk. He never would drink though so I guess it was normal.

"I'm making a hot dog." Declared Asher as he grabbed a package of hot dogs and a stick to roast it on.

"Oooh! I want one too." Said Alex he grabbed a hot dog and stuck it on a roasting stick holding it above the fire.

"How can you be eating a hot dog? It's like eleven at night." I asked laughing as Asher looked away from the hot dog.

"It's never to late for a hot dog." Said Asher. His hotdog caught on fire and Alex just started laughing and couldn't stop. He was so different when he was drunk. "Damn. I can't believe I just did that. That was stupid."

"You can call it stupid but in the end it's just a burnt hot dog." I said laughing as he grabbed another one to start cooking.

Alex pulled his away from the fire and examined it before looking across the fire at Zander. Alex held up the hot dog and raised his eyebrows. Zander winked and Alex laughed eating the hot dog. It was then that I realized the stupid little moments with my friends like these are what I was going to miss most of all.
