Chapter Two:

Stiles couldn’t move a single inch. He was in disbelief. His throat felt sore. Tears were seconds away from spilling down his face. A noise emitted from him and it sounded between a mix of a soft cry and a growl. He stared ahead at Derek not blinkingly his eyes. The wolf gazed at him back the look on his face impassive. Stiles then wanted to scream at him and hit him.

“Why are you here?” Derek asked the tone of his voice hard and tired.

Stiles gulped not sure how to answer especially with a half-naked chick in his presence. The girl has been silently observing him. Stiles already didn’t like her. She had cherry red hair that fell down to her shoulders. She was pretty but her beauty was average, nothing special. Her skin was a pale ivory, which suggested she wasn’t a fan of the sun. She was medium height. Like her bold hair, her lips were red as well. Plump and mended into a tight smirk at Stiles.

Derek must have sensed some tension because he looked to the girl. He kindly ordered her to leave them alone and go in the house. Before she went, she gave Derek a big, sloppy kiss one that caused Stiles to grit his teeth in jealousy. Once she was gone, Derek walked on his porch and closed the door behind him. He then crossed his arms, his blue eyes gazing impatiently at Stiles.

“I asked why are you here?” Derek repeated his question to Stiles who winced at the shrill height of his voice. For second, he was graced with a flashback of Danny. Stiles quickly shook it away.

“Um…I called you” muttered, Stiles not exactly answering his question.

Derek nodded his head but didn’t say anything.

“I left you messages” continued Stiles. “A bunch of them”

“I know” was all Derek said and Stiles gut twisted in hurt.

“So how come you didn’t call me back?” anger high in Stiles voice. “Oh I get it. It was because you were screwing that slut in there. Is that it?”

With no warning of whatsoever, Derek had slammed Stiles into his warehouse building wall. Pain stabbed into Stiles shoulder blades and his spine felt bruised. Derek’s face was in front of him with his usual glare shown.

“Don’t ever call her that name again!” he growled and pushed Stiles back further into the wall. Stiles was in a world of pain. He was convince his spine was crushing into tiny pieces. He wanted to yell out and try to push Derek away. But that would be so useless. He was stronger than him, much stronger. So all Stiles could do was hide he was hurting and stare into Derek’s cruel eyes.

    “Who is she?”

   “None of your business!”

Derek pushed him again. A whimper wanted to escape from Stiles mouth but he refused. Even though he was in pain, Stiles couldn’t help his heart. Its beat was lightning fast because of the closeness of he and Derek shared. This was the first contact they had shared in three months. Stiles absorbed it up like water, ignoring his pain and bathing himself in the pleasure of Derek’s touch. The sour wolf didn’t seem to notice as he was still glaring fiercely at Stiles.

“For the last time, why are you here?”

“Y-you. Because I wanted to see you” spoke, Stiles and watched as Derek’s expression slowly softened. But in an instant it hardened again.

  “Why?”

“B-b-because” he stuttered. “You’re all I’ve been thinking about”

It was the truth. Stiles was going to drive himself crazy thinking about Derek. It was kind of good he had admitted aloud. But it was also kind of bad. Stiles had a feeling he wasn’t going to like Derek’s reaction and he was right.

“ Don’t. Just don’t. You’re just a sixteen year old boy. You don’t know what you’re saying” snorted, Derek and Stiles blushed furiously.

“What does age have to do with my feelings?”

“Everything!” he shouted and Stiles was taken back. “Your little stupid teenage crush means absolutely nothing to me. It’s pathetic”

“H-how do you k-know I have a crush on you?”

“It’s obvious” he snorted. “Even a blind man would be able to tell”

“I hate you!” said Stiles but he didn’t at all mean it. He was just mad at Derek. Mad at him for being mad at him because of his crush on him. Why was he being so mean anyway? What did Stiles do besides blow up his phone and think harmless (ok sometimes inappropriate) thoughts about him?

“No, you don’t and we both know it. That’s why I’ve been keeping away from you”

“Because, you’re afraid of my innocent crush on you?”

“No, because I’m not interested. I don’t like you Stiles at least not in that way” said Derek seriously.

That did it. Those words, his words were enough to bring back the pain that Stiles has trying to keep at bay for these three months. The pain that he was nowhere near ready to handle. It first arrived at his brain and then found its way to his heart. It stung and he was tempted to cry. Quickly turning away from Derek, Stiles lowered his head.

“You may have saved me from, Danny….” He paused a tear on the edge of his eye. “But your rescue was a fail. The pain will always be there and your words just made it worse”

Stiles then ran back to his jeep ignoring Derek calls for him to come back.

A/N: *sniffles* Here’s the chapter. Gosh, is it sad. Please post comments. I’ll try to update soon.
