Hello everyone, this chapter is a bit short, but that's because I felt like the ending was a good enough place to stop at. I hope you all enjoy this capter very much!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Aiden's P. O. V.

The ride back home was sickeningly quiet, and I nearly suffocated because of the dark and heavy atmosphere that surround both father and I.

It caused continues cold shivers to run down my spine as dread filled me to no end, keeping me forever wondering what was going to happen to me when the car finally stopped in front of our house. Sweat couldn't help but perspire on my forehead and run down my back, further increasing the number of times I trembled from my yielding to my negative emotions.

My hands were tightly gripping the bottom of the car seat I was sitting on and my eyes were permanently glued on the blurred world outside my window, as I was far too afraid to look at my father for fear of what kind of expression was going to be on his face.

Was it devoid of emotions; a blank canvas? Or maybe I would see all his thoughts on his face?

Was he angry? Disappointed? Hurt? Or maybe I would see dislike for me, or expectance, as if he had known all along that I would turn out like this?

It wouldn't surprise me if he had, at some point, in the past few weeks, have guessed my secret. I mean, there was those few times when I would see suspicion in his gaze, especially after the day I had taken Nathan on that date.

So, who knows, he might of known all along, but had been denying the inevitable, but the confirmation during the meeting had awakened his worse fears.

Either way, I knew nothing would be alright after today.

My life was about drastically change.

I've accepted this fact.

I've also excepted that I'll probably never be able to mend my relationship with my father, that there was no more hope for any form of affection to be shared between us, even if there wasn't much before anyways.

Tears pooled beneath my eyes as I was strangely saddened by this thought, and a dull pain throbbed in my chest, more specifically, my heart. It felt as if someone was squeezing my heart in an ever tightening grip. It was an uncomfortable feeling that caused a lump to form in my throat that made it difficult to swallow.

I found it weird though, that I was feeling such emotions towards a man who, for the longest time, has caused me more harm than good.

I had thought that I had already closed my heart off to him completely, but I guess I hadn't, that there was still a small part of me that had wished for his redemption.

Of course, now that hope was crushed, grounded into dust because of my secret being put out there in the open like that.

Damn you Jake. I hope you die a thousand painful deaths, I thought with much spite.

To think that Jake had actually had the nerve to spout all that out loud like he had the right to! I felt unfathomable rage towards the boy and whole heartedly wished for the boy to forever face karma in hopes that he will experience a fate worse than death.

However, after thinking this, I couldn't help but feel shocked towards my ruthlessness in how serious I was when I thought that. It wasn't like me at all to act like this, to become so hatful as to curse someone so, but, then again, I guess, considering the circumstance, it was but a reasonable emotional response on my part, to say the least.

I mean, the guy did just ruin my life, its only fair if the same thing happens to him, just on a whole other level of cruelty.

He deserved it anyways, for doing such an unforgivable act.

And in this lifetime, I really will never forgive Jake for what he's done to me, no matter how much he begs for forgiveness.

I was resolute on this matter, and no one will make me waver in this choice of mine.

However, I had other, much more serous matters to think about right now as I looked out front to see that our house was approaching at a steady pace.

My face immediately turned pale while I grew even more worried for what was to come as the car came to a stop in the driveway. My hands slowly unclenched from their grip on the seat, and I laid them down onto my lap. They trembled. My gaze turned away from the house, its domineering look bringing fear to me.

I absolutely didn't want to step one foot into that house, because I knew, that once I'm behind closed doors, anything could happen, and none of it will be see by others for their opportunity to interfere.

I could be beaten, and nobody would know.

I could be killed...

The atmosphere that plagued the both of us became even more unbarring, but I'd rather deal with it, then step one foot outside this car.

However, despite my obvious reluctance to move, my father wasn't going to have any of that.

"Get out," he said, his tone hard, and cold, in no way comforting, and only served to further confirm that I was in deep shit.

Afraid of increasing his rage even more so, I complied with his order and hesitantly open the car door and got. I shrugged my book bag onto my shoulder and began walking towards the door, my steps heavy, as if a large weight was pressing onto me.

My eyes flickered around as I sought out someone, anyone, who might be able to prevent me from going any farther, unfortunately, I had no such luck, and with one last resigned sigh, I quickened my pace and soon reached our front door.

Although I had the keys to this door, and could open it on my own, I was unwilling. I could only stare numbly at the door itself, fearful of it swallowing me whole.

I shook myself out of my daze when a hand slid past me and inserted a key into the door, startling me and my body shuddered once. I swallowed hard and watched as my father turned the door knob and pushed open the door, revealing darkness from within.

It was painfully obvious to me that my mother had yet to arrive, which meant that I was all alone in this house... with him.

I couldn't be more terrified.

Now there was no one who would be able to restrain my father. No one able to calm his raging heart.

And I had been secretly hopping for my mother to be home.

My face couldn't help but become downcast from this discovery. I had been betting on my mother being home, but now that I knew she wasn't, I became even more wary towards my fate from here on out.

"Get in, now!" Father said, irritation evident in his voice.

My breath became ragged as I reluctantly walked into the house. My eyes looked towards the stairs that would lead to my room in an almost begging matter, but before I could even move, my father's voice sounded from behind me, his words causing me to still and my face grew unsightly.

"Don't even think of locking yourself in your room. Get your ass over to the living room and sit yourself down onto the couch. Don't even think to move. I'll be back in a minute," Father growled as he pushed past me and headed for the kitchen.

A frown formed on my face as a knowing look entered my eyes. I knew full well what he was going to do. It was obvious to me that he was going to the kitchen for one purpose and one purpose only, and that was to grab a beer and get himself drunk.

The shock of finding out that I was gay was no doubt bringing his previously drunkard self in him back out again.

I only hope he won't get so drunk as to loss all sense of rationality and start attacking me irrationally, his mind so muddled and thoughts so focused on his anger, that he cannot think straight.

However, I also mentally prepared myself for such an outcome.

Throwing my bag onto the floor and taking a seat onto the couch, I then searched around for possible evasion routs in case my father did attack me.

Searching around, I also spotted a few potential weapons if a battle did break out between us.

After doing so, I could only wait to see what my father would do.

The minutes passed, and with each passing one, the more tense I grew, to the point where my whole body was stiff from how much tension was in me.

My eyes were glued in the direction of the kitchen. My mind screamed for him to get over he already and stop keeping me in such suspense, just because I couldn't take the mental strain anymore. The amount of stress that had filled my body caused me to be on edge, majorly so.

Finally, after what seemed like a long while later, he appeared from around the corned and made his way towards the living room, a beer in his hand. It was already halfway empty.

Scanning over my farther, I made a quick judgment based on how he was acting, as well as appearance wise and could tell from a glance that at least my father still retained his mind, and that he hadn't drowned himself in alcohol just yet.

This realization allowed me to breath out in slight relief for now. For the moment, there was one less thing to worry about for now at least.

As I anxiously look at my father, I could only guess at what he would do.

My father stopped a few feet from me, before glancing at me emotionlessly, his eyes as cold as could be. It was impossible to tell what he was thinking.

The next thing he did surprise me.

He held out his hand, the one that wasn't carrying the bottle, and said, "Give it to me."

"What?" I questioned, confusion evident in my voice.

Give what?

"Your phone!" Father hissed with annoyance. "Give it to me."

Hesitantly, I reached into my pocket and withdrew my phone from out of my pocket.

Although I had only a vague feeling on why he wanted my phone, I could only hope that I was wrong in this aspect as I handed it to him.

I believed he would delete Nathan from my contacts; however, what he did was worse.

"I'm taking this from you. I don't want you contacting that faggot anymore. That includes at school, you got it!" Father said, pocketing my phone into his back pocket.

Shock and anger filled me from his words alone, not to mention his actions. "What!?"

"That boy is the cause for all this. He's influenced you. If it weren't for him, you wouldn't he such disgusting thoughts," Father spat with contempt.

I became livid, and disregarding any former fear, my anger fueling me in my actions, I jumped to my feet and faced my father. "Shut up. Just... shut the fuck up with that bullshit. I was the one who approached him first!"

"Don't," Father warned, his eyes widening from my outburst as rage was visible on his face.

"And stop calling him a faggot. He's gay, so what, I am t-"

"Enough!" Father shouted and threw the bottle to the ground, where it shattered and liquid flew everywhere, soaking the floor.

My mouth immediately snapped shut and fear was evident on my face and I backed up a few paces, caution filling me as I put distance between us and prepared for the possibility of him attacking me.

"You are not a faggot, that boy's just led you astray. He's the devil's spawn and he's been bewitching you, that's all. We'll fix this, we'll make this right," Father reasoned, seeming to believe his own words.

"We'll? We'll!?" I laughed, "You can't fix this, because there's nothing to fix. I'm not like some broken toy that you can just glue together and everything will be alright. No, that's not how it works!"

I threw my arms open as I scoffed at my father, causing a deep scowl to form on his face.

"You!" Father's face grew red with anger and he raised his hand up as if he was going to slap me.

My heart started with fear; however, I didn't let my emotions show on my face, and instead stood straight and gave him a hard glare. "Try it. I dare you," I said lowly.

My father's face contorted as he struggled to control his rage. Finally, after what seemed like a long while, he lowered his hand and took a step back, as if to regain his composure.

"Go to your room," he said softly not long after.

I didn't stick around for another second and quickly snatched up my bag and took off for the stairs; however, my father's next words had me pausing by the first step.

"I meant what I said. I don't want you having any contact with that boy, even at school."

"And what if I told you I have classes with him," I retorted harshly, my hand tightening around my book bags strap.

"Then don't speak to him. If I find out that you've made any sort of contact with him, then the both of you will regret it. And don't even think of trying to sneak around and find him, I've got eyes everywhere," he said, and I knew from the tone of his voice, that his words were true.

Deep fear rooted in me from those words he said, and I wondered what exactly he would do to not only me, but Nathan too, if he did indeed find out that I make contact with Nathan.

However, I didn't stay to find out as I ran up the stairs as fast as I could, skipping a step or two as I did.
