Rex's POV

"I'm glad you like it." I said while I pulled him into a long heated kiss. Once I needed air I pulled away and he whimpered. "How did you find this place?" He asked me. "I was running in my wolf form and just fell upon this medow. No body else knows about this place." "Oh." I grabed his hand and walked further into the medow to a place where I had set up a picnic for us. "When did you do this?" He asked me while hugging me. "I did it last night while you where asleep." "Why?" "You just went through so much and you didn't deserve any of it so I wanted to do something for you." "Oh babe you didn't have to do this for me." I pulled him into an embrace and kissed him sweetly. Once we pulled apart we went and sat down on the blanket and ate the food I had packed. Soon we had finished our food and were laying back looking at the sky. Max had his head on my chest. "Do you smell that?" I asked. "Yeah what is it?" I got up and started sniffing. Once the smell got stronger my eyes grew wide. "Rogues." I said as I looked at him. I ran to Max and mindlinked all of my dads best fighters to get here ASAP. They were all at the medow within several minutes. Not long after the rogues started coming out one by one until there where ten of the around us we all shifted but I told Max to run back to the house and find my dad. The fight went on for what seemed like hours until I heard a scream. "REX!" I looked in the direction it came from and saw Max being taken away by Jason.
