Eros p.o.v.

Ahhh I hate moving. Well I don't hate moving as much as I hate being the new kid and being the center of attention. The teachers telling you to introduce yourself to the class as if the students care who I am.

What I hate the most is that we are moving because my sister is an idiot and the council is too strict. You create one tornado and destroy one high school and suddenly you are too dangerous for the human world. Ok maybe not just one burned high school, but that's what happens when my family gets a little too emotional.

Okay let me introduce myself. My name is Asher Eros Castillo but I go by Eros. My parents decided to name Eros after the greek god of love which roman form is Cupid and Asher because it mean happy or blessing. My last name Castillo means Castle in Spanish so my name basically mean Happy Love Castle. I know weird.

I am gay. I've dated a couple of guys, but have never been in a relationship.

I have 4 siblings 2 boys and 2 girls. James Hermes Castillo, Gabrielle Victoria Castillo, Ryder Apollo Castillo, and Scarlett Venus Castillo. Yes the guys middle names were all named after Greek gods while the girls Romans. We are all spellcasters or Caster which are basically like mutts in the magical world. We are made up of wizards, witches, warlocks, sorcerer, sorceress, fairies, nymphs, and basically anything that can cast a spell.

The difference between us and other spell casting creatures is that we all gain an element we can control without a spell when we turn 17 and become full castors. We also gain our spirit animal which is basically like werewolves wolf but for casters. We can also shift into these creatures. We can also have magical spirit animals like a Pegasus, unicorn, or even a dragon.

Ok so now back to me. I like to sing a little but what I really love is art and reading if its a good book. My family also has this tradition where we use our power and cause an accident. James caused a fire. Gabby started a mini tsunami and now we can't live near a coastline. Ryder caused an earth quake and now we can't live near fault lines.

The council got mad after they heard what happened with Scarlett and said we had to enter my parents' old clan. A clan is like flock of Pegasus, pack of werewolves, coven of witches, or a herd of unicorns. My parents didn't like clan life so they decided to separate from our clan and become free casters. Now though we are loading our stuff into the moving truck to get to our clan, woohoo, note the sarcasm.

"So bro excited for next week," James ask.

"For my birthday Hell yeah. I finally get to find out what element I am and what animal I am. The best part I am going to be a full caster finally. Do you know how hard it is to be born just before the school deadline is. I am always the youngest at our schools so everybody was a full caster but me last year," I rant.

"Well do you know which element you want to be," my sister Gabby ask.

"Well no because you have no control over it right?"

"You don't have control but usually your first favorite usually is your element," my brother Ryder tells me as he puts boxes into the truck.

"Yeah but I never really had a favorite. Terra, Pyro, Aqua, and Ventus have all been the same to me. I want to be original and not a copy of one of you," I say.

"You always want to be original. That's why you go by your middle name Eros because 'there are too many Ashers in this world,'" Scarlett reminds me.

Yeah I always wanted to be original that is probably why I love art because no matter what every painting, drawing, or sculpture is different and it's own.

"How about Terra? They have the most diversity. Plants, stones, magma, and even metals," Ryder tells me.

"No how about Aqua? You can heal people with water and also literally make it rain," Gabby suggest.

"But with Ventus you can fly so easily and feel so free," Scarlett says as she is floating two feet off the ground before Ryder grabs her and pulls her down.

"How about Pyro. It is the most rare out of the four," James says.

"Actually lightning is the most rare," I correct.

"Yeah but no lightning caster has been seen in 1000 years. It doesn't even has its own name like the others," my mother says as she walks out of the house with dad.

"Now stop bothering your brother and let's get moving. We have to be there by tomorrow," my dad says as he locks the door.

We all get into the car and moving truck and we're off to our clan. This is actually my first time in about 10 years to go back to my parents old clan. My siblings go there all the time and my parents go once in a while to talk to grandma but I prefer to stay home.

Hope this time nothing happens.

Damien p.o.v.

I knock on my friend Braydon's door. He said he had some potions that can help you pass a test. I have test tomorrow in English and if I get another F my parents will ground me. I mean literally ground me. The will turn my feet into roots and leave me outside for 5 hours. I can break their spell easily since I am the future Helio, but I know they will give me a worst punishment.

Braydon's opens the door and says, "hey man. What you doin here?" I notice the boxes on his living room floor. I walk in and ask, "Are you moving out or something?"

"Nah. Some dude is moving into the spare bedroom."

"1 month after school started?"

"Yeah. Him and his family just moved into our clan and start school on Monday."

"What do you know about him?"

"Well he is gay, mean, and has a brother named JJwho helped him move here. I wasn't here when James was here though," he tells me.

"What do you mean by mean?"

"Well not really mean but more like I don't care. For example I told him that I am a high rank caster and all he said was 'whatever'. The I told him to show me some respect and he said 'I don't show respect to douchebags'. This guy has no manners."

I grin and look at him, "well I think we should go teach him some manners." Braydon leads me to this guys room and opens it. The guy is organizing his spell books when he turns around and glares at us with his brown hazel eyes. Then he looks at me and blushes. Well the guy has a crush on me oh this will be fun.

I walk over to him, grab his hand and ask, "What's your name beautiful?"

"Asher but people call me Eros," he answers with a giggle.

"Well Eros my friend here says you weren't showing him any respect. Is that true?" I ask as I kiss his hand which made him blush harder.

"Oh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to offend anybody."

"Well I know how you can make it up for me."

"How?"

"Get on your knees," I command. I was going to make him suck me off. Yeah some people may say I'm bi but in reality I just love having my dick sucked no matter what gender. I have never fucked a guy though or been in a relationship with a guy or even kissed a guy for that matter.

"Why," he ask as he gets on his knees.

"You'll see," is all I say. But before I could even unbutton my pants I am hurled out of his room by a gush of wind and hit the wall outside.

"Ouch" I say as I land on the ground. Braydon rushes out and checks if I'm okay.

"What the hell happened?"

"Isn't that what you wanted," Eros says innocently, "To blow you," he finishes with a smirk.

"You son of a bitch. You need to learn some respect" Braydon says as fire starts to appear on his hand. All Eros does is glare at him and say, " nope" before he telekineticly throws Braydon to their living and having him land on the coffee table. Eros walks over there raises his hand in a fist and says, "have you had enough?"

I grab his hand and in my Helio voice I say, "Enough"

"No" he says as he lets go of my hand. I look at him surprised. How did he fight the command so easily? The Helio command can make anybody do almost anything with in reason but he didn't even look fazed. Even people who aren't part of my clan can feel its power and I know he is in my clan because his family has joined my clan.

Braydon looks like he has composed himself ,"I, Braydon Channing challenge you, Asher Castillo to a duel tomorrow at eight at the park."

"I can't," Eros says. What does he mean he can't? He doesn't have to but that is different from he can't. This dude is weird.

"What do you mean you can't? I think you mean don't want to. You coward," Braydon taunts.

"No. He means he can't," a familiar female voice says from the open doorway. We turn and see it's my twin sister Diana.

"He is still unchosen," my sister explains.

"Unchosen. Have you felt his energy. It's as strong as a normal full caster," I say as I look at him.

"Whatever," Eros says and he goes to his room and slams his door shut.

"He comes from a powerful family line of casters but still he is powerful. The only unchosen casters that are stronger are really high rank casters or Helios, but I think he lowered his powers level, so he might be stronger," my sis says.

"Well whatever. I'm going to ask the dean to move him out and get me a new roommate, because if that's him unchosen I do not want to see him as a full caster."

"Fine" I hear Eros yell as he gets out of his room with a bunch of boxes floating around him.

"I just called the dean and he said I could move in with my brother so see ya bitches."

"JJ?" I ask.

"No Ryder. I have more than one brother dumbass." And with that he gets the rest of his boxes and leaves.

My sister turns to me and gives me the evil eye. "What did you do to him Damien?"

"Nothing," is all I say.

She folds her hand which means she is trying to control her fire and she only does that when she is really mad.

I sigh,"I may have tried to make him give me a blowjob," I confess while looking away from her angry expression.

"Then what happened"

"He cast a little Ventus spell and hurled me out of his room." I look at my sister and see she is trying to hold in her laugh.

"So he did blow you," she says while snorting and bursting into a full hard laugh.

"Hey it's not funny." I say as I feel a light blush start to appear from embarrassment.

My sisters sighs from her laughter and wipes away tear from her eyes,"ah that kids really knows how to punish people. He made the great fire prince embarrassed. I should go find him. See ya bro." With that she leaves the apartment.

Eros p.o.v

I hate guys like that. They're total players and don't give a shit about people. I'm glad my dad is friends with the dean and got me into another dorm with my brother. The only problem is that my brother is also sharing a dorm with a Helio, but we each get our own room so that's cool. I just hope the guy didn't sleep with a girl in my room.

"..ey hey hey kid who blew my brother."

I turn around and glare at the brown hair girl who was in my old dorm running towards me. "Is that what that asshole told you?i swear I will--"

"No, he told me the whole story a boy you throwing him out," she says with a smile as we start walking to Ryder and mine dorm.

"Not many people can stand up to my brother."

"Well I don't care and I'm sorry about all the cussing. I usually don't cuss unless somebody ticks me off," I say.

"Don't worry about it I've heard worst. Besides my brother really knows how to get on people's bad side. Oh by the way my name is Diana."

"My name is Asher but people call me Eros," I introduce myself.

"Eros as in god of love, Asher which means happy, and Castillo which means castle. So your name means happy love castle. Aww that's so cute."

I groaned, "I should introduce you to my mom. You two would hit it off. And how did you know my last name?"

"Well the only new people who have moved in that I know of is the Castillo family and I heard you say your brothers are Ryder and JJ which are part of the Castillo family," she answers.

"Oh so you've met my family or at least my siblings," I ask.

"Not all. Only JJ, Gabby, and Scarlett. I haven't met Ryder but I have heard of him. Is it true he is a bad boy."

I laugh at that question, "no he isn't that much of a bad boy but he is rebellious. So your brother is that Dimitri kid right of was it Braydon. "

"It's the Dimitri kid sadly. He actually is my twin but his name is Damien and did Braydon ask you to blow him too?"

"Yeah as soon as he found out I was gay he asked me. I knew from then on I wouldn't like him," I say as we arrive to the dorm and I knock on it.

"Hey do you need help," Diana offers.

"Yeah sure if you don't mind."

"Not at all. I actually love organizing and moving things around. I always move everything around in my room to make it look different, fresh, and most of all original."

"I knew I would like you," I say.

The door opens and I see a pretty girl. She says, "you must be the new roommate."

I groan, "don't tell me my brother is already hooking up with a girl or that Helio douche's new slut," I say as I walk into the dorm. Diana looks at me surprise at what I said and the girl just laugh. "Actually neither. I am the 'Helio douche' and your new roommate," she says while still laughing a little.

"Oh sorry. I thought you were going to be a guy and a player. I am also still angry at her brother," I say the last part pointing at Diana.

"It's okay. Most Helios are total manwhores and I know how Damien is, so don't worry. My name is Freya by the way but most people just drop the a and call me Frey."

"Hey Frey is my brother here," I hear Ryder say as he walks into the room. He looks directly at Diana and smiles. While Diana looks at him and blushes a little.

"Is this him," Freya asks as she points at me.

"Yeah," he says as he completely ignores the rest of us and walks up to Diana. I could be be a mermaid for all he knows.

"My name is Ryder what is yours," my brother says as he holds Diana's hand and caresses her cheek with his other hand.

"Oh me I'm.. Umm.."

"Beautiful," he suggest which made me and Frey roll our eyes and make Diana blush harder.

"C'mon Diana let's go and organize my room," I say as I grab her other hand and drag her away.

As soon as we get to the only empty room and I close my door Diana says, "I can't believe I found my mate."

I look at her confused. "What do you mean mate? Like werewolf mate? Are you a half werewolf Diana?"

"Yes kind of like werewolf mate, but you can't reject them or break the bond like werewolves. And no,my caster mate silly."

"Wait. What? Casters have mates," I scream. I can't believe we have mates. Why hasn't anybody told me? I don't hate the idea of having a soulmate but what if I get a total douche. I was really looking forward to finding my own soulmate.

"Yeah we have mates. Your parents haven't told you?"

"No"

"We'll maybe they thought since you weren't going to be around many casters you wouldn't need to know. So let me tell you the basics. They are your soul mates, they will seem like the most attractive person in the world to you, and you find them when you're 18 years old," she explains.

"So I have about a week and a year to find them right," I ask hopefully.

"Not if your mate is 18 and they find you like me and Ryder. Ah Ryder. Even his name is perfect," she says.

"Woman tell me what you mean if they're 18 and stop fantasizing about doing the dirty with my brother."

"I wasn't fantasizing about doing the dirty with your brother." I just give her a 'really' look.

"I was fantasizing about making sweet passionate love with him," she says as she drops onto my bed. I just roll my eyes at her. Woman are too complicated. I'm glad I like dudes, but her brother and his friends are making me really reconsider that.

She sits up and says, "oh and what I mean is that if your mate is 18 and you're a full caster. You will feel the bond with them. I'm only 17 and my birthday isn't for another week, but I still felt the connection immediately because he is over 18. By the way you're going to have a really strong mate."

So I have at least about a week before my mate could locate me that isn't that bad. I could go on 5 dates and lose my virginity in that time right? Wait something she said bothered me.

"What do you mean I will have a strong mate? How do you know?"

"I can see it your aura," she says.

"Oh. So you study aura," I ask.

"Yes and before you say anything. I've heard it all. Besides it's just a hobby."

"No I find auras interesting. Beside isn't it good for a Sight to study auras," I ask.

She looks at me with wide eyes,"How did you know I was a Sight?"

"I saw it in your aura. Hey you saw mine so I get to see yours so don't say anything," I say.

"No it's fine. Nobody knows except for you. So you can read auras?"

"Well... yeah but not like you. I can only read their rank like Helios or seers or something like that. Ryder taught me when we were moving from place to place, so I knew who the Helio was and not make a mistake. He also has a fascination with auras," I say as I start to unpack.

"Why do you need to read their auras," she ask.

"Well we must have been gone from a clan for so long that the clan energy doesn't affect us or something. My siblings feels the superiority of the Helio but they don't feel that affected even with the Helio command they can resist it. Even when we joined our clan they only felt a slight difference in energy. While I am completely immune and don't feel the superiority at all and there is no difference between normal voice and Helio command voice. Even when we joined our clan I felt nothing," I explain.

"That's why you didn't feel the command," she whispers to herself.

"What command," I ask.

"Oh. Nothing I just said that's why you didn't feel Freya's clan leader energy," she says.

"Yeah. By the way how many Helios are there here and how many clans."

"Well there are 4 Helios and 4 clans including ours. There are suppose to be 5 but along time ago one powerful clan mixed with another powerful clan and made our clan. They mixed because of two clan leaders being mates and all that forbidden love stuff and yada yada. The leader of all of them is our leader which we call the fire prince because he is a Pyro." She tells me.

"Okay now come help me like you promised," I tell her. She walks over and helps me unpack.

I'm glad I made a new friend but I still wonder what she meant in her whisper.
