Hey everyone, here's an extra long chapter for you all, one that will give you lots to look forward too! :3

I didn't even mean for it to turn out so long, but yay for the unexpected! ;D

Hope you all enjoy it!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nathan's P. O. V.

I bit my lip as I stared secretly over towards Aiden from the corner of my eyes, a slight frown on my face. I studied him as he listened tentatively to the teacher lecture at the front of the class, occasionally stopping to write down some notes onto his notebook.

Numerous thoughts cross my mind as I continued to study him undetected, and most of it centered on figuring out my feelings for Aiden.

At the moment, there was no doubt in my mind that I still held, and continue to hold, feelings for Aiden, ones of love.

However, it was not possible at this time, for me to be able to admit this out loud to Aiden without wanting to deny this truth. And even though I no longer had thoughts of revenge, and no longer felt the need to avoid him, I still cannot face Aiden concerning these feelings of mine.

I don't know if the reason for this was due to embarrassment, or if I was just that stubborn and hard headed.

I found it frustrating really, how I unconsciously handicap myself like that, knowing full well that it will only cause trouble for me later on when the time comes to confess theses feeling.

Thankfully, I still had time to fix this issue before it really becomes a problem.

Putting aside that worry for another day, I let my mind wander to yesterday's date. A small smile automatically spread along my face before I had the chance to suppress it. The smile itself contained bits of joy and satisfaction, mirroring my thoughts of that night.

Our date had overall, been close to perfect. Aiden had been so sweet and his gentleman act had left me amused. I had found it absolutely adorable and at some points I had trouble controlling the urge to just take Aiden in my arms and smother him until he was gasping for breath and face flushed red from lust and desire.

The thought in of itself sparked my desires to see such an arousing face, and I could vaguely feel the start of a burning sensation slowly making its way downwards, until a stiffness began to form throughout my cock, hardening it.

Hurriedly shaking my head, I rid myself of such an inappropriate and intrusive thought, as this was a school environment, and it was not the time to be having such contemplations. And I definitely did not want to be caught showing such physical reactions where everyone could possibly discover and ridicule me about it.

So, I stopped my body from responding any more than it has and distracted myself with another, more pressing, thought.

Thinking back on yesterday, the only thing that had rudely brought the mood crashing down was the period after the actual date, and the cause for that said downer was me, when I had insensitively asked if I could meet Aiden's parents.

I'm positive, that that was the stupidest thing I have ever done in my life. By far the worst. And what made that situation even worse, was the fact that I should have known the answer before even asking.

There was a reason why he had turned out to be a homophobic asshole back then. The cause of his behavior could only stem from two things:

1) Parental influence, or;

2) Past trauma or self-developed hate towards gays

And in Aiden's case, his misguided judgment came from his dad.

And yet, I had unthinkingly asked that question like an oblivious fool. I wish I could bury myself deep underground and remain there for the rest of my puny life if it would mean taking back those words from that night; however, that was not possible, and because of my dumbass self, I have to deal with the after effects of my ignorance.

Even now, I could tell that Aiden was affected by those words. He hide his worry well I behind his indifferent mask, but I could see it in his eyes. He was deathly afraid of his father finding out about me.

It made me exceedingly angry knowing that my Aiden felt so threatened in his own home, from his own father nonetheless. I literally wanted to confront his father right this moment and knock some sense into him, shout at him to get over himself and accept his son for who he is, and to throw away his stupid ideals and self-righteous beliefs, but... I knew that it was a horrible idea to do so, no matter how much I wanted to do just that.

I knew that if I did do that, then I would be putting Aiden in a terrible position, as he is the one who has to deal with his father the most. And, I couldn't put him in such a dangerous situation, also knowing that if something did end up happening to Aiden, then I would find it extremely hard to hold myself back from killing that son of a bitch.

I clenched my hands into tightly balled fists as the thought of Aiden getting hurt because of my impulsiveness caused my chest to squeeze painfully. I vowed right then, to never let such a thing happen to Aiden, and to never reveal our relationship to his father, or anyone else who could potentially cause harm to either Aiden or I.

It was in that moment, when chill went through me, causing a shiver to run down my spine as an unpleasant feeling overwhelmed me, causing me to grow uneasy. My eyebrow twitched and my expression stiffened, and I couldn't help but feel as if I had suddenly brought down upon myself an ill omen.

Alertness spread through me then, and my eyes flickered to and fro, as if searching for the source of this evilness. However, I could find nothing, and could only hope that I had felt wrong as I spent the rest of the periods until lunch stewing with worry.

As lunch rolled around, I was relieved to distract myself from my brooding and got up to join everyone for lunch. And as the lunch period went by without any incidents, I began to drop my guard, thinking that the bad feeling I had gotten before was just all in my head, when I happened to look over to my left to find Jake and Samuel approaching our table.

The moment I caught sight of them, was the same time when everyone else noticed the two of them.

Immediately, the bad feeling which had sunken and settled into the pit of my stomach, where it sat there churning and roiling, a constant annoyance in the back of my mind, intensified.

My expression turned tense as the two of them came to a stop just a few feet away from our table, while Zack, Kyle, and Mia's face became unsightly, and Aiden's expression turned to one of nervousness.

Jake had a sneer on his face, and his eyes seemed to mock me.

Samuel, on the other hand, seemed uncomfortable being here; however, I believed that he was only here to keep either Jake in check, or to make sure Jake didn't get his ass kicked, which I had a good inking was going to happen very soon.

Thinking back on it, lately, it seemed that Samuel was changing, moving on from his bullying ways, just like Aiden had. Shocking really.

However, it confused me why he still hung around with Jake even when knowing how bad his personally is, because it was obvious to me that Samuel did not like it when Jake mistreats us nowadays.

I suspect that his reason for sticking around had less to do with him being Jake's break, and more to do with how he felt about Jake.

I strongly believe that Samuel held more than just feelings of friendship towards Jake, and that that was the reason for his change. It was certain that he no longer held any ill feelings towards gays, or really never had any in the beginning, and so Jake's harsh treatment towards us only left a sour taste in his mouth.

I just wonder when this change of his started, and what could have caused him to suddenly decide to go against Jake, when he had been so clearly obedient to follow behind Jake despite having such feelings for him; possibly being afraid of Jake finding out about said such feelings being why he never stood up against Jake back then.

I guess recent events have been some kind of eye opener for him or something, is all I can conclude, and that he no longer feels the desire to go along with his past façade.

He perhaps, wishes to confess his feelings for Jake, but holds back due to his hate for gays, and that was also why he had put up the mask of hating gays and helping bully gays, so that Jake would not get suspicious of Samuel being gay himself.

It may also be that he stays near Jake because, at any moment, he may never be able to be by his side once Jake finds out about his feelings. And so he cherishes every moment of time he has with Jake, only to fear the day when can never do so again.

It was sad really, how hopeless of a situation Samuel was stuck in. For him, there was no light at the end of the tunnel, only darkness.

"What do you want?" I asked, narrowing my eyes at Jake, trying to be at least somewhat polite for Samuel and Aiden's sake, despite knowing that this conversation will get uncivilized soon enough.

And I couldn't have been more right.

"Guess who I saw last night?" Jake asked, completely ignoring me and my question as he directed his attention to Aiden.

My mood darkened even further when he did this, and I exchanged glances with Aiden. Confusion seemed to be written on his face, mirroring what I was feeling at the moment too. He too did not know what it was that Jake had in store by asking this.

"I don't know, and I don't care," Aiden settled for saying after a short while.

"Of course you would say that," Jake murmured, a hint of annoyance flashing across his face, before it returned to his snide sneer. "I'll tell you anyways, as I'm sure you'll love to know. Elizabeth, that's who I met up with. Remember her?"

Aiden's face paled instantly when he said her name, as if he knew that it would bring trouble to him.

"Ah, so you do remember her. I was thinking you had forgotten all about your ex-girlfriend, the one you had so passionately told that you love to. And yet here you are, a faggot. I wonder how that came to be, when not too long ago, you would proudly proclaim yourself straight," Jake said, looking as if he was contemplating the very meaning of life.

"Jake!" Mia exclaimed with a face full of anger, shooting up to a standing position, almost knocking her chair back onto the floor.

By now, curious glances where been thrown our way from the surrounding tables. Being aware of these gazes the most, I glared darkly at Jake, and a deep scowl forming on my face.

"Jake, not another word," I threatened.

"Oh, and you know what she told me?" Jake continued to ignore my subtle warning like the stupid fool he is. Excitement and delight towards our reaction shined in his eyes, he was obviously enjoying our discomfort and rage, and had no plans to back off despite the potential of danger his words might bring to him.

"Can't guess? Well, she told me that she saw two little faggots on a date last night. Awe, how disgusting," Jake spat. "It makes me want to puke knowing your kind is trying to act like a normal couple."

"I said enough," I shouted, attracting startled gazes from everyone currently eating in the cafeteria, and threw a punch out at Jake.

I was beyond livid with Jake, and nothing would satisfy my rage more than punching Jakes face into a bloody pulp.

Unfortunately, Jake managed to quickly dodge my fist, as if he had predicted my every action that was purposefully instigated by his words, and I stumbled past him, but immediately turned to face him, not wanting to have my back facing him.

Jake threw a mocking smirk my way, taking joy in having stirred me up to such an extent. "Haha, what's wrong Nathan, can't handle the truth?" Jake taunted, trying to rattle me up some more.

I gritted my teeth, but held myself back from going at Jake again. Flickering my eyes around, I noticed how bad of a commotion we had caused.

The previously seated students were now hovering in a circle around Jake, Samuel, and our table. Their curious and judgmental gazes caused me to grow cold, as to these spectators, who had no idea what was going on to cause our disturbance, we're looking my way, as if I was the bad guy attacking Jake, and not the other way around. They did not know that it was indeed Jake who had instigated everything, they had only seen me trying to attack him.

I glanced over to Aiden and everyone else and saw that, from the expressions on their face, that they were urging me to calm down. I could also feel Samuel right behind me, no doubt ready to restrain me at any moment if I decided to go berserk.

And I so wanted to do just that, but I knew that it was what Jake wanted to happen, and I was not inclined to follow along with him in his plan to turn me into the bad guy.

So instead, I took a deep breath and eased my emotions steadily until I was sure I was fully in control of myself, before walking back over to Aiden's side, then faced Jake again. I could see a hint of disappointment in Jakes eyes for the fact that I had not gone crazy like he had wanted me to.

"I suggest you leave right now Jake. And don't even think about bothering Aiden and I again, because the moment you do, you're a dead man," I said forcefully, my eyes hard.

"Is that a threat I hear," Jake sneered, rage building in his eyes.

"You bet it is," I replied with a nasty grin that promised that I would indeed carrying out my words to the 'T'.

"I'll have none of that, now," a familiar voice drifted over from behind the crowd.

Startled, we look over for the source of where the voice was coming from, and watched as the crowd of students hastily parted for the person as they walked our way, and when that person came into sight, I was not surprised to see that it was Mrs. Gomez, or Linda, as she liked us to call her by, our schools principal.

With her arrival, I knew this incident will not side in her book. I could only expect the worst, and the worst I got.

"Jake, Samuel, Aiden, and Nathan, all four of you will be in my office after school for a meeting. I will be inviting your parents along as well, and if you try to get out of it, then you'll just end up with a weeklong suspension," Linda said, her tone of voice leaving no room for exception.

"Yes ma'am," we solemnly said in unison, each one of us no doubt dreading how this meeting will turn out.

Giving a quick hard scan over our faces to make sure that we knew to keep our word, Linda then gave a satisfied nod of her head, before turning around and departing.

The moment she was out of sight I turned a smothering glare Jake's way. "Great, thanks so much for that, Jake!" I growled irritably.

"Always my pleasure," Jake replied sarcastically, an attentive look in his eyes.

I took a threatening step towards Jake, as if I was going to go after him again, but was stopped from going any further by Aiden. His hand wrapped around my bicep tightly, causing me to pause and look over at him to see him shaking his head.

"Leave it. Let's just go," he said.

I hesitated, but in the end, nodded my head and followed Aiden and everyone else out the cafeteria. Even I knew that it was time to go, and that staying would only further the chances of me doing something I might not regret.

Once outside the cafeteria doors, worry filled my heart at the thought of the after school meeting that we will have to attend.

I couldn't help but think that it was not going to turn out well, at all.
