Dask was swimming in the lake, while I sat nearby watching him. His slim, muscled arms powered his frame smoothly through the water. He swam towards me and stood up when he reached the shallows.
Dask's shoulders had broadened over the past year, he'd grown taller and his feet had grown longer.
The white shirt he had on was heavy with water and clung onto his torso as he walked towards me. The material was almost translucent, his skin clearly visible underneath. He was wearing his boxers and I wondered how they hadn't fallen off in the water. The silken material of his boxers looked like a second skin, glued to him as he approached.
He shook his head a little, flicking his hair to the side and shaking off the excess water. He ran his fingers through the wet strands, smoothing it down. His skin glimmered where tiny droplets of water caught the light.
He stopped in front of me. His hair seemed to have absorbed the sun's rays, causing it to be almost effervescent, like a golden halo.
I lifted myself up onto my knees in front of him. I reached my hand towards him and raised the bottom of his shirt up a little.
He stayed still as his eyes watched me. My eyes followed the tiny droplets of water trickling down the exposed skin of his stomach, into the waistband of his boxers. I gently ran my fingers along his skin there, feeling its dampness. Goosebumps broke out across his skin under my touch. I licked some of the water droplets from his stomach and heard his quiet gasp.
I stood up, letting his shirt drop in the process. I lightly skimmed my hands up the sides of his body, and lifted his shirt over his head.
I slid his boxers down and then pulled my own boxers off. I lightly gripped us both in my hands and carefully rubbed us both together.
My lips touched the skin behind his ear, down the side of his neck, they travelled over his jawline, and inched closer to his soft looking lips. His full lips had reddened and were slightly apart. I licked my own lips, to wet them.
My other hand cupped one side of his jaw, I brought my lips to the edge of his. I was so close, I could feel his warm breath fanning across my lips. I could smell his sweet breath, almost taste it.
"Jo?" He half moaned. I pumped us faster. His hand was grasping onto my shoulder, his eyes heavy lidded.
I couldn't answer him. I was too caught up in watching him, drowning in his heady scent, too dizzy to think straight. So full of desire and want. I groaned, feeling like I was going to explode at any moment.
"Jo?" He said softly. I kissed the edge of his soft lips.
"Jo!" His tone was panicked.
Confused, I opened my eyes to see Dask's flushed face.
"Jo?" He repeated, unsteadily.
I took in our surroundings and realised we were both laying down on an unfamiliar queen sized bed, in an unfamiliar room. I was laying half on top of him.
Both of us were wearing boxers and sleepshirts. One of my arms was propping me up. Dask's hand was on my shoulder. His breathing was ragged. My lips were on the outer edge of his.
We were so close in more ways than one. My hands had both of us in their grasp. I'd been unconsciously rubbing us together.
I quickly let go and jumped out of the bed. I noticed a chandelier hanging from the ceiling as I stumbled backwards and fell over an antique chair. I hastily tucked myself back into my boxers. Dask seemed to do the same, underneath the heavily embroidered covers.
My eyes shot to the rich red curtains draping the extremely large windows, the textured wallpaper, the antique dressing table with an elegant bevelled mirror, and I couldn't miss the dark mahogany four poster bed we had apparently been sharing.
"Jo, are you okay?" Dask asked, crawling to the end of the bed and peeking over the edge. He saw me sprawled out on the floor. My legs were in front of me, I was leaning back on my elbows and sitting on my butt where it had landed when I tripped over. I sat up and began to rub my lower back.
"Jo?" He asked again. I roused myself and looked up at him. His eyes were filled with concern.
"I'm okay." I reassured him. "I think I hurt my back." Dask climbed out of bed. "What's that chair doing there anyway?" I scratched my head. "Where are we?"
He knelt beside me. "We're on vacation. Remember?" He felt my head. "Did you knock your head?"
I shook my head and took in a deep breath, concentrating on my surroundings and Dask's soft blue eyes. My thoughts became a little clearer and I remembered Dask and my family were on our annual summer vacation. We were on some island, the name of which I can't remember.
I looked over at the antique clock sitting on the dresser and squinted my eyes to try check the time, giving up when I couldn't see it properly.
"It's two twenty in the morning," Dask said.
I turned towards him. "I remember where we are now. I was caught up in my dream."
"I'll say," he laughed.
I chuckled. "Help me up?"
He stood and helped me to my feet and over to the bed.
"Are you okay? Do you want some ice? Should I wake your mom or dad?" Dask asked, worried.
I shook my head. "No, I'll be fine. If it gives me trouble tomorrow, I'll tell them."
"Okay."
We lay down and I winced as I turned on my side, away from him.
"You want me to look?" He asked.
I shrugged my shoulders. "Should be okay."
I felt the warmth of Dask's body move up closer behind me. "Jo?" He whispered lowly.
"Hmm?"
"You said you wanted to stop fooling around over a year ago, remember? Because you don't want to cheat on Kelly?"
I sighed. I remembered. The memories all came flooding back. I had thought, if Dask and I stopped fooling around, and Kelly and I made out more, I'd stop fantasizing about kissing Dask. I guess that didn't work. His lips seemed to be all I could think about these days. I groaned quietly to myself.
I thought about the past year. Kelly and I have been together over two years now. Dask and I both had our sixteenth birthdays recently.
Jax was at Dask's sixteenth birthday party, again, being a knob, as usual. He seemed to leave us alone a bit more though, because Derek, my older brother, was back from college and was at the party. He knew the trouble Jax usually caused us and tried to divert his attention away from us. The weird thing is, they seemed to have struck up some sort of close friendship. At least Jax stays away from us now at the majority of family events.
"We've never kissed before." Dask said quietly. I actually felt my body get shivers when he spoke. Dask's voice had deepened over the past year. It had deepened and it did things to me.
"Dask, go to sleep," I said, pretending irritation.
I heard him sigh. I felt the bed dip as he rolled over to his side of the bed, away from me. "Night." He mumbled.
"Night, Dask."
I was irritated. Not with him, but myself. I was irritated with my body's betrayal. Every time I was around Dask these days, he affected me. The way he looked, his deeper voice, his smell, his touch. He didn't even have to touch me. I'd feel the warmth of his body near me and I'd sport instant hard ons.
Staying away from him wasn't helping. Not touching him wasn't helping either. Having a girlfriend to regularly fool around with wasn't stopping me from wanting to fool around with him too.
I felt like I was losing my mind.

Thank you so much for reading.
I'm sorry this chapter is a little late. I've been struggling with the story. I know how I want it to end, it's just getting there that's proving to be a problem for me at the moment. I hope this chapter is okay. My apologies if it's not up to scratch.
Lots of ♡
