Zayn has a secret.

Something no one knows about him.

Not even his band mates.

You see, Zayn is not human.

No, he's an angel.

A guardian angel. 

He lived in heaven once, had a high rang and was being respected by other angels, but one day, someone found out his secret. He was in love with a human. And still is. 

Someone told his secret to the King. Or as you know him: God. Actually he's just a very fat angel who sits all day in a chair that he calls his throne. All he does is eating and bossing around lower placed angels.

He found out Zayn was in love with a human and that's forbidden in the kingdom which is heaven. He didn't and still doesn't know with who the black haired angel is in love with, but he lowered Zayn's position into being a guardian angel. 

So, that's why Zayn is now on earth, singing in a boy band with the human he was asigned to.

Niall Horan. An innocent, clumsy, Irish lad. You want to know the best part? Niall is the human Zayn is in love with.

When Zayn was send down to earth with Niall's name tattooed on his wrist, he couldn't have been happier and he had the perfect opportunity to get close with Niall. He participated with X-factor, 'cause he knew that he and Niall would be put together as a group. He might have manipulated the judges a bit, but who cares?

Over the last three years, Zayn had been doing a good job in keeping Niall save.

Like that one time Niall went out alone for a walk. He wasn't even ten minutes the door out before Zayn felt Niall was in danger. As quick as he could he had jumped out of the window of their flat. His wings, which are black close to his back, but virgin white at the ends, had spreaded out and he had flew to the dark alley where Niall had been walking, not noticing he had been followed by rapists. Before the evil men even had the chance to do something to Niall, Zayn had them destroyed. He knew that he shouldn't have killed them, but he couldn't stand the thought that there was anyone out here who could hurt Niall.

Niall hadn't even noticed the fight behind him and had walked back to their flat happily.

On the other hand, when Zayn came back to the flat, the lads (minus Niall) had been waiting for him. They had seen him jump out of the window and unfolt his beautiful wings. They had wanted an explanation and Zayn had told them everyting. He even told them about his love for Niall.

The boys had been very understanding and weren't mad at Zayn for keeping this a secret for them.

Ever since then, the lads had been doing everything to get Niall and Zayn together.

Liam had told Zayn that Niall loves him back, but Zayn hadn't believed him.

Now on the moment, Zayn is sharing a bed with Niall. Not in that way, you perverted people! He is just sleeping with him. Well... Niall is sleeping, cuddled close to Zayn, while Zayn has his arms around Niall's  waist. 

He can't believe how lucky he is to be here with the love of his life. Slowly he leans in and kisses the blonde' s forehead softly and sweet. His lips linger a bit longer then usual, searching for the feeling Niall's skins give him. 

Of course the sweet moment doesn't last long as Louis burst into the room, screaming "GET UP!" 

Niall stirs awake and buries his face deeper into Zayn's shoulder. Zayn gives Louis a glare, but Louis just smirks. "See you later, lovebirds." He says and walks out of the room.

"I don't wanna get up." Niall says sleepy and Zayn sighs. 

"You have to, Ni. I'm sorry." Zayn runs his hand through the leprechaun's soft hair. 

"Okay, but on one condition than." Niall says and flutters his eyes open to stair into golden brown one's. 

Zayn looks suspicious at Niall. What condition would he have this time? "What?" He asks and a beautiful smile appears on Niall's face.

"After you made me breakfast, you have to take me for a walk." Niall says and Zayn nods. That's not to hard, so he gets up to get dressed and make breakfast.

Twenty minutes later, Niall closes the door from the flat as he and Zayn start their walk. They decided to walk through the park, which is beautiful and abandoned in the early morning. With dewdrops on the green grass and a few strings of fog above the lake. 

They walk around for an houre in the perfect scenery which reminds Zayn of heaven, before they go back to their flat.

"If we go back now, I'll cook you diner." Zayn promises his love and of course, Niall being Niall starts to run to the flat, not noticing the car that lost control and is now coming straight at him.

"LOOK OUT!" Zayn calls out as Niall stands there frozen, looking at the approaching car. 

Zayn makes a quick decision and unfolts his wings. Then he flies as fast as possible to the place where Niall stands, still frozen. The angel picks his love up and flies away with him. Just in time to dodge the car. 

Niall is clinging onto Zayn shirt like his life depends on it, but Zayn would never let him fall. The angel flies to the top of their flat and lands on the roof, trying to put Niall back down on his feeth, but he keeps clinging onto his shirt. Not wanting to let go of him just yet.

Niall has his eyes closed and tries to understand what just happened. Zayn has wings? Angelwings? Does that mean he's an angel? 

Slowly he opens his eyes and looks up to Zayn. Then he let them trail to the wings on the angel's back. Niall releases Zayn's shirt with one hand, but only to touch the silk and soft feathers sticking out of Zayn's back.

Finally he looks back at Zayn's eyes.

"Your beautiful." Niall whispers. Slowly he leans in, closing the few inches between their lips. Soft young lips  meet slightly rougher, immortal one's. Sparks are running through both men's body. Zayn's wings shiver from pure rapture.

Both boys are sharing a love filled kiss with each other in the watm morning sun. Neither of them wants to break away first, but Niall runs out of breath, so soon enough he has to pull away from the delightful lips. 

"I love you." Zayn whispers.

"I love you too." Niall whispers back before he places his lips back on Zayn's for another love-filled kiss. Even God is watching the two lovers in awe, deciding to let them be together.
