2 years after the war ended

MATTHEW POV

"Every since the war ended, you have been acting up. So if you will please just tell me what's wrong" Alex ask quietly.

Ever since the war ended I've been different. I've been having nightmares, meltdowns, angry out lashes. Anything you can name that has to do with crying or yelling that's it.

"It's called ptsd. it stands for post traumatic stress disorder. It's caused by any event of sever stress or disturbance such as war or sever injuries" I explain with out looking at him.

Our children run in and jump onto my lap causing my gasp. I chuckle. Alex sits down and pulls our daughter Lili onto his lap leaving our son Jayson in mine.

"Daddy are feeling better yet" ask Jayson. I smile at him only because he doesn't know what I did that caused me to be this way.

"Yes daddy is feeling much better now" I say looking into his bright blue eyes.

"Father are going to stay home with us to day" Lili ask Alex.

They call Alex father do to the fact that he now is pretty much God. And they call me daddy just because you know all kids call their fathers that.

"Hey" I hear Apollo call from the door.

"Uncle Apollo" the kids scream running to him. Both hug him at the same time.

"Hey aren't we meeting Kat, Jay, and Mars down at the Gateway" he ask. I nod.

"we were just about to leave" I say grabbing Alex's hand. We all teleport to the Gateway café and meet Kat and the rest of them.

Lili attacking Kat. She seem to love her. Kat is the god mother of the children but the kids just call her their auntie.

Jayson practically tackles Jay. Jay seems to love him probably since we named him after Jayson, Alex's ex and Jay's cousin. Jayson seems to love him just as equally.

Alex pulls me closer to him and wrap my arm around him and rest my head on his shoulder. I smile as I watch the kids play.

"We did good" I say.

"Yes we did" he says. He kisses the top of my head.

"Tomorrow can we go see my mother" I ask.

"Of course" he say.

My mother died two weeks after the war ended. She was shot while walking out to her car after work.

"I wonder if she knows where my father is" I say. He shrugs.

I still have let go of the fact that Lucifer knew where he was. I asked Kat of course but she knew nothing of him. I wonder if he's even dead.

I look around and think about how much has changed since I killed Lucifer.

Mars and Apollo now can be together and it not be forbidden. Kat is a happy ruler of the underworld which is now not as unhappy of a place. Jay is now happily married. And most importantly Alex. He is now a father and well suited ruler of Heaven.

"I've done good haven't I" I say loud enough for everyone to hear. Even though I only meant it for Alex.

"You've done more than good you've changed the world" Kat says trying to braid Lili's curly blonde hair.

"You've changed the way people think about what's right and wrong" Mars says cuddling with Apollo.

"Matthew with out you we wouldn't be living this day" says Jay playing in the water fountain with Jayson.

"Matthew without you I'd be lost because of the amazing things that you have done not only for the world but for me" Alex says embracing me tightly.

"Daddy without you me and Jayson would still be in that orphanage" Lili say with her blue eyes reflecting the sunlight.

I look over at Jayson and see him laughing as Jay pours a handful of water into his short blonde hair. I chuckle.

I look at Mars and Apollo and see them happier than ever. The sight of them makes me happier than anything. I smile.

I look at Kat enjoying the time she is spending with Lili. I think of what she was once like. I smil at the rough of how much she has changed.

I start crying. I've done so much good in everyone's life. I smile at what I seem. Alex kisses me and wipes away my tears.

"I love you" I whisper.

"I love you to" he whispers back. I kiss him.
