Luca wasn't nervous.

Nope.

Not one bit.

(...Okay, maybe just a little.)

Tonight was huge. The grand opening of his store. His own space. His dream, turned reality.

And everyone was invited.

Which meant, of course, that Damien had made this into a massive event.

The store was lined with warm golden lights, the windows showcasing Luca's latest designs, perfectly styled on mannequins. A red carpet had been rolled out at the entrance, because apparently, Luca's dramatic mafia boyfriend thought it was necessary.

Guests were already arriving—some were Luca's friends, some were Damien's powerful business connections, and some were the mafia guys, who absolutely looked out of place but were trying their best to act like normal civilians.

Inside, everything was perfect. The clothes were beautifully arranged, a small café area was set up (because Luca needed his customers to have good coffee), and a custom wall showcased all the designs he'd worked on in the past year.

It was his space. His dream. And tonight, he was sharing it with the world.

Luca took a deep breath. He was standing at the entrance, greeting guests, watching the crowd swell inside.

Then he felt a warm hand on his waist.

Damien.

Luca turned to him, finding those dark, knowing eyes already on him.

"You okay, sweetheart?" Damien murmured.

Luca exhaled, glancing at the store, at the people, at everything.

Then, he turned back to Damien with a small, genuine smile.

"...Yeah. I'm okay."

Damien's lips twitched up.

"Good. Because you're about to make a speech."

Luca's eyes widened.

"...I'm about to what?"

Damien grinned, taking his hand and leading him inside—where, sure enough, a microphone was waiting for him.

"You're evil," Luca muttered.

"You love me for it," Damien whispered back.

And damn it, he was right.

Despite the nerves, Luca made his speech.

He thanked everyone. He talked about his dream, his passion, his designs. He even made the mafia guys promise not to scare away any customers.

By the end of the night, his heart was full.

The store was officially open.

His dream was real.

And as he stood there, in the middle of everything, Damien's arm around his waist, Mochi sitting proudly on the counter like he owned the place, Luca thought to himself—

Yeah. This is everything I ever wanted.
