Sorry about the late chapter, got swamped with tests at school. anyway here's the last chapter, and please read the authors note at the end :) I also wanted to thank everyone who has read my story it means a lot to me. 

Max's P.O.V:

It's the next morning and I am tired; I kept waking up from random bursts of pain. I don't really know why it happened, so I just ignore it. I get out of bed, change, and head downstairs to get some breakfast.

"Good morning son!" my dad says cheerily as he puts some pancakes on a plate for me.

"Morning" I mumble out

"What happened to you? Did you stay up all night playing games with your friends?" he says laughing

"No, I just didn't sleep well" I shrug

"Oh ok, well hurry up before your late for school!"

I grab my keys after I eat, and head to my car. I finally got it back from the mechanics. I arrive at school, then park my car. I look up and I can see Alex, Simon, Daniel, and Derrick hanging out together.

'Where's Dusk?' I wonder as I get out of my car

I feel angry the longer I stare at them. I clench my fists, digging my nails into the palm of my hand. I go into the school without talking to them. I see Dusk up ahead of me, and he looks terrible. I look away and head into my class, but I can't stop thinking about him.

'Did I cause him to look like that?' I wonder all class

*Time skip to PE*

I am standing in the gym, waiting for the teacher to come in. The head cheerleader coming over to talk to me again.

'Dam it, why wont they just give up?!?!' I think as she stands in front of me

"Hey Babe." she says flashing her smile

"How  many times do I have to tell you to not call me that? We aren't ever going to date!" I snarl at her

"Oh, but I know your little secret~" she says as she looks at the gym doors, then smirks at me

"What secre-" I start to ask before being cut off with a kiss

I can't move away from her, i'm paralyzed. I hear a sob come from the gym doors, and a pain in my right arm. I look over to see Dusk leaving and I feel pain in my chest with every step he takes. The stupid bitch let's go of me and I glare at her.

"Don't ever tough me again." I growl at her as I start to run after Dusk

'Where did he go?' I think as I run out of the school

I've been looking for Dusk for a few hours now, and the sun is starting to set. I'm panicking right now.

'What if he has run away? or he's trying to kill himself?' I think as i'm running past the bridge

I pause for a second to catch my breath. I hear faint piano music towards the bridge and i turn to look. I sigh in relief when I see him, but it doesn't last long. I watch as Dusk turns around and let's himself fall off of the bridge.

I quickly run to the edge, bringing out my wings as I jump after him.

I can almost reach him, but he's getting close to the water.

I grab his hand and pull us upward just as he was about to touch the water. I hold him bridal style, and he wraps his arms around my neck. I smile as i fly us back to solid ground. Dusk opens his eyes.

"When did you die?" he asks confused

I couldn't help it, I burst out laughing.

"I saved you, your not dead." I finally managed to wheeze out

"but you hate me...." he whispered

I look at him, and I feel my heart breaking. He's about to cry, and it's all my fault. I start to wipe the tears that started to come out.

"Hey, do you want to know a secret?" I ask him

"sure..." he says getting quieter

I look at him and smile. I lean close to his ear and whisper in his ear

"I love you."

Then I kiss him, I could feel sparks going off. After a few seconds he kisses back, and I can feel his happiness. I am happy that Dusk is my soul mate. We pull away for air, and he gives me a smile.

"Do you want to know my secret?" he asks

"Yes" I say without hesitation

"I've always loved you."

Authors note:

Yay I finished xD hope everyone is happy with the ending, if not then sorry not sorry. Anyway i'm working on a few new stories :D one is going to be Minicat and the other will be a Vikklan (maybe with Poofless/Merome idk yet) ill be working on the Minicat story mostly, and working on the Vikklan story later, but I have ideas. anyway hope your day is going well
