Okay guys I dont know what happened but most of this chapter was deleted. I didn't realize it till i checked the comments.

Eros p.o.v.

After breakfast everybody left to do whatever. Ian and Brayden went to watch the first Hotel Transylvania in the movie room and I went to my room to change into some clean clothes. I am going to meet up with Hebe later and I want to be ready.

I look through my luggage for my grimoire. I brought three grimoires for this trip. The one I one I use the most which is filled from page to page with spells and other magical things. My new grimoire which I just started writing in. Then my third grimoire which is magically connected with all my other grimoires back home.

Currently I was looking for my connected grimoire. I needed to look up some stuff about the ghost that tried to possess me. When he was in my body, I heard him keep saying, "he's coming out, he's coming out." He then said something that sounded French. I am going to do some research on what he said.

I find the grimoire and I sit down on my bed. I say my secret password and the book opens. I then make an 'o' hand shape and say, "open search." The book glows and out comes a light from my book.

The book then says "how may I help you, sir." Then a typed up version appears in the light in hologram form. Yes I invented my own book Siri.

"Look up memory spells please," I tell it.

The pages then flip to a random page and all the things associated with memory that I've ever written in my grimoires appear. I look through the spells and find one that is perfect. I put a piece of paper next to me and cast the spell. I start to remember the words and my hand moves to the words. The voice sounded kind of like a whisper in the winds, soft, gentle, and hard to hear unless you focus.

When the spell was over, I look down at the words and frown. It said he's coming out le roi fantôme is coming out. I type the words into google translate and I get the words the ghost King.

I put my hand in an 'o' shape again and say, "open search. Look for the ghost King." I wasn't sure if I ever wrote anything about a ghost King, but you never know.

The book said there wasn't any info on the ghost King and suggested alternate searches. I was about to close the book, when something strange popped up. Did you mean le roi fantôme. I frown at that. The words are french and I don't speak french.

I say yes and the grimoire starts to flip again and I land on a page with a drawing of a small book. At the top of the page it says 'The Scarab of Osiris'. I look at the bottom of the page and it says located in Aragon Kyles's private library.

Kyles? Could this person be related to Diana and Damien? Wait, why is this in my book? I think I would remember drawing something like this in it.

Knock knock

I look over at my door and yell, "come in." The door opens and in comes Damien without a shirt on and with a sheepish smile. I bite my lip as I check him out, but quickly stop myself. "What do you want?"

"Oh nothing," he says and stretches his arms.

It is a really hot sight, but I know something is up. "What did you do?"

"What makes you think I did something," he whines.

"Because you always do something," I yell. That's when I realize what he was trying to do. "Were you trying to seduce me before telling me."

He gives me a sheepish smile, "no," he says, dragging the 'o'.

I roll my eyes at him, he is such an idiot. My eyes land on my grimoire and I see the name again. I get a quick idea and I look back at him. "If I promise not to get mad, would you help me with something?" He smiles at me and nods his head. "Ok now tell me."

He pulls a picture out of his back pocket and shows it to me. The picture is of him and me smiling at each other with a heart frame around us. The picture actually makes us look like we're happy and in love. I kind of awed at the picture, but then I realize who it is.

"Damien," I scream.

"So how can I help you," he asks me.

"No no. You have to explain this first."

He sighs before telling me. "Well some people saw us this morning and posted a few pictures of us online and a lot of people edited them."

"Of course this was edited. I would never look at you lovingly like that."

He pouts at me. "Why not? I'm not that bad. You slept with me twice."

My face heats at the words. "Don't say it like that. Say we were both unconscious and slept next to each other."

He rolls his eyes at that. "Yeah whatever. Now tell me what you want."

I want to argue some more about how this was his fault, but my curiosity got the better of me. I first grab the flannel shirt he gave me yesterday and hand it to him. "First put on a shirt." He grins and grabs the shirt. He puts it on and listens to what I'm saying. "Do you know an Aragon Kyles?"

He nods his head as he buttons his shirt up, "yeah he's my grandfather's brother. He was at the party yesterday actually. Why do you ask?"

I close my grimoire and say, "I need a book and he's the only person I know that might have it."

"I can take you to him right now if you want."

I nod my head quickly and get out of bed. He chuckles a little at my excitement, before grabbing my hand and leading me out. As we walked I didn't notice that our hand were linked till a pair of girls saw us and giggled. I tried to take my hands away from his big one, but he wouldn't let me. The bastard was enjoying my discomfort.

'Do you think this is his jacking off hand' Ashlyn asks inside my head.

'Ashlyn you slut, don't say stuff like that'

'Why not? You're the only person I can talk to in here'

'Isn't there a spirit animal place for you guys'

'There is a plain that I live on where I get to communicate with other spirit animals, but only the ones close to me, so I'm stuck with you.'

Before I could say anything back, Damien says, "we're here." We stood outside a door, which I assume leads to Aaron's room. Damien knocks on the door and we hear some shuffling on the other side of them.

The door opens and a guy with black hair, light tan skin, and brown eyes appeared. He looks a lot like Damien, except older. He didn't look like Damien's great uncle though. He actually looks like Damien's older brother in the real world, which is weird. It's true that Castors live longer and look younger than humans, but this was way more than the average castor.

The guy looks at me and something briefly passes his eyes. He inspects me up and down, before speaking. "Hello," he says to me, completely ignoring his great nephew.

"Hey uncle," Damien greets, kind of awkwardly.

He looks over at Damien and it seems like it was the first time that he's notice him. He looks down at our hands and blinks a couple times before reality comes back to him. "Oh Damien how are you," he says, giving Damien a small hug.

Damien hugs him back, "it's been good. Sorry I didn't see you last night." He lets go of him and smiles. "This is my friend Eros. Eros this is my great Uncle Aragon."

I put my hand out for a handshake, "it's nice to meet you."

He grabs my hand and shakes it, he still looks at me strangely. "Valentino," he says.

I start to feel uncomfortable with his stares, so I quickly let go and give him a fake smile. "Yeah that's my mom's maiden name. Well she says Valentine, but it's actually Valentino," I say.

"Has anybody said how much you look like Aeron Valentino," he asks me.

Aeron? Who the hell is he? "No sir. I don't know who he is," I tell him.

"Oh well come in come in you guys," he says, moving away from the door, so we could enter. We both walk into the room and his uncle closes the door. "So what brings you guys here?"

"Um, Arrows wanted to ask for a book," Damien answers.

Aragon looks over at me with a smile waiting for the name of the book. "The Scarab of Osiris," I say.

He looks surprise when I mention the name of the book. He then appeared to have an inner debate with himself, probably about showing me the book. "What makes you think I have that book?"

"I just know," I tell him.

He sighs and walks over to the bookshelf next to his bed. He looks through them and finds this giant book. He grabs the book and places it at his desk. He opens up to a page and it shows that the book has been hollowed out. In the the middle of the hollowed out book was a small book with a picture of a scarab in the front. He takes the book out and hands it over to me. "Doing some family research," he asks. I frown at him and he just points at the book.

I see the authors name and am surprised to see the name Dante Valentino. "Who is he?"

"He was Aeron and Seth's father." Wait, Seth is my mom's father name, which means Aeron is my great uncle. I look over at Aragon and he continues speaking. "Dante was so obsessed with the thing. There isn't much known about it though. It apparently gives you power over the dead and keeps you from dying. Though the bad part is that everybody who's ever used it gets betrayed by the dead and they try to take scarab away."

"Wow. What happened to it," Damien asks.

His uncle shrugs. "Nobody knows. The last person they thought had it was Julius Caesar. After that nobody knows. The book talks about a theory of the scarab dying with Caesar but no one knows for sure."

As I look though the book, I ask, "why do they always betray them?"

"Nobody knows. They just do. Dante theorized that maybe it was because the dead wanted somebody who could understand them to lead them. Dante thought that the only true way to control the dead was to die and be revived, before using the scarab. Though how I have no idea."

A thought quickly passed my mind when he said that. It must have shown on my face because Aragon then says, "you know how to revive a person don't you."

I look up at him and shake my head. "No I don't know how, but I do know a way to find out."

"How," Damien asks me.

"With the black box and the Aztec book of songs."

"What," the two scream.

The black box is an ancient tool used by dark castors. It is a black cube full of ancient writing that not many people can read. The cube's power allows dark castors to enter information into it and to retrieve information from it. It's kind of like Internet, but for evil castors. Some nickname it the dark Google. The only way to access the black box is to have a dark castor ring. Some good castors have tried to find the black box to try to access it, but only really high up dark castors know where it is.

"How would the black box have something to revive people," Damien asks me.

"And how is the Aztec book of songs have anything to do with this? Besides aren't they destroyed," Aragon then asks.

"Yeah, also what is the Aztec book of songs?"

I roll my eyes at Damien's lack of knowledge. "The Aztec book of songs is a book by the Aztecs people. They are filled with a lot of powerful magical spells, but in requires music to perform most of them. Most of the book was destroyed when the Spanish came to the Americas, but five pages of the book survived. Those five pages are now called The Aztec song scrolls," I explain to them. "There is an underground theory that these five pages can unlock a higher level in the black box."

Damien's eyebrows furrow, "the black box has levels?"

"Yeah for higher up dark castors. Their really difficult to get into though," his uncle answers.

"Yeah and I think in one of those levels there is a spell to revive somebody," I tell them. The black box may be use by dark castors, but it wasn't always like that. It used to be use by everyone if they could touch it, but then the dark castors stole it and made wireless rings to access it. There are still some good spells in it.

"Wait why are we talking about this," Damien says. He looks at me, "you're not thinking of killing yourself and reviving yourself just to use that scarab that might not even exist anymore."

Why am I thinking about this? It's not like I'm going to try it. Thought that spell to revive people would come in handy once in a while. I shake my head at him. "No I was just wondering about the book," I say with a smile.

He smiles back at me. "Good. Now let's go I have other things to do."

"Yeah like that blonde bimbo that kept on staring at you all through breakfast," I joke, walking towards the door with him.

"Oh was little Arrows jelly," he coos.

"Psh, I was more peanut butter than anything," I say with a little laugh. He joins in and so does his uncle. We say goodbye to his uncle and soon we walk outside together.

As we walk I couldn't get the thought of what wrote that thing in my grimoire and in what book was it in. I had magically safeguarded all of them. The only other person that might have the slightest possibility is my mate, which I didn't know till after I found out about them. So who wrote it and why would they write it for me?

Why me?
