Luca sat on the bed, arms crossed, fuming.

House arrest.

HOUSE ARREST.

Damien thought he could just ban him from pranks?!

Like some kind of prank dictator?!

Absolutely not.

Luca's chaotic soul would not be tamed.

And if Damien thought this war was over?

He was dead wrong.

Mochi, ever the loyal partner-in-crime, sat on Luca's lap, purring as if he sensed the brewing storm.

Luca booped his tiny nose.

"Alright, Mochi. We've been betrayed. Oppressed. Under a brutal regime."

Mochi blinked.

Luca grinned. "It's time to fight back."

Mochi, ever the king, flicked his tail.

The rebellion had begun.

If Damien wanted to play big boss and keep him in check?

Fine.

But Luca was about to unleash absolute hell.

Step One:

Sabotage Damien's Routine.

Step Two:

Publicly Humiliate Him.

Step Three:

Finish Him.

Luca smirked. "Mochi, my child. We're going for the throne."

Mochi meowed in approval.

The morning started perfectly.

Damien woke up, stretched, and went straight to his closet...

Only to find that every single black suit had been replaced with pastel pink.

Luca, feigning innocence, stretched beside him. "Good morning, love."

Damien slowly turned, deadpan.

"Where," he said, voice low and dangerous, "are my suits?"

Luca sipped his tea. "They're pink now."

Damien exhaled. "You little—"

But before he could throttle Luca, Mochi launched himself at Damien's feet, rubbing against his legs in a perfect distraction maneuver.

Damien sighed.

"...Fine."

Victory #1 went to Luca.

Damien had an important meeting that day.

Luca knew that.

Which is why, when Damien walked into the conference room, perfectly composed in his pastel pink suit, the entire mafia burst into applause.

Luca had sent a memo to the entire gang, declaring today "Boss Damien's Cute and Soft Era."

Confetti fell from the ceiling.

One of Damien's men handed him a teddy bear.

Luca, watching from his seat across the room, barely held in his laughter.

Damien's eye twitched.

He stared at Luca. "You. Did. This."

Luca winked. "Obviously."

Damien sighed. "I'm going to kill you."

Luca just smiled.

Victory #2 went to Luca.

Luca needed to end this war in style.

He needed something so chaotic, so unhinged, that Damien would never recover.

And then?

Genius struck.

Luca wasn't stupid. He knew pushing Damien too far would only make things worse for himself. So, this final prank had to be... different.

Less chaos. More heart.

Which is why he stood in the kitchen at 2 AM, Mochi perched on the counter, watching him stir a pot of warm chocolate.

Mochi flicked his tail, blinking up at Luca.

"I know, I know," Luca muttered. "It's not my usual style, but trust me. This will end the war."

Mochi yawned, unimpressed.

Luca flicked a marshmallow at him. Mochi batted it away.

Luca grinned. "Operation: Sweet Revenge is a go."

Damien came home late.

He walked through the door, loosening his tie, expecting chaos but finding...

Silence.

Suspicious.

His eyes narrowed as he stepped inside, muscles tense, ready for whatever trap Luca had laid out this time.

Instead, he found...

Luca.

Sitting cross-legged on the couch, wrapped in a fluffy blanket, with a steaming cup of hot chocolate in his hands.

No pranks. No mischief.

Just Luca.

Waiting.

Damien's guard lowered, just slightly. "What's this?"

Luca smiled, soft and warm. "Peace offering."

Damien raised a brow. "You expect me to believe that?"

Luca huffed, setting his mug down. "Okay, fine. Truce."

Damien crossed his arms. "No tricks?"

"No tricks. No hidden plans?"

Luca rolled his eyes. "I'm serious, Damien." He patted the space beside him. "Come sit."

Still skeptical, Damien moved toward him, sitting down.

Luca picked up a second mug from the table and handed it to him.

Damien took it, watching Luca closely as he took a sip.

Nothing exploded.

Nothing turned weird colors.

Just... warm, rich chocolate.

Damien hummed. "You actually made this?"

Luca smirked. "I'm full of surprises."

Damien chuckled, shaking his head. "So this is how the great prank war ends? With hot chocolate?"

Luca leaned against him, tucking himself under Damien's arm. "I figured I should stop while I'm ahead."

Damien raised a brow. "And by 'ahead,' you mean 'before Damien gets revenge.'"

Luca snorted. "That too."

Silence fell between them, the warmth of their drinks lingering, the soft glow of the room wrapping around them like a hug.

Mochi curled up at their feet, purring.

Luca let out a soft sigh. "You know... this whole thing started because I wanted to make you laugh more."

Damien blinked, glancing down at him. "What?"

Luca's fingers traced the rim of his cup. "You're always so serious, always carrying so much weight. I just... I like seeing you happy." He peeked up at Damien, a little shy. "You should smile more."

Damien's chest ached.

For all of Luca's chaos and pranks, at his core, he was just... Luca.

Bright. Loving. The best thing in Damien's world.

Damien set his cup down and pulled Luca closer, pressing a kiss to the top of his head.

"You're impossible," he murmured.

Luca grinned against his chest. "And you love me for it."

Damien sighed. "Yeah. I really do."

And just like that—

The prank war ended.

Not with a final trick.

But with love.
