"Jiji, now that you're free, would you accompany me to the market?" Jeno asked younger omega. Who nodded excited," Yes! I'd love to! It has been so long that we've gone somewhere together. I missed this." Jisung replied.

Jeno smiled at him, "I will try to do this as often as possible. Get ready then. We will spend whole day together."

Both boys changed their clothes and dressed up quickly. They were excited to go out. Jeno glanced at his shopping list again and grabbed his bank passbook.

" let's go, hyung." Jisung said. Jeno nodded as he slipped his shoppers bag on his shoulder.

" Baby, I was wondering if you need something important for your school. I mean I don't quite know what things are required by a high school kid. So, if there is any thing that is even slightly important, tell me. Okay?" Jeno said.

" Yes, hyung." Jisung smiled at Jeno. His eyes shined brightly as he grabbed Jeno's hand in his and gripped it tightly.

" let's go!" He said.

" first of all wear your jacket."

Jisung knew that his brother earns money wholeheartedly and a lot of hard work and effort is involved. There were so many things that were bare necessities for a high school student but, Jisung never confessed that. He was grateful for everything he had and whatever his brother got him. He made sure to express gratitude to his brother.

They walked together in the streets in the cold weather. Jisung clung to his brother. They talked about random things and cherished every minute of it.

They made their first stop at the bank so that he could transfer money to Yoongi and debit out some cash for shopping.

Jisung waited patiently for his hyung outside the building, his gaze fell on a hoarding, it was a phone advertisement. He sighed as he read the features and the price. He turned around. One day, he thought.

Jeno put the money in his wallet and walked out.

"Sorry for the long wait. Let's go." Jeno grabbed Jisung's arm and wrapped it around his.

They visited a lot of shops, Older boy often glanced at Jisung to know if the younger was eyeing something or not. He stopped at a footwear store, "come on." He whispered.

Jeno picked a shoe for Jisung and held it in front of him, "You like it?" He asked.

Jisung nodded his head, he grabbed the shoe and looked at the price, "Hyung, we should go to another shop." Jeno put the shoe back on the isle. They left the shop.

" Hyung, look! Let's go there." They entered a shop that was quite small but it was neat.

" Felix told me that they have cheap stuff but they are good quality." Jeno nodded in agreement and looked around the shop.

Once again, Jeno grabbed a shoe and checked its price, '₩15,000'. He checked the quality once he was satisfied with the price tag.

"Jiji, here, look at it. You should try them, I think these are comfortable." Jisung agreed as he examined it, " It looks really comfortable, hyung. But I think you should get them for yourself. I have shoes."

" So do I." Jeno retorted. " I don't wanna argue with you so you better try them. If not, I know your shoe size, I'll buy it anyway. The choice is yours and you should be happy rather than arguing with me, idiot. Tell me that you're grateful for these. When someone buys stuff for you, you should accept it. I know you're also worried about expenses but that is not your problem."

" okay, fine!" Jisung sighed because he knew that he could not win against Jeno. They paid for the shoes and left the shop. Older brother checked the list. Next stop was the grocery store.

" Do you want to eat anything special? Anything in your mind, I know eating congee and porridge all the time is boring and not healthy."

"Anything that is easy to cook is fine with me. I don't really have a problem with eating congee. I like it, it's simple." Jeno glanced at Jisung's face.

" Baby, I think it's my fault. I always make bland food and don't buy enough ingredients to cook a proper meal. I am sorry, I'm always busy and do not pay much attention to you, I'm extremely sorry for that. I want to see you grow and become a better person."

"Hyung, you don't have to apologise. You are doing it for us, I can understand that it is not easy. You are so hardworking Hyung, you deserve a break from this. It is not Healthy." Jeno ran his finger through Jisung's hair and patted it gently.

"You've become so wise, I can't believe that you're the same boy who used to run around the house in a diaper. Ji, I'm so grateful that you are my brother." Jeno's eyes welled up with tears and he quickly turned his head so that Jisung couldn't see it.

Younger brother squeezed elder's arm. "I love you, hyung."

" I love you too, baby."

Both of them bought a lot of stuff at the grocery store as there was a sale going on. Jeno couldn't help but buy extra things for Jisung to later munch on. His eyes fell on a milk tea, he grabbed the box and put it in the cart. He was excited to try it. Hyuck had introduced it to him. It was a treat. Whenever he felt like he did something incredible that he was proud of... he'd treat himself to it.

The sight was cute. He'd drink it sip by sip and taking all the time in the world to finish it. He cherished it, one of the few things.

Jeno lost the track of money he had and put a lot of stuff in his cart. Unfortunately, when he began to check his things out he observed how much stuff he had put in his cart without actually realising it. The poor baby had to put back a lot of stuff back to their places along with his milk tea.

He was disappointed.

" Hyung, you like milk tea, don't you?" Jisung asked as they left the store.

Jeno nodded quietly. "You should have bought it."

"Next time." Jeno smiled cutely.

Next stop was a store that sold blankets. Since there was no heating system in their room, it was freezing cold at night. It was sometimes unbearable to even stay in the room, the brothers just cocooned inside their blanket surviving off of their body heats. Jeno finally decided that it was the best time to buy more blankets that were thicker.

At the store he saw the different sort of blankets and heating mattresses. He badly wanted to buy one. They were expensive, Jeno fought an internal battle. He glanced at Jisung who was busy looking through the blankets. If he bought the mattress right now it would leave a big dent in his pocket. It also meant that he wouldn't be able to buy anything else.

He rubbed his head and called Jisung, " Baby, which one out of these should we get?" He looked at younger boy expectantly.

"Hyung? We just need to buy the blankets. These are not ..." Jisung paused to look at the price.

"....affordable." His eyes widened as he mumbled it.

" Hyung, we shouldn't buy them. It is just a toy, honestly. Come on now." He lead Jeno to another section.

" I will buy one mattress anyway, whether you like it or not. I think it is very necessary."

December to January, most omegas hibernated. An omega's physiology was very different from a beta or an alpha. They had trouble regulating their body temperatures so most of them went into hibernation during winters. They stayed inside their house, ate and slept all day. It was like a vacation for them.

But few unfortunate beings had to venture out in order to earn bread for their families, just like Jeno. It was dangerous though. It was usually advised for the omegas to stay at home.

All over the news, deaths due to hypothermia were common among omegas. Jeno was scared as well.

Every night he fell sleep with a fear nagging him in the back of his head, whether he'd wake up in the morning or not.

So he decided to buy the mattress and the blankets. Next problem was to carry the mattress. Luckily, the owner of the shop offered to deliver the mattress. Jeno thanked the owner and left the shop.

He was content.

Both brothers were done with the shopping. They decided that it was the best choice to go back home.

At home, older omega decide to prepare for a meal. He began to cut vegetables and soaked rice.

"I'll make a soup today and rice with it." Jisung nodded and helped his brother.

Later, the mattress was delivered by the delivery person.

Jeno cleaned the floor and mopped it. He laid the new mattress on top of the previous one and put the blankets on top.

"Get in." He urged his brother.

Jisung shook his head, "Hyung, I'll cook tonight. You should take a shower." Jeno sighed at the look of determination on younger omega.

He took a quick shower and by the time he was done, Jisung had cooked the dinner.

"That was quick !" Jeno complemented his brother. The latter just nodded and served the elder. Both of them were really grateful for the meal and both of their presence together made it even more special.

Jeno washed and dried the utensils. He kept them back at their places and did few small things to tidy up the room. " Hyung, please come and join me. I need your warmth."

" Hyung, I feel bad, now. You should have bought that milk tea. You rarely treat yourself. You should do that more often." Jisung whined.

Jeno giggled as he got under the blanket, he got comfortable in it. He took a deep breath and released it. "This is so good. I think, I am in paradise."

" Thank you, hyung." Jisung sincerely said and kissed Jeno's cheek.

"Hyung?"

"Hmm.."

"I don't know whether I should ask you this or not but have you ever found an alpha interesting or has anyone ever tried to court you?" Jeno stared at jisung. His cheeks heated up.

"Oh baby you're growing up!" He cooed at Jisung

"Just answer!" Younger lad whined

Jeno sighed, "No."

"What?"

"No, I haven't." He repeated

"Hyung! Speaking properly."

"I have never tried to court anybody nor anyone has tried to do the same for me." He whispered, not looking at his brother. He couldn't meet his eyes. He felt pathetic.

Jisung gasped, "Are you serious? No, you're lying!"

"I'm not lying." Jeno was embarrassed, usually people around his age found suitable partners but he was different.

"You are the prettiest omega ever. I can't believe that nobody has ever been interested in you." Jisung hugged his brother.

Jeno just smiled softly at his brother, his eyes swelled up with tears. He hugged Jisung back tightly. Jisung rubbed his back softly.

"It's alright, hyung. You'll find your mate soon... I'll always be with you."

Jeno sobbed harder, " ev-everyone has one! This, this is s-so unfair! I-I just want someone to-to lean on. I don't want a rich person or an alpha. I can live with an omega too but nobody has ever shown interest in me."Jeno spoke as Jisung wiped his tears away.

" Hyung, you're the sweetest person. You'll definitely find someone and I promise you that you won't regret anything."

" Hyuckles, Yoongi hyungie, and other staff members all have mates. They live together and... and are so happy, always cherished by their mates. They look forward to go home. Their mates look out for them, and bring the world to them."

"Mark Hyung..." he continued, " Hyuckle's mate, he doesn't like me."

"Why?"

"He doesn't like it when I hang out with Hyuckle. He probably thinks that I hang out with Hyuck to leech off of him. I swear, I have no intention like that. I have never borrowed money from him. I know my place too. He is my friend who's mate doesn't like me because he thinks that I live off of their money. I have borrowed money from different people, usually Yoongi Hyung but never Hyuck. He occasionally gives me some stuff that he gets for free with his other things but that is the most I accept. I make sure to never ask any favours from him because it will only give Mark hyung a reason to fight Hyuck. I don't want that." Jisung frowned at his older brother.

" That Mark guy sounds like a bitch to me. Why would anyone hate a cute little gem?"

"oh! Wait!" Jeno suddenly interrupted their conversation and got up from the bed he quickly opened his shoppers bag and took out a box.

" I got this for you earlier, I wanted to give it to you later but never mind." He handed jisung the box and got in the bed.

" Hyung!" Jisung whined. "You should not spend so much money on me. What is this? You can't buy a milk tea for yourself but you keep spoilimg me so much." He opened the package and squealed.

" New stationery!" Jisung hugged Jeno tightly once again and didn't let him go for a goog minute.

" Thank you, thank you so much for this hyung. I have no words I'm so thankful for everything that you do for me. Ah! New stationery. I love it hyung. I needed new refills anyway, I was just stalling. Thank you so much ! I will try them out in the morning. Ghahhh!! Thank you! I love you! I love you! I love you !" Jisung gushed Jeno with so much love, while the older brother just laughed at him.

" i love you too baby. I love you more than I express."

Both of them chatted and spent a quality time since they didn't have to get up early in the morning.
