Jeno's eyes were wide open as he stared at Renjun's closed one.

A few seconds later Renjun pulled away from Jeno and then smiled softly.

Jeno's heart thumped quickly, " I...I..." he shut up Renjun released his pheromones to calm Jeno, but the younger's mind seemed to shut.

Jaemin came back to see two frozen boys looking at each other.

Jeno whispered something, it was so low that nobody caught it, but what did catch everyone of guard were the big fat tears that gushed through younger's eyes.

He covered his face with his hands and mumbled something.

" Je..no ... Jeno, honey?" Renjun panicked.

Jaemin walked closer, he grabbed Jeno's wrist and pulled them way from his face.

" Baby boy, why are you crying?" He questioned.

Jeno cried hysterically, his breath wavered as he choked on his cried. Jaemin glared at Renjun to get off younger.

" Breathe, I want you to breathe and tell me what you were speaking." Jaemin tried to calm Jeno.

Jeno shifted his gaze to his hands, " I am.... I... I'm not a homewrecker, it was a mistake! I swear! " Renjun's heart ached.

" Oh honey, please calm down. You're not wrecking anyone's home."  Jaemin coaxed.

He picked Jeno in his arms and sat younger on his lap. The alpha wiped younger's tears and smiled gently at him.

Renjun stayed exactly where he was until Jaemin patted the couch indicating his omega to come closer.

" I'm sorry if Renjun hurt your feelings. It was not his attention, he can be impatient at times and I'm sorry for that. I know you're probably experiencing the worst day of your life and it was not the right thing for Renjun to come at you. Once again, I'm really sorry." Jaemin rubbed his fingers around Jeno's face. Shifting them behind younger's neck he pulled him closer so that omega's head rested on his chest.

Jeno closed his eyes wrapped his arms around Jaemin. He inhaled the alpha's scent and relaxed in his embrace.

" However, kissing you was not a mistake."

Jeno lifted his head up, he was confused. Why would Jaemin allow HIS mate to kiss someone else and not be mad about it.

Renjun smiled softly and patted Jeno's head.

" What... do you mean?"

" Uh... we like you."

Jeno's brows furrowed.

"Me?" Jeno whispered.

"Yes."

"No..."

Now, it was the couple's turn to frown.

"What is it?" Renjun asked.

" You shouldn't! It's wrong! You are mates... you shouldn't like me."

"But both of us like you. We can't control our feelings."

Renjun said.

"You are our love at first sight."

" No..No..No!" Jeno quickly stood up as he rushed to the door bare feet, he didn't care about anything, without realising he ran out of the house.

He couldn't take it, the confession. He was scared of his own feelings. He was scared, yet a part of him was happy about it. Half of it was against the idea.

Jeno's lungs burned and the pain in his ribs grew hundred folds. He didn't know where he was as he sprinted out of the house without any sense of direction. He stopped once he was far away from their place and he placed his hands on his knees as his chest heaved.

Tears stream down his face. He didn't know why he was reacting this way. It was for the first time someone had confessed their feelings for him, he should have felt happy, he was, but still it seemed forbidden.

" Hey, what a sweet smelling omega! You seem lonely." A middle aged man approached Jeno.  The man stumbled but kept coming closer.

Jeno backed a little, he looked around, it seemed like an ally. He was trapped.

" Stop! St...stop!"

The man got closer and closer to Jeno with each step, "Ah, what a sweet smelling omega. It would be an honour to fuck you and fill you up with my ba-"

Jeno stepped on something and fell back he was scared he covered his face, he thought that the man would jump at him.  He looked up when he noticed that the man hadn't completed his sentence and there was a pin drop silence after a loud thud.

He saw the man layed on the floor in a pool of his own blood.

He gasped.

His body trembled.

Was he going to die?

" I have heard that when people die from blood loss their brain stays conscious for at least eight hours... Well, I'm not a doctor. I ain't bidding on that."

What will happen to Jisung?

Where will he live and with whom?

There were billions of thoughts rushing through his mind.

He should've accepted their confession, he wouldn't be in this situation that way.  He cried silently, he heard foot steps.

What a miserable way to die.

Nobody would know what happened to him.

"Alpha...alpha~" he cried silently yearning for Jaemin.

He screamed when he felt something touch him.

"Calm down, Jeno." It was a familiar voice but Jeno thrashed in stranger's embrace.

"Baby boy, it's me. Please calm down!" Jeno pulled away, he looked at Jaemin's face and cried in relief.

"Alpha!" He cried out.

Jeno wrapped his arms around Jaemin and sobbed his cries filled the alley. He went limp in alpha's arms .

" Are you okay, baby? Did he touch you ? Hurt you?" The omega shook his head.

Jaemin sat quietly and released his pheromones to calm Jeno a little.

Jaemin carefully picked Jeno and carried him home.

" you shouldn't have left house like this! Have you learned your lesson? It's your second time sprinting out of the house in a day!" Jaemin growled, Jeno whimpered, his alpha was angry at him.

Wait...... his? His alpha?

" You're bare feet, your clothes are showing too much of your skin!" Jaemin started.

"I won't let any other people see what is only meant for me to see!"

He pinched younger's thigh.

Jeno yelped.

Jaemin growled at Jeno the said boy shivered as he tightened his arms around the alpha.

"Why the heck did you run out, do you have a death wish?"

Jeno didn't apologise he was tired, he just rested his head on Jaemin's shoulder as they walked back home.

"I will lock you down If You pull that stunt again, are you sure you're not hurt?" Jeno ignored the voices.

Just scented the alpha and closed his eyes.

" The swelling looks really bad, I hope it's not completely cracked, it could damage his lungs. We need an X-ray."

"put this ice pack on the area!"

Jeno felt someone caressing his hand while some were moving on his body.

He tried to open his eyes but it was really bright. His face scrunched at the light.

" You're awake!" Jeno heard a voice.

He looked in the direction, Renjun's worried eyes hovered about over younger. 

Jeno tried to get up but a sharp pain shot through his chest, he gasped for air.

Renjun sprang up from his seat and helped Jeno.

" I'll bring water, you need to have pain killers."

" Hyung! What is this ? Are you trying to give me a heart attack? Why do you always run out of the house? Are you a professional sprinter ?" Jisung wailed, Chenle trapped Jisung in his arms before the boy could throw his hands on Jeno.

" Yah! Do you have a death wish? Should I kill you?" Jisung glared at Chenle. 

"let go!" He ordered the alpha.

Jisung slapped Jeno's arm, " Ouch!"

Chenle pulled him away once again, Jisung let a breath out and began to pinch Chenle's arms.

The alpha groaned but still didn't let go.

Renjun came back with a glass of water, Jaemin followed him.

" How are you feeling, now?" He questioned.

Jeno remained silent.

His head was spinning , " Here, have these. It will help with the pain."

Jeno gulped at the size of the tablet. Renjun urged him to take it. Younger took it and swallowed it.he gulped entire glass of water.

Jeno mumbled small thank you.

" You should sleep, now. Your body needs as much rest as it can get." Jaemin stated.

Chenle immediately left the room with Jisung.

"Good night, honey."

As renjun was about to leave, Jeno grabbed his wrist.

Renjun's eyes fell on Jeno , his face was flushed but his eyes full of fear.

" Can you please stay with me, tonight? I'm scared." Jeno whimpered.

Renjun nodded as he got under the blanket.

Jaemin stood awkwardly beside the bed. " I guess, I'll leave. Good night, babies." He laughed.

Jeno bit his lips as he gathered all the courage, " You can stay too."

Jaemin's smile widened.

" If you say so..." Jaemin closed the door and turned off the lights. He laid beside Jeno, trapping the boy in the middle.

" You're safe now. Sleep tight." Jaemin mumbled in his ear.
