Story plot: Hongjoong has been in love with Seonghwa from the day they met, but his insecurities always kept him from speaking up to Seonghwa. The others noticed one by one the way Hongjoong would act around Seonghwa and that raised some questions among them.

It was time for their dance practice. Everyone was working out the details on their individual parts. Hongjoong found it difficult to concentrate on his movements. Why? Simply because he was practicing in the same room as Seonghwa, who has been his crush for quite some time now. All he could do was watch Seonghwa bite his lip, lick his lips and try to perfect his body rolls. Hongjoong sighed, knowing that he needed to focus on his parts if he wanted to do them all perfectly.

Yunho was looking quite surprised at Hongjoong who was visibly struggling with his parts. Something Yunho wasn't used to. His leader was always the first one to get it all perfectly aligned and now it seemed that he was having trouble with everything. Yunho wasn't the only one who noticed. Mingi was peeking at his leader too, who wasn't being the little energy ball he knew he could be. Yunho and Mingi exchanged looks, both questioning the behaviour of Hongjoong.

After a couple more hours of practicing Hongjoong decided it was enough for today since they all worked really hard. But mainly because he wasn't able to focus because he was watching Seonghwa. "Alright, I think we all did a really great job today and we should probably get some rest." He stated as the rest of the group agreed. As they walked out Seonghwa walked next to Hongjoong wrapping his arm around his shoulder causing him to blush the slightest bit. "I'm so tired but satisfied with all the work as well. I'll probably be knocked out as soon as my head hits the pillow!" Seonghwa laughed and smiled at Hongjoong who politely smiled back with his still slightly pink cheeks. "Me too!".

San walked right behind Seonghwa and Hongjoong, spotting the elders pink cheeks. He has been keeping his eye on Hongjoong for quite some time now always spotting the elder blush whenever Seonghwa is around. He was for sure going to have a little chat with Hongjoong out of pure curiosity.

As they all arrived back to the dorms Hongjoong went straight to his room and screamed as loud as he could in his pillow before letting out a sigh. Why was it so hard to just focus or concentrate. Why couldn't he just walk up to him and tell him how he really feels. When and why did everything become so complicate. Probably the worst part of it all is the fact that he doesn't have anyone to share his worries with since he hasn't told anyone. He knows he should because his feelings for Seonghwa are becoming stronger and stronger and his focus is dropping because of that. He pulled the blankets over his head as tears started to form in his eyes. He wasn't really worried about no being accepted, his biggest concern was that Seonghwa didn't feel the same way. If he would ever confess his love and that would be the case, things could become so awkward between them and the last thing Hongjoong wanted was to lose such a close friend. A tear rolled down his cheek as his thoughts were slowly consuming him like they have been doing every night for a week by now.

All the other members were still downstairs chatting about the practice before San finally had the guts to bring up the situation he has been seeing for weeks. "So.. I want to ask you guys something.. I don't know if I'm making this up but.. Do you guys ever notice the way Hongjoong looks at Seonghwa?" Yunho and Mingi exchanged looks before Mingi speaks up "Yeah we do. Yunho and I looked at each other during practice today because we saw him struggling, which is not like him at all and-" "Who was struggling with what?" Seonghwa came around the corner and everyone was looking at each other to turn the conversation around. "Oh we watched a rehearsal video of a dance group and one of the best members wasn't as spot on as usual so we were just questioning the reason" Wooyoung stated quickly as the others felt relieved. "Ah I see, well I'm going to bed and you guys should get going as well. We had a long and exhausting day. We could all use some rest." Seonghwa smiled as the others agreed and followed him upstairs. One thing San knew for sure, he was not going crazy and he had the support of the others.

Hongjoong woke up really early. He needed to practice before the others would be awake since that was the only time he could focus on what he was doing. Once he finally got everything as perfect as he wanted it to be he glanced at the clock. 06:00am it said and Hongjoong went downstairs to make breakfast for the others who were still asleep.

In the mean time San woke up everyone else besides Seonghwa. They needed to continue the conversation they had last night and figure out what to do. As they all sat down in Sans room they listened carefully for any movement. "So.. What can we do? Hongjoong needs out support if this is really a thing." San stated and Yunho replied "It must be a thing right.. We're all seeing him being distracted.." "Now we're speaking of it, I also notice that Hongjoong usually tries to avoid Seonghwa.. He will walk with one of us kind of forcing Seonghwa to walk with someone else.." Wooyoung said and the others nodded in agreement. "Okay so if we believe this is really a thing, how are we gonna bring this to Hongjoong without Seonghwa noticing and of course without scaring Hongjoong.." San asked and they all started sharing their ideas and thoughts.

"I think we should do it tonight. After practice. Hyung will probably go straight to bed and then we can bring Hongjoong over to talk to him. How does that sound?" Yeosang asked and they all agreed. Tonight was going to be the night.

As they expected, Hongjoong kept messing up during practice and he was constantly looking at Seonghwa as if he was monitoring every movement. Seonghwa called it a night and went to bed. They all walked quietly upstairs, since Hongjoong would disappear in his room after every practice they had. Mingi knocked softly on his door "Can we come in?" Hongjoong quickly sat up in his bed "Yeah yeah come in. Is everything alright?" The entered and Yunho closed the door behind them. They all looked at each other wondering who was going to bring it up. Jongho took a deep breath. He may be the maknae but he sure can be very mature for his age. He sat down on Hongjoongs bed "Hyung.. We've all noticed you're not being yourself.. Uhm you just seem very distracted and tired.." Hongjoong felt his heartbeat rise. They couldn't know. He hasn't spoken to anyone! Could it really be that obvious. "We uhm.. We see the way you look at him and-" "Who?!" Hongjoong asked out of pure fear hoping he wasn't right. "Seonghwa hyung.. You get all flustered and we were just wondering if there is anything going on between you guys.." 

This is it. It's the end. The scenario Hongjoong hoped would never happen just happened. He was lost for words which probably said enough for the members who all sat down on his bedroom floor. Yunho got up from the ground and sat down on the other side of Hongjoong wrapping the little minion in his arms. "You know we would never judge you right? You're still our amazing leader and best friend." Hongjoong quietly nodded. "So.. do you want to talk about what's going on?" Jongho asked carefully. "I just.." He closed his eyes trying to hide in Yunho's arms. "I may have had feeling for him for quite some time yes. And the past few weeks with all the practicing these feelings are just growing stronger and stronger.. That's why I mess up.. That's why I can't even get any simple tasks done.. It's all because of him. He's just constantly on my mind.. But I can't tell him that I love him.." "Why not?" Mingi asked. "Why not? Because if he doesn't feel the same way I lose everything! A- and the last thing I want is to lose a friend because of my stupid feelings." "Hey you're feelings are not stupid. You're just in love.. And I think you should and could confess to him" Yeosang smiled softly.

"Yeah me too." Jongho stated and smiled. "You really shouldn't worry about him not feeling the same because I think he feels exactly the same." "You really think so?" "100% sure hyung!" "Alright.. I'll try something tonight.. I just have to work it out in my head." All the others nodded and pulled him into a big group hug.

Seonghwa was preparing dinner. Was it an accident that it was Hongjoongs favorite? Absolutely not. He was just trying to give him small signs that he really liked him but more than just friends. He was getting tired of Hongjoong never getting the subtle hints he was giving him. Maybe he didn't feel the way Seonghwa felt for him, maybe all the hugs, blushes and avoidance were not signs of him actually liking him back.

"Seonghwa can we talk?" Hongjoong asked with all his confidence while he was shaking on his knees.

"Sure sit down what's going on?" Seonghwa turned off the cooking stove to make sure the food wouldn't be ruined.

"I.. I came to talk to you because I uhm.. I need to tell you something.." Hongjoong fiddled with his hoodie becoming more and more nervous as he felt Seonghwa's eyes burning on him. "I'm sorry I'm acting all nervous." He took a deep breath and decided it was best to just throw it out instead of rambling all around it. "Seonghwa hyung.. I love you. But not just in a friendship way.. I really love you and I don't wanna throw away our friendship. I just had to tell you this because my feelings are just growing stronger and stronger and I need to know if you feel the same way or not." Hongjoong kept looking at the ground, too afraid to even look up and meet Seonghwa's eyes.

Seonghwa was speechless. Was this really happening? Did he just really hear that? He stared at Hongjoong for a while while the words he just heard sank in. He pushed himself forward and placed a finger underneath his chin. "I feel the same way.. I.. I love you too Hongjoong. So much.." He wrapped his arms around his waist making Hongjoong stand on his tip-toes before finally placing his lips on his. The moment he has been waiting for for such a long time.

Hongjoong was shocked at fist. Was he dreaming or was this actually happening? He wrapped his arms around Seonghwa's neck and kissed him back ever so softly. He held onto his shirt before slowly moving to his ear "Seongwha.. Do you want to be my boyfriend?" "I would love to be all yours baby". They looked at each other for a while before Hongjoong stood back on his feet and snuggled into his now, boyfriends, strong arms.
