(A/N: Um, so hey. It has been like 4 years. I know, I know. Yet, here we are. I am actually updating. Sorry it took so long, I moved and, honestly, forgot about this story. I wanna see if I can start writing more. Sadly, this story is coming to an end. BUT. I have a ton of x reader stories in mind! So stay tuned~)

[Eren's POV]

I slowly gain consciousness and blink my eyes open a few times. Groaning and stretching carefully, my eyes trail down to the small frame curled up by my side, messy blonde hair covering my chest. I then turn my attention to my phone that is laid on top of his desk. I grab it and check the time. 9:37 am, too early. I lay it back down and look back down at the small blonde, this time, met with a sleepy, and dare I say, cute face. I smile down at Armin and run my fingers through his bed head and am rewarded by a small smile from him.

"Good morning." I purr out. He hums out what I can only assume is a 'good morning' response. I chuckle before laying my head into the pillow and gazing up at the ceiling. After a few moments of dozing in and out of thoughts, I feel the small frame squirm beside me before I am met with bright blue eyes. I gaze in to them for what seems like forever and am brought back to reality when the silence is broken by his sweet voice.

"Are you hungry?" the once sleepy, now fully awake, boy asks me. I nod my head with an amused smile.

"I would love pancakes with a side of you" I tease. He flares up, face turning tomato red. I try holding back a laugh and am met with a pillow smothering my face. I burst out into laughter, muffled by the pillow.

"You will get a single egg sir." I hear him exclaim. I move the pillow to be met by his ocean-colored eyes.

"As long as I can sit next to you while I eat them." He smiles at me, which I take as an agreement for my snarky comment. I sit up and stretch my arms over my head. Armin crawls over my lap and gets off the bed and walks out of the room. I shortly follow him out and follow him in to the kitchen. He makes his way to the fridge while I stand by the counter. I watch him grab creamer, cold coffee and milk.

"You are already wife material." I tease and make sure to annunciate the 'wife' part. He goes to a cabinet and grabs two cups.

"only if I am yours." He shoots back. This time I am the one to gain a deep red hue across my face. He turns and smiles at me. Our eyes meet for a second before I advert my gaze to the side. I hear Armin's sweet laughter, bringing butterflies to my stomach and heart. I don't know how, but I think I am in love. I gaze back at the blonde who is making two cups of iced coffee to start our morning. Our morning. That phrase rings through my head, but I can't seem to find why I love the sound of it. Armin places the cup of cold coffee in front of me with a smile. I nod and take it and place the cup to my lips, taking a sip. I close my eyes and enjoy the sweet taste.

"Thank you, dear." I breathe out softly. He responds with a hum and continues to cook breakfast. This is definitely the beginning of something amazing. I continue to drink my coffee and watch my breakfast chef in a comfortable silence. This was only the beginning of a very happy and healing journey for the both of us...
