Eros p.o.v.

Today is Friday and I am so excited, because tomorrow is my birthday and I will finally find my element. I'm so happy my birthday is on Saturday and we get next week off.

I walk into school and it was weird like yesterday. Yesterday nobody asked me out which I was happy about, but I though it was weird. Usually I get asked out 5 times a day (mostly by girls), but yesterday zilch. Also people started to get nervous around me which is weird.

I would have asked my friends about it, but I lost my phone two nights ago and found it this morning and the battery was dead, and they didn't come to school yesterday or I didn't have a class with them. I had to spend lunch with my siblings which wasn't bad. Though they would give me weird looks and smile.

As I walk to the library I get tackled to the ground by two screaming girls.

"Why didn't you tell us," they scream in unison. I get them off of me and look at them confused. "What haven't I told you," I ask.

"That you're dating Damien Kyles," Gina tells me.

My eyes go wide. "What," I scream."Who told you that?"

"It's all over the school website and newspaper, the Clan cutie dating the--," Jenna gets cut off by Diana.

"It was a lie guys. Eros is not dating Damien. Damien already wrote on all his social media that it was lie and they aren't dating," Diana tells them. They all nod their heads.

We then walk into one of the many private rooms of the library. I saw all my siblings, the rest of my friends, Hebe, Hebe's friends, Damien, Damien's friends, and a blonde little boy giggling on Damien's lap.

"Who's that and what's wrong with him. Children and dogs are good judge of character, and we all know Damien," I whisper to Diana.

She smiles at me. "That's our little brother," she tells me. "Let me introduce you guys," she drags me over to where Gaby and Scarlett are gushing over the little guy and he seems to like the attention.

"Nicky I wanted you to meet someone. This is Eros," she introduces. As I get closer to say hey the Nicky jumps off of Damien's lap and onto me as I catch him.

"Hello E my name is Dominic most people call me Dom, but you can call Nick," he tells me.

"Wow he likes you. He only let's his family call him Nick," Diana says.

"Well I'm honored. Thank you Nick," I tell him.

"You should be," he says back and I laugh.

"Oh how I wish I had a little brother like you," I say. I see Gabby tense up when I said that. What the Hell? I need to ask her about it.

"Well c'mon bud it's almost time for kindergarten," Damien says as he takes him off me.

"Can E come too, please," Nick asks.

"I don't know. You have to ask him," Damien tells him.

He runs over to me and grabs my hand. "You're coming with us," he tells me. Usually if an adult orders me like that I would be pissed, but on little kids it's cute.

When we walk near Demon he grabs his hand too.

As we walk out of the library I see a quick flash before it disappears. Weird.

"So Nick where were you on Monday? I didn't see you at your house," I say.

"Oh. I was at my best friend Dustin's. House for a sleepover," he tells me.

The three of start talking as we walk out of school and a block or two away to the elementary school. When we get there me and Nick reluctantly said goodbye and made me promised that I would come see him.

Nick p.o.v.

My big brother takes me to class and says goodbye to me.

When I get into the classroom a lot of students run up to me ask me to do something with the. "Hey Dom want to make a puzzle." "Hey Dom want to play tag at recess" "Dom want to color a picture together" "Dom want to sit together during singing time."

Before I can say anything the teacher mrs.Lily speaks. "Dominic could you come here for a sec," she asks. I run over to her immediately. I don't want to hurt those people's feelings, but I can't do it all, so I don't say anything.

"So Dominic as you know since you're class leader you have the responsibility to take care of new students and be their friends," she says and I nod my head.

"Well we have a new student. His name Mordecai and I want you to show him around and be his friend," she tells me.

"Okay," I say happily. I like making new friends. She smiles and we walk to the back door and see a woman with long brown hair smiling and something hiding behind her.

"Come out Kai. Nobody is going to hurt you," the brown haired woman says.

"I don't want to go momma. I want to go home and meet my brothers and sisters," Kai says. His mom moves away and kneels next to him. "They're at school too right now," she says.

"Well I can wait," he counters.

"Sorry honey, but nobody can take care of you. Daddy and I have classes to teach and I don't want you to be scared and alone on your first day back."

After a long silence the kid says, "fine" and gives his mom a big hug and kiss on the cheek. When she leaves he turns to us looking down. His brown hair covers his face. When I see a tear fall on the ground I walk over to him and give him a big hug. I don't know why, but I feel like I need to protect him and make him feel better.

"It's going to be okay. Your mommy will come back you'll see. In the mean time why don't we go play with some of the kids," I say.

"What if they don't like me," he asks.

"They will like you and if they don't I will kick their booty," I say. I hear him snort and giggle. I like his giggles.

"Okay," he says and looks up and at me. When he looks at me I gasp. He is the most beautiful boy I've ever seen and his eyes are a really pretty blue.

"Hi I'm Mordecai, but people call me Kai," he says and it takes me out of my daze.

"Hi Kai, I'm Dominic, but you can call me Nick," I say.

"Okay Nicky," he says. Poo, he already gave me a nickname I need to give him one too.

"Let's go Kai..y," I say and grab his hand. Kaiy really that's stupid I tell myself.

He giggles. "Kaiy is funny," he says.

When we get to my best friend Dustin he looks at our hands and smirks.

"Hey Dommy who's your friend," he asks.

"This is Kai," I say.

"Hi Kai. I'm Dustin. It's nice to meet you," he says and they shake hands for a little too long if you ask me.

For the rest if the day we all played, colored, sang and took a nap together. Kaiy's mom forgot to get him a blanket and pillow for nap time, so I shared with him. He was really cold too so I cuddled with him to keep him warm of course.

Damien p.o.v.

I am one of the first people out of the lockeroom since I love what we're going to do for P.E. today. Today we are going to do combat which is always fun. I get to take out my frustration on somebody.

The teacher Coach Ganger though can be a jerk though sometimes. When we do combat he sometimes puts one of big football players against one of the tiny nerds who made fun of him.

"Class as you know today we are doing combat and remember the rules. No biting, no clawing, and no magic," coach tells the class when everybody is out.

Combat is simple. All you have to do is fight and follow the rules. If you lose your fight you're out, if you win you're still in. There is 6 fights at a time and 2 people per fight. The only problem is that coach has control on who fights when and who. You could fight 30 people while somebody has only fought 2 and you guys have to fight.

That is what happened to me today. I fought against 10 good fighters before I lost. On my 11th fight I had to fight Thomas Eldhighn. He is one of the best fighters in Freya's clan and in the whole school. He also only fought 5 people and only 2 were really difficult. Coach did it on purpose. Thomas is one of his favourites and he knew I could whop his ass if it was fair. I almost beat him too even though I was exhausted, but he got a good punch in.

Now I'm resting on the bleachers waiting for the games to be over. Almost everybody has lost and there are only a few people in the fight.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and I look up to see Zane standing next to me looking worried.

"What's wrong man," I ask. He usually is never worried.

"Dude you know what he's doing," he says.

I look at him confused. "Who is doing what," I ask.

"Coach. He's going to humiliate Eros in front of the class."

"How?" Zane sits down and explains.

"Well me and Kendall had to fight each other. I was going to let him win, but he told me just to push him down and pin him down or else he would have to fight somebody who isn't as nice. I was like sure anything to have him pinned under me."

"What does this have to do with Eros," I ask.

"Oh yeah sorry. Well when Kendall was done him and Ivan started to notice the Eros wasn't fighting. Then they realized that almost everybody has fought and lost except Eros. That's when they came to the conclusion that Coach didn't put Eros, because Eros could lose, and is going to wait till the winner which will be Thomas to have Eros fight, so everybody will be watching when Thomas beats up Eros," he tells me.

On Wednesday Eros said something about coaches intelligence which got him mad. This must be his revenge.

That's when I look over at Eros and see he isn't sweating or looking tired. Instead he looks scared a little. He must have came to the same conclusion.

'kill the man' my dragon Damon says.

'we can't do that' I tell him.

'but Eros doesn't deserve this. If you let him get hurt I will never forgive you'

'you never know. He might be a great fighter'

'yeah and McDonald's French fries could be healthy' I wanted to argue, but I know it's true.

"Class this is the last fight," the bastard says. I look over and see Eros and Thomas in the fighting matt. "I will make you a deal. If Asher wins no more combat for the rest of the year and I will let the class choose what we do everyday. I will also dress up in whatever Asher chooses for a week, but if he loses Combat everyday for a month," he says. He uses Eros first name to bug him.

I close my eyes and groan. He is going to make people mad at Eros for losing and doing combat. I like combat once in a while, but every other day will be exhausting. And to the people who already hate it which is most of the class it is going to get worst.

"Okay ready fighters," coach says with a smirk. I look up and see a shaking Eros. He looks like a scared little puppy.

"3...2...1 go," as soon as he says 1 Eros stops shaking.

Eros immediately kicks Thomas in the balls and Thomas clutches his crotch and falls to his knees. Eros then kicks him in the chest and then grabs the back of Thomas head and brings it into contact with his knee and Thomas falls knockedout.

I look around and see everybody's jaw dropped. Eros smiles at the coach who is surprised and pissed.

"Castillo. That nut shots are not aloud. Go to the front office," he yells at Eros.

"Actually it is. The rule book you gave me doesn't say no nut shot, which means I won fair and square," he says.

"It is common knowledge," he argues.

"It isn't stated so it was aloud."

"Well now it is."

"I still won. Now what size fairy wing are you," Eros says with a smirk.

The whole class cheers and chant, "Eros Eros Eros." I feel proud of him for winning.

'I told you' I tell my Damon.

'We both know you thought he was going to lose' he says back.

I smile at Eros and start chanting.

Eros p.o.v.

After the whole beating Thomas thing nothing else really happened today. I did get weird call from my mom and she told me to come to their apartment after school. Which is where my siblings and I were heading.

Since my parents work at the school they decided to buy an apartment around the school. The drive to the clan isn't too far, but it still far enough that driving back and forth everyday would waste gas and take too long. It usually takes like 30 to 45 minutes to get there.

Gaby opens the apartment door with the key. She looks really tensed even more than this morning.

"Is everything okay," JJ asks.

She sighs, "you'll see."

I frown and we walk into the apartment and see my dad pacing back and forth. He looks stressed and it's weird. He isn't ever this stressed.

"Paps, what's wrong," Ryder asks. My dad looks at us surprised. "I didn't hear you guys come in," he says.

I walk up to him and give him a big hug and my siblings join in afterwards. "It's going to be okay Daddy," I say. Since I'm the baby of the family I still sometimes call my parents mommy and daddy.

I feel my dad relax into the hug and tried to hug us all back.

"Okay kids I need to tell you guys something," he says and gestures us to sit down on the couches. When we sit he countinues.

"When Gabby and JJ were 5 years old and the twins were 1 year old almost 2 your mother and I had sex," he begins and we all gag.

"Dad I don't want to hear about your sex life or how I was created," I say.

He chuckles a little. "Well this isn't about that." He sighs and rubs his forehead. "After your mother and I had sex, your mother started to feel sick and later we found out she was pregnant. 4 months later she gave births."

"Wait I thought Eros was 9 months and I though Scarlett and I were almost 3 when he was born," Ryder asks.

"Exactly. It wasn't Eros," he says.

My jaw drops and so does everybody. Before we can ask anything dad puts his hand up to quiet us.

"When he was born there was a sickness that was going around the clans. He was too weak to fight it. Your mother and I were really depressed and cried every night."

"I remember that. I would always ask what's wrong and I never got a clear answer," JJ says.

"Well before your brother got worst a wood nymph kidnapped him and brought him to the woods. We followed her and tried to find him. When we did it was too late. The Nymph and her friends casted a spell that turned him into a tree in our very eyes. Your mother was angry till they told her that the disease was gone and he would now live on as a tree. She was happy that he was alive and healthy. We used to go visit the tree when we lived in the clan and had picnics there.

Well 2 days ago there was a potion outbreak from a nearby camp that started to affect the plant life. Trees were changing into different animals and they didn't know why. They were able to contain it and not a lot of trees were affected. Luckily one of the trees was your little brother. When they tried to reverse the spell instead of turning him back into a tree it turned him back into a boy," He confesses with a smile.

"Wait so I have another older brother. Wait why were you stressed? Why was Gabby stressed. Oh my god Gabby knew," I say.

"Well I didn't know how you guys would react to knowing you had another brother. I was scared you guys might feel betrayed and Gabby met him this morning and he kind of spilled the beans. She didn't know the explanation till now though," he explains. We nod our heads.

"So how will this work. He is like 18 now would he go back and learn stuff or what," Scarlett asks.

"Well the thing is that a tree life is different than a human life. So he didn't age like you guys. He is instead much younger."

"How much younger," I ask.

I hear the door open and we all turn to see mom walk in with a little boy holding her hand. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes. He looks up at us and hides behind mom.

"Don't be scared. They're your new brothers and sisters," mom says. She then turns to us. "Guys meet your 5 year old brother."

"He looks so cute," Scarlett squeals.

"What's your name little guy," Ryder asks.

"Hi, I'm Mordecai, but you can call me Kai."
