Luca was buzzing with excitement.
For weeks, he had been thinking about it. Blond highlights. A little change. A little chaos.
And finally—
He did it.
He stared at himself in the mirror, running his fingers through his now black-and-gold streaked hair.
It looked... hot.
He smirked. Oh, Damien's gonna lose it.
Damien was lounging on the couch when Luca waltzed into the room, hands stuffed in his pockets, trying to act casual.
Didn't work.
Damien's sharp eyes flicked up—
And then froze.
For a full five seconds, Damien didn't blink.
Luca raised an eyebrow. "Babe?"
Silence.
Luca smirked. "You okay, big guy?"
Damien's fingers twitched around the whiskey glass in his hand.
And then—
He set it down.
Stood up.
And crossed the room in two seconds flat.
Luca barely had time to breathe before Damien's hand slid into his hair, tugging just enough to make his heart pound.
"What," Damien murmured, voice low, "is this?"
Luca grinned. "Like it?"
Damien's fingers tightened. "I love it."
Luca felt heat rush to his cheeks.
Damien loved it.
"I knew you would," Luca hummed, trying to play it cool. "You always liked blondes."
Damien chuckled, pressing his forehead against Luca's.
"I like you, sweetheart," he murmured. "Doesn't matter what color your hair is."
Luca's heart did a backflip.
But before he could melt into a puddle of flustered mess, Damien's smirk turned downright wicked.
"I should mess it up," Damien mused.
Luca narrowed his eyes. "You wouldn't dare."
Damien definitely would.
And within seconds—
Luca was shrieking as Damien threw him onto the couch.
"DAMIEEEEEN!"
Yeah.
This was so worth it.
