Jimin's POV
"Hope you come back with your Mr Right," Taehyung whispered before winking at me.
"I'm still not too sure about this Tae."
"Just go according to your heart, and don't think too much."
"But-"
"See you in an hour!" he said before waving me goodbye.
And that's how the seven of us split up at the cross junction of the streets. I saw how Hoseok hyung pulled Yoongi hyung into a shop full of stuffed toys; while Taehyung and Kookie went to shop for caps. Jin hyung and Namjoon hyung joined in the act by looking at some decorations along the road.
While I, stood in the middle of the shops, as I realised how this is actually going according to Namjoon hyung's plan. It was a plan that they told me in the restaurant just now, a secret plan kept from Kookie and Yoongi hyung.
And here I am, wandering on the streets. It has been five minutes since we split up. It was Namjoon hyung's idea, saying something like 'If you're really destined to be with someone, fate will bring you to him'.
I don't really get the sentence, but I understand the rules of this 'game' - the one I meet within the next hour shall be my true love. Be it Jungkookie or Yoongi hyung...I'll let god decide for me. I don't know if this is a good idea, but I guess, at least I wouldn't need to make this cruel decision myself...
I did not walk into any of the shops, neither did I specifically look out for anyone - the black hair one or the blonde hair one. I simply walked aimlessly on the road, not even taking note of the time.
Meanwhile...
Jungkook's POV
"Let's shop for an hour before going home" was what Namjoon hyung said and now, I'm here, alone. V hyung was the one who pulled me into a shop that sells a whole lot of cap but after a few minutes, he claimed that he needed to shit and quickly ran to the toilet.
And now, he just left me here alone, wandering on the streets. The area wasn't crowded, and luckily, with my cap, nobody recognises me - it's a pretty right choice for me to not wear timberlands and a white shirt today.
After spending thirty minutes in a store that sells white t-shirt, I came out and immediately, I spotted Yoongi hyung outside the next store. Before I could even flip a coin on whether I should approach him, he had turned back and we made eye contact.
And naturally, our next moves were to walk towards each other.
"Hyung," I uttered.
"Seems like you bought something already," he smiled, pointing to the shopping bag in my hands.
"Ne, I bought some shirts."
"All white shirts I assume?"
"Ne," I smiled embarrassingly as I scratched my head. As we walked together down the streets, I noticed the frown on Yoongi hyung's face and how it was not going away.
"Hyung, you looked troubled," I voiced out.
"Ah? Jinja?"
"Hmm...is there something in your mind?"
"Aniya. Err...just wondering, by chance, did you meet Jimin after we split up?"
"Aniyo, wae?"
"Ahhh," he nodded before turning away. He looked relieved upon hearing my answer, but his expression quickly turned into a troubled one.
"Wae yo hyung?" I asked again, "Is there anything..."
"I overheard their conversation."
"A-about?"
"This. This is a plan that Namjoon came out with, a plan to help Jimin to choose between you...and me."
"W-what do you mean hyung?"
"He said that Jimin should let fate decide who he should be with, and the one whom he meets within this hour, shall be his destined one."
"So...this is the final chapter of our story...and after one hour, we will know who will be with him, and who will not?"
Yoongi hyung nodded his head, "Well, I guess you can say that," he sighed, "But Kookie...what if you don't get to meet Jiminie, are you gonna give up like that?"
"If you ask me hyung, if I love Jimin hyung, my answer is Yes, I love him. But if you ask if I want to be with him, I...I don't know hyung."
"Wae?"
"I always thought that if he's with you, he will be much happier."
"That's what I thought too. That's why only Jimin knows how he truly should be with and everything's up to him to make a decision."
"But hyung can't, Jimin hyung would never choose between us. He want none of us to be hurt ever again."
"I know Kookie, I'm sure that's what he is thinking right now too. But like what Namjoon said, he must make a decision by today."
"Ne. And it's funny how Jimin hyung's mind goes from 'Can I love the both of them?' to 'Can I not hurt the both of them, even till the extent of not being together with them?'"
"But...can you promise me something, Kookie?"
"What hyung?"
"No matter who he choose, the both of us will always be this close."
"Definitely hyung!"
"And I'm sure Jimin will not expect us to meet each other instead."
"Ne hyung! Just we're fated together?" I chuckled.
"Of course! We're the lamb skewer buddies after all!"
Jimin's POV
I hid myself behind a group of tourists, while my eyes were glued on the duo in front. Yoongi hyung and Kookie are together, with smiles on their faces, how nice is this. I can't believe I really get to meet them, but meeting them together at once? Definitely not expecting that.
I saw how they waved goodbye to each other before splitting up again, with Kookie going to the left and Yoongi hyung going to the right, leaving me few metres behind them, not knowing which direction should I turn.
"Park Jimin, here's your chance. If you turn left, you'll meet Kookie, if you turn right, you'll meet Yoongi hyung. Now is the best time to make a decision. Left or right."
Aniyo, I stood rooted to the ground. I turned my head to look at how the two are disappearing among the crowd. If I chase after them, I might still be able to meet one of them. But the question is...who?
People said that they will have 7 minutes of flashback before they die, and I'm probably experiencing it way before that. Memories with Yoongi hyung began to appear in my mind.
Everything started when he confessed to me. At that moment, I really thought we were match-made in heaven. Everything and anything he says just sound so appealing, and his actions, I finally know why was I so deeply attracted to him.
Everything was perfect...until Jungkookie entered the story...
Kookie has been the biggest mystery in my life. Everyone knows that I'm obsessed with him, in a good way I hope. I did anything to get his attention, to see that glimpse of his smile, to experience that sweet 'hyung~' whenever he's annoyed. And the more he pushes me away, the closer I stick to him.
I thought I only treated him as a dongsaeng, I thought so, but I was wrong. I developed feelings for him, I fall for him so deeply that at one point I thought I could never leave without him.
And the climax of this romance movie came. Two awesome guy are loving me with all their heart, no matter how badly they're hurt, they're are willing to give me happiness. That's so cruel. This jerk here has to the privilege to choose who he wants to be with and break the other's heart?
I hate myself for being the bad guy but in fact, I'm the one who is hurting them with the things that I say and the decision that I choose.
~~~
Namjoon began to dial his number and put it on speaker. Once. Twice. Twentieth. He didn't picked up the call. Everyone looked at us other with a worried face. Nobody expected things to turn out like that. Everybody did not utter a sound.
Apart from Namjoon, the other five paced back and forth, racking their brains for possible reasons for Jimin's 'disappearance'. It has been fifteen minutes past their meeting time and Jimin was nowhere to be seen. Both Jungkook and Suga claimed that they did not see him too.
Finally, Jimin picked up the call. Immediately, everyone gathered around Namjoon who had his phone on speaker mode.
"Yoboseyo?"
"Jimin!! Where are you?" Namjoon asked frantically.
"I left."
"Wae yo? Why didn't you tell us?"
"I need to sort my feelings hyung."
"So where are you now? We'll come and find you."
"Aniyo hyung, I can't face you guys right now."
"No don't-"
Jimin sighed at the other end of the line, "Mianhe hyung," Jimin said before ending the call.
"Wait-"
"WHAT?!?" they said in chorus, "What was that?"
While Namjoon continued to spam Jimin with calls, only to end up in his voicemail, the others looked at each other with a blank face. "Something's wrong..." Jin said.
Suga's POV
All of us split us to Jiminie. The way he ended the call was just too weird. "Hyung, mianhe..." that sentence kept repeating in my mind. I usually don't trust in sixth sense but now, something tells me that Jimin's isn't up to something good.
At this moment, my phone rang. In the speed of light, I quickly answer the call, hoping so badly it's Jimin. But to my dismay, the maknae answered the call.
JK: Hyung, you found him?
SG: Aniyo.
JK: I have a bad feeling hyung.
SG: Me too.
JK: Will he...will hyung go and...
SG: Aniyo! Jimin won't be so irresponsible. He's not the type that will run away from problems.
JK: But hyung has not been in a good mood ever since our accident.
SG: I know. He blamed himself for that, he thinks it's all his fault, and that's why now, he escaped.
JK: Urghh why did things turn out like that?!?
SG: We pushed all the blames to him. We blame him for making us suffer, blame him for his indecisiveness, and blame him for toying with our feelings. But little did we know, actually, he's also in pain.
JK: We shouldn't have...I shouldn't have...
SG: Now is not the moment to point fingers, we need to find Jimin asap first.
JK: Ne hyung.
We ended the call. The sun has already set, the sky is already pitch dark and Jimin is still nowhere to be found. Every second past, my heart began to beat even faster. "Hyung...mianhe..." it sounded in my mind once again.
Finally, I arrived at the park. It was the park that we always hang out at night. And here, is one of the possible places that Jimin might be.
I fastened my pace, looking at every single corner of the park. No, not a single soul there. I began to run, running as fast as I could to cover the entire park, looking for a short guy with bright orange hair.
Indeed, I spotted one, sitting on a bench. His back view just looked too familiar, and I know it's him. Taking large but light steps towards him, I uttered, "Jiminie?"
