Max's POV

When I woke up I was in the doctors room. "How did I get here?" I asked to no one in particular. "I brought you here." My eyes widened. "Rex? Why would you help me?" Right as I finished my sentience the smell of vinilla filled my nose. "You're my mate I would do anything for you." He said as he came over to the six of my bed and pulled me into a hug. "I have some questions for you." He said. "What?" "Who did this to you? Who hurt you." He looked at me with a concerned look on his face. "I can't tell you." Please I need to know so I can make sure you never get hurt like this or even worse ever again." "My-my .... Brother" he looked at MD with a suprised look on his face. "Jason did this to you?" "Yes" I took in a shaky breath. He noticed this and embraced me tightly. "It's okay." He said rubbing my back. We stayed like this until he stood up to leave. "Were are you going?" I asked still wiping tears from my face. "To go talk to your brother." He said. But before I could tell him to stop he was gone.
