Coach Evans was back and Chris had sadly texted Emery that he would not be able to sit at the bench with him today.

No worries. I'll be there on my window.

Was Emery's reply.

Hence Chris was able to smile again and begin with his day. He knew his sun would rise to meet him anyway.

Chris passed a short wave to a sleepy yet attentive Emery who stood leaning on the window frame at seven o'clock sharp. The 20 year old smiled and waved back.

'Yellow looks good on you'

Emery's text read as Chris walked back to his car to drive himself and  coach Evans home.
