Sorry it took so long to write this chapter. I was seriously stuck on how I wanted it to play out. Hopefully the next chapter won't take as long to write, and maybe it will be longer too. :)

Anyways, enjoy!

Aiden's P. O. V

Shit, what is he doing here? I thought.

Immense panic filled me, and before I knew it, I lost my grip on the paper I was holding. It floated uselessly to the floor, landing  lightly between us, and I swear to you, I believed my death was immanent.

I swallowed hard and watched with growing horror, unable to intervene, my feet frozen to the floor, rendering me immobile, as his eyes drifted slowly down to the paper. He scanned over what was written on it, before he glanced up at me, his eyes full of recognition.

Shit.

Fuck. My. Life.

I was caught, trapped, with no where to go, no excuse to get me out of this predicament.

I was seriously screwed.

He undoubtedly knew, if he hadn't already figured it out, but from the surprise on his face, that wasn't the case, that I was the person who has been sneaking around and hiding letters that proclaimed my feelings for him in poetic words and whatnot in random places that he would stumble upon unexpectedly.

I had done such a good job at remaining anonymous for this long and not giving any hints as to my actions too, but then he had go and ruin everything.

His timing couldn't have been more ironic too. Here I was, attempting to place a note in Nathan's locker that says that I will reveal my identity, and then Nathan shows up and catches me in the act, exposing me right then and there. There was no time for preparation, or last minute regrets, it was like wham, bam, slam: sudden and without warning.

I sucked in a sharp breath and prepared myself for the worst. "Nathan-"

"Its you! You're the one who's been sending me these things!" The surprise and contempt, along with slight disgust, that dripped from his voice caused me to wince and I frowned in discouragement.

Damn, to think my luck was so shitty, I thought with much disappointment.

I had hoped to settle this on Monday, after coming up with a plan to ease Nathan into the knowledge of my stalkerish ways, but that was no longer an option. Now I was going to have to figure out a way to get him to understand why I had done what I did. However, just looking at the way Nathan was warily staring, or well, glaring my way, I could tell this was going to be a difficult task to accomplish.

"Yes, and I apologize, I probably really creeped you out," Nathan snorted as if to say that that was an understatement, but I ignored him and continued on, "but I'd like it if you would just hear me out, please," I said, feeling hopeful.

"And why should I do that?" Nathan looked totally against even the thought of listening to what I had to say, and it only made me want to convince him even more so than before.

"Because, your going to want to hear what I have to say," I reasoned calmly, my eyes pleading for him to agree.

Nathan narrowed his eyes at me, seemed hesitant to make a decision, but finally relented with a reluctant sigh. "Fine, but make it quick, and this better be good."

I let out a soft, humorless laugh. "Oh, I'm sure it will be worth your while," I murmured low enough for him not to hear. I grew nervous then, fearful of his reaction to my next words. "I know you may not believe what I'm about to say, but, to be perfectly honest with you, I've been in love with you for a while now, actually, ever since I met you, I just hadn't realized that fact until it was too late."

Heavy silence hovered in the air as Nathan processed what I said, his face a mask of utter shock, as if he couldn't believe what had just come out of my mouth. I couldn't blame him really. It wasn't that long ago that I had still been in denial of any sort of feelings that proclaimed me gay, constantly trying to prove otherwise with use of violence. Even back then too, I had only shown disgust and whatnot towards the idea of a man even having any interest in me.

But recent events had changed me, for the better of course, and this change was not something Nathan has much experience with, as up until now, he's only known me to be a complete asshole who bullied those who were different.

It was understandable for him to be suspicious and deny my claims, as I'm sure was about to happen, from the way his eyes hardened with hate.

Ah, here it comes, I thought fleetingly, somewhat saddened.

"Ridiculous, your lying," Nathan accused, disbelief written all over his face. His eyes shined with denial, and if my eyes weren't deceiving me, possibly hope.

I blinked and it was gone, and I wondered if I had just imagined that. But, I could only wish that to be true, because if he did, even just a little, want a relationship with me, then that means there was a high chance of me being able to win him over.

"I'm serious," I said, my voice firm, leaving no room for argument. I would not stand for my feelings to be taken as some kind of sick joke.

"Well, I do not believe you, not even for a second," Nathan spat, anger radiating off of him in waves, and my own rage was steadily climbing higher to match his.

"And why is that?" I asked in exasperation.

"Are you kidding me?" Nathan gave me a look that said I was an idiot and I clenched my jaw in response to prevent my smart-aleck remark from escaping me. "There's no way I can believe something like that, not after all that you've done to me."

Ah, of course that would be the reason, I thought without much surprise, having already expected such a response.

"I know in the past I did horrible things to you, but I'm serious. Back then I was blind to those feelings, or well, I perhaps didn't want to acknowledge them at all, but I've changed, and you know that. So why is it so hard to believe me when I say this?" I frowned his way, feeling annoyed.

"Because this is you were talking about. How do I know your not just playing some sort of trick on me, lying to get what you want?" He spat, spouting wild assumptions.

You have got to be kidding me!

A twitch started in my jaw from how angered I was by those words.

"Then how about I prove it to you," I snapped and Nathan's eyes widened a bit with anticipation.

"What? And how exactly are you going to do that?" He asked, his tone cautious. Its like he could read my mind, hear all my thoughts, but that didn't mean he could defend himself from what I was about to do next.

I took a step forward, bring us close together, enough so that our noses were practically touching, and planted my lips onto his before he cold do anything to stop me.

Nathan stiffened the moment our lips connected and made a move to escape, but I would not have that.

I had to make him believe that I really did have feelings for him, and this might be the only way to penetrate that through his head.

Granted I was taking a huge risk in doing this. He could end up hating me even more so and think I'm playing with his life yet again, resorting to tormenting him in a different manner. Or, he could end up accepting my feelings and start to show some back.

This kiss could determine whether this ship will set sail, or sink into the bottomless sea.

If he responds to my kiss, even a little, then I would pursue him fully and without restraint, but if he immediately pushed me away, then I would give up forever on him.

Oh, I could only hope he would react positively.

The first thing I noticed was how soft his lips felt against mine, smooth and moist, and then I was awake with awareness. I was conscious of everything about him: his body heat, his breath as it fanned along my face, sending delicious chills down my spine; the way I fit perfectly against him, as if we were undoubtedly meant to be; the way he smelled.

Nathan's sent wafted my senses, and the taste of him on my lips drove me to the brink of insanity, and I had to fight for control over my own actions.

Nathan shuddered, whether from disgust or desire I wouldn't know, but I took this opportunity to press closer to him, feeling myself starting to grow hot with arousal. My heat pounded against my chest. I felt like it was going to burst out of me from how hard it was beating, and it was all because of Nathan.

Just kissing him was making me go out of whack, I'd never felt anything like this. It both scared and thrilled me at the same time. My mind went blank, empty of all thoughts except for Nathan, he was all that occupied my thoughts at the moment.

I wanted more of him. I wanted to touch him more, taste him more, I wanted it all.

It was crazy how this boy was making me feel.

I felt as if my world had erupted with fireworks. My body tingled and my insides burned and swirled with the desire to do more than just kiss Nathan right then and there.

I ran my tongue along Nathan's lips, asking for permission to enter, and for a second I thought Nathan was going to give in and surrender to me, but then, as if something had came over him, he started fiercely struggling.

"Get off me," Nathan shouted the moment he broke free from my lips, his voice filled with panic and anger.

He shoved at me chest hard and I stumbled back, unable to compete against his strength. I had, in fact, only been able to kiss him because I had surprised him, if I had tried at an other time when he was expecting it, then I would not have been able to do it in the first place.

Nathan was bigger then me now, and stronger, as he had worked his way up to this point with revenge on his mind. If there was a possibility that we did get together, I can only see myself being the girl in the relationship, and as much as that revelation damaged my pride as a man, there was no way I can picture it otherwise.

I made a move to straighten up and walk Nathans way, but he bared his teeth and glared deadly my way. His hostility pierced through the air and froze me to the spot.

Oh, shit, I think I might have gone a little bit too far.

Ah, who am I kidding, this whole situation is just messed the fuck up, just like my life apparently.

"So... do you believe me now?" I asked, unable to think of what else to do or say.

It was the wrong decision.

I think I would have been better off keeping my mouth shut, I thought, hating my own stupidity when he look on Nathan's face turned murderous.

"You son of a bitch," Nathan curse and swung his fist my way.

I was slow to react, probably due to the after affects of the kiss more than anything else. His fist connected with the side of my cheek. My head snapped back, bringing my body with it, and my back slammed into the wall behind me. My hand flew up to press lightly against my wound and I flinched as it throbbed with pain.

Damn, he's got a strong punch.

"I hate you," Nathan spat, gaining my full attention, and I could have sworn that his eyes glistened with unshed tears. "I may have forgiven what you had done to me in the past, but obviously that was a mistake. I hate you, with everything I have in me, and I will not let you think otherwise. So stop bothering me, you're an eyesore!" Nathan spat, eyes blazing, and spun around on his heels and sprinted away.

The words were a blow to the core, and the moment Nathan was out of sight, I slid down the wall and collapsed to the floor, all my strength leaving me at once.

It had taken everything in me to just stand their as he flung those hateful words at me.

I dropped my head onto my hands and moaned quietly with regret.

How could I have bee so stupid?

I just ruined everything! I let out a sigh. Well, its not like I can take back everything I just did. I'll just have to deal with the consequences of my actions yet again.

But then something occurred to me and my head snapped up to look in the direction of where Nathan had run off to. The looks in his eyes, now that I thought about it, hadn't matched the words that he was saying.

They hadn't burned with anger or hate, no, they shown brightly with lust and desire, and a lot of denial.

A grin spread along my face as this occurred to me, and I couldn't seem to contain my happiness despite the pain smiling brought me due to my bruised cheek.

Hmm, that bastard isn't being very honest with himself.

Oh well, I'll just have to make him be truthful to himself, now won't I.

I stood up and dusted off my pants, then headed off into the direction of the parking lot, feeling more light hearted than ever.
