Jeno hadn't seen Jaemin and Renjun since a month. He had taken up several part time jobs and was busy all the time.

He was purposely avoiding them.

Although, he didn't understand Chinese, he knew the lady disliked them as she threw dirty glances at them. He didn't have courage to ask what she said. Deep down, he knew the reason behind her anger.

Today, was his day off after three weeks of work and he was doing his laundry. He was hand washing his clothes to save money but after this he had to look for a new apartment. This one was expensive since he was the only one living here now.

He carried the basket of wet clothes to the roof and wrung them before putting them on the cloth hangers. He clipped them and went downstairs.

He took a quick shower and got ready to look for a new apartment. He ramed around the area to see if there were any rooms available.

Around one in the noon, he got a call from his part time asking if he could fill in for a person. He sighed but agreed nonetheless.

Leaving his apartment quest in between he headed to a stationary shop.

" I'm here." Jeno informed the owner.

" Right, thank you for coming on such a short notice, Jeno." The lady said.

" It's okay, I was free at the moment." He sighed.

" Okay, so there are new boxes that we received today, can you please arrange the contents on the shelves?"

" Yes, I can do that." Jeno went to the back of the store where all the received goods were placed.

He tore the tape off of the first box and took out the bundle of notebooks another box had rims of sheets.

Little by little he took them to the front and placed them on their respective places.

He kept coming back and forth, organising everything.

He sat down on the stool at back to catch his breath and drink some water.

Thoughts about what his future would hold scared him.

He went to owner.

" Ma'am, I have some questions... I'd appreciate, if you could answer some, no pressure though." Jeno told.

" Sure, bud. Ask 'em!"

" Uh... it may sound weird but... what happens when people are really old, that they neither have jobs nor savings, also not their own houses..." Jeno's question confused the lady.

Why was a young boy like him asking such questions?

" I'm not sure, since it rarely happens, but I think there are certain NGOs and government organisations that take in old people and look after them." Lady was unsure herself.

Jeno thanked her and went back to his position, he sipped his water and stared out the window. The street was filled with people.

He bit his lips, how long could he keep this up? He should start looking for such organisations.

" Um, excuse me?" A voice pulled him out of his thoughts.

" Yes? I'm sorry, what can I help you with?" He immediately stood up and walked up to the person.

" I'm looking for stapler pins..." the young boy spoke.

" Ah, yes. Please, follow me." Jeno took him to different part of the store.

The boy thanked him, " please, call me out if you need help finding something else." With that he went back to his place and stood against the wall.

His shift ended an hour later, it was already around seven in the evening and he had to buy groceries.

He went to the store and bought a packet of rice, red chilli paste , sesame oil, green onions, tomatoes, his eyes caught the sight of lychees, they were red and fresh. He loved them, he immediately grabbed a bunch. They were expensive but he couldn't resist them, they were so delicious.

He checked his things out and carried the bags. He was most excited about the lychees.

He sighed, the day was over. The only free day he had was over and he hadn't accomplished anything.

Jeno kept everything in his room then went straight to the rooftop to collect his clothes.

While taking things out of the carry bags he realised that he had forgotten about milk.

He quickly went to the nearest convenience store and bought two small tetra packs of milk.

He payed for them and left.

He walked slowly on his way back to the apartment, Jeno noticed that he always surrounded himself with negative thoughts, he should stop that. He didn't want to go to a therapist. He didn't have an insurance.

"Excuse me for a second, are you Jeno?" Jeno looked at the person. It was a middle aged man, good looking, with soft features.

He dressed nicely and definitely didn't belong in this neighbourhood.

" Yes, sir?"  How did this person know his name? He thought.

"Nice to meet you, Jeno. I'm Renjun and Chenle's dad, Hua Lian." Jeno's eyes widened.

He bowed several times and greeted the man. 

" Nice to meet you too, sir." He said.

Why was he here, was he going to yell at him too?

" Please, would you like to come upstairs?" Hua Lian nodded and trailed behind Jeno.

Jeno opened the door wide for Hua Lian to enter.

" Please, sit here." He placed a recently bought plastic chair in front of the other person.

" Please give me a second, I'll be back!" He went to the hall where a water dispenser was placed and filled a glass with filtered water.

" Please..." he served the water to Hua Lian.

" Thank you."

Other took few sips of the water and placed it back on the tray.

Jeno bit his lip as he stared at the floor, " Wha-at brings you here?" His voice cracked.

Jeno mentally prepared himself to be yelled at.

" How are you, Jeno?" The question surprised him.

" I-I am fine, thank you."

" That's great! So... I'm here because... I want to apologise on behalf of my mother in law."

Jeno didn't know what to say. He kneeled on the floor in front of Hua lian.

" She is a bitch, and doesn't like anyone except Renjun's father and herself. She also has tendency of interfering others' relationships and ruining them."

Jeno looked at Hua lian as he bitched about his mother in law.

The older omega laughed at younger's expression. " Oh don't give me that look, I'm know it's not everyday that you come across a stressed out omega in his late thirties, crying about his mother in law's deeds but let's be honest and agree that she should die."

Jeno was speechless.

Hua lian got up from the chair and kneeled in front of Jeno, he held younger's face in his palms.

" You're are so adorable, both you and Jisung. Oh, he is such a lovely boy." Hua lian said.

" I know it's hard but I want you to forget about everything my mother in law said."

" actually, she was not speaking Korean, so I didn't understand her at all." Hua lian laughed at that.

" That's wonderful!" He clapped his hands. "She'd make up her own language just to prove her superiority. It's nothing knew. When I first met her, she talked to me in English."

Jeno giggled a bit.

" Have you had dinner?" Jeno shook his head. " Will you please join us? Jisung will be there too. Please..."

Hua lian is so cute! Jeno thought.

He agreed to go out with them.

" I'm sorry that you had to go through her drama... I'd poison her but, I don't wanna go to jail. She is so snobby and I'll mannered who thinks that the world revolves around her! I don't like her. I have three more mother in laws and they are so sweet!"

Jeno followed him out to the car, Hua lian opened the car door for him and got in the passenger seat. 

There was another person in the car. Alpha to be precise.

"Good evening, sweetheart. I'm Jun."

" He is little Chenle's dad."

" Good evening, sir! My name is Jeno." Jeno bowed his head a little.

The drive to the restaurant was short.  Hua Lian grabbed Jeno's hand and took him inside. Jeno was underdressed.  He wore a simple white button up shirt and black trouser.

He was nervous about the situation.

" Where is he? Isn't he supposed to be here already?"

" Renjun, stop whining. He said, he had a surprise for you."

"But dad..." His father looked at him sternly.

Renjun sulked in his seat. His family had planned a family dinner all of Renjun's fathers, brothers were present.  Main reason for this get-together was to meet Jisung and Jeno.

Everyone knew about the grandma's visit and none of them were too happy about it. So, they decided that it would be best for them to apologise properly.

Renjun was first to spring up from his seat at the sight of his 'mom'. What surprised him the most was a figure behind his mom.

He took Jeno in his arms, " I missed you! We went to your apartment so many times, you weren't there and your phone is still unreachable!"

Renjun was close to choking Jeno.

As if sensng it, Hua lian pried Renjun off Jeno.

Jeno was taken back by the presence of so many alphas in the room. He grabbed Renjun's hand tightly trying to hide himself.

Jaemin also hugged Jeno and pulled him to sit between them. They introduced him to everyone.

He learned everyone's names, Kun and Lucas were Renjun and Chenle elder brother. Kun was eldest of all sons followed by Lucas, Renjun and Chenle.

Hua lian gave birth to them all, Jun was Chenle's dad, Xiexin was Lucas' father, Zhang was Kun's father and Cheng was Renjun's father.

All of them had the dinner and apologised to the brothers.

There was no doubt that both omegas were happily accepted into the family.

Jeno and Renjun would, once in a while, grab Jeno's hand and squeeze it gently whenever someone asked him anything.

When it was time for everyone to leave, Jeno was pulled back by two people who dragged him with them.

" You scared us Jenjen," Renjun whispered as he sat in the car. " I thought you'd never see us. Even Jisung could get a hold of you."

" It's not like that!" Jeno tried to comfort other boy. " I have finally got part time jobs. I must have been at one of those when you visited my place." He lied. He was definitely avoiding them.

"I'm extremely sorry about that day. My mama fought with dad and told him to keep his mom in check."

Jeno got nervous, was he already causing trouble in their family?

"Let's go, now." Jaemin said quickly changing the topic.

They went to couple's house.
