Hey guyss this is the last chapter then it will have an epilogue and maybe a few oneshots ;)

I have holidays right now so i've been studying when i really want to write. Today im writing and taking a break. I hope you enjoy this chapter, its quite cute and a bit funny, if its not, sorry i tried....

Free season 1 finished and i also finished watching vampire diaries, what am i going to do now? pff write of course ;) ahha i want to really, but i must study >< nah but expect some new stories once they are properly planned anddd help me reach my goals :)

Chapter 22- Final Chapter

We're meant to be; you and me

Aiden's POV

A few months had passed since we first got together and I couldn't be any happier. Tonight was our high school's formal and Xavier had asked me to go. Just thinking about it makes me blush.

We were over at my house, in my room to be specific and we were 'studying' well he was studying. It was like a study date. It was his last year of school and he wanted to study. I wanted to go out somewhere but he suggested this instead which i agreed to. He arrived at my house right after i ate dinner. My parents had gone out to watch a movie and I was home alone.

When the doorbell rang I ran down the stairs, careful not to trip and fall. I found the key under some paperwork and quickly unlocked the door. My mind flashed back to how I first met him, at New Year's Eve and I smiled. I stared at him intently and he dropped his bag on the ground. I flung my arms around him and hugged him close to me.

"Can I come inside, it's kinda cold" he asked, a smirk probably on his face.

I walked backwards and he kicked the door shut. I lifted my eyes from his chest up to his eyes. He smiled down at me and I reddened. I pressed my lips hard against him and he returned the kiss. He pushed me against the wall and held me up as my legs failed to keep me standing.

After a few minutes, he slowly released me and took a step back. "Aiden, I have to study we can kiss later" I sighed following him up to my room. I fell back onto my bed and he came in a few minutes later with his bag. I wanted another kiss, he was such a great kisser. 

"Can we kiss Xavier?" he gave me a look and ignored me laying his books out on the desk. He sat down and opened his textbook. I crossed my arms across my chest and laid on my side watching him. As the glasses he wore slid down his face, his shirt tightened around his muscles and his tongue licked his lips. All these things he was doing was tempting me.

"Are you sure you have to study?" I asked again with a mumbled yes as a response. I slid off the bed sneakily and crept up behind him. I stopped right next to his ear and held my breath.

"Aren't study dates meant to be fun?" I asked letting out my breath and whispering to him. He jumped startled by my sudden presence.

"We can have fun later, I really need to do this, don't make me go home and study alone" he said tiredly. We stayed up late talking the last few days and I don't think he's been having much sleep. Defeated by my guilty conscience I stood up. 

I stepped back and flopped back down on my bed on my stomach. I was being selfish. I pulled my homework out of my schoolbag and flipped to the right page. I glanced back at Xavier and he smiled at me. I grinned and turned back to my book. I might as well finish this so we will both be free from homework, at least for a little while. 

A few hours later, the sky was darkening and I had finally finished that math homework that was due last week and the studying I had to do for next week's test. I turned my head to see Xavier asleep. I took soft steps and stopped next to him. I crouched down next to him and kissed him lightly on the lips. He stirred and I closed my eyes, I was tired I thought standing back up. I better let him sleep, I've been keeping him from it.

I took one step and arms wrapped around my waist. I gasped scared and fell onto the floor. I turned around so I was facing the culprit. "Sorry, I didn't mean for you to fall" he checked me for injuries and placed me down carefully on the bed.

"I'm alright really, don't worry about it" I said reassuring him. He sat down next to me and held onto my hand. He stayed silent and then turned to me. He put his free hand on my cheek and gave me a nervous look.

"Aiden" he said softly pressing a kiss to my hand. I blushed pink and looked at him. "Would you like to go with me to the formal?" I paused truly surprised. He wanted me to go with him. My eyes lit up and my heart starting beating just that little bit faster.

I opened my mouth and no sound came out. I pulled him into a hug and kissed him on the cheek. "I-I would love to Xavier" I stuttered out and a pink tinged my face with embarassement. 

"I knew you would say yes" he teased smirking at me.

I glared at him, "I take it back then, I'll go with someone else" I huffed.

"I'm sorry, please go with me" he pleaded. I winked at him and pulled him in for a kiss.

I took a breath, "The only person I want to go with is you" he smiled at me. We ended up kissing until he had to leave since my parents came home. When he left and pulled me in a for a kiss goodnight, that was the first time I really wanted to tell him my feelings. I knew this time it was real.

That was the moment that I wanted to say "I love you". My emotions were overflowing for him. Every time I saw him, I wanted to blurt out the truth. After a lot of thinking since that day I had decided to tell him on the night of the formal.

All my friends had come over to get ready. I was going with Xavier, Amelia was going with Alex and my sister Sienna was going with Zac. This was going to be a memorable night i just know it. 

I opened my closet and took out my suit. I laid it down on the bed and looked at it with admiration, my parents had brought it for me a few weeks ago just for this event. I showered and walked into my room and froze.

Xavier was standing there in his suit and looking out the window. I was only in my underwear and I felt exposed. I treaded carefully to my clothes but was stopped by a chuckle. I shot a glare at Xavier who had turned around, probably sensing me there. I quickly pulled on my clothes before he could stare at my body any longer. When I was done I took a quick glance in the mirror and let out a small smile. I looked pretty good. 

I left Xavier in my room and styled my hair. I splashed my face with water to get rid of my blush. I walked back into the room and Xavier was standing in the middle of it. He held my jacket in his hand and my tie was around his neck. "That's mine" I started but he shook his head, smiling a cheeky smile. 

I gapped, he stepped closer to me. He crashed his lips down to mine and I kissed him back. He ended the kiss and placed the jacket around my body. He pulled me closer for another kiss and I could feel the blush returning to my face. He stopped and stared at me for a moment. Before pulling a camera out and taking a picture of me. The flash blinded me for a second and when I got my vision back. He was gone with my tie... and probably a horrible photo of me.

I raced downstairs after hearing his laughter. He was next to my friends and they were all laughing. I walked straight up to Xavier glaring at him and pulled the camera from his grip. I turned away from them and flipped to the picture. It wasn't even a bad picture; it was actually a pretty good. I faced Xavier with a confused look and he just stuck his tongue out at me.

"Can I have my tie back?" I asked him, he shook his head and backed away from me. I tackled him to the ground and sat on top of him. I pulled my blue tie away from his and tied it around my neck. I flashed him an innocent smile and he pulled me down for a kiss.

"Come on guys, we have to go" I heard Amelia call out impatiently. "Xavier, Aiden save that for later!" she called to us. I got off him embarrassed and gave him a hand up. We walked towards the car and Sienna drove us to the school.

This was our Senior Formal and it was their last high school formal. We had to make it count. We had to make it special.

When we arrived at the school, my sister handed out a mask, as we had a masquerade theme. Xavier wore a simple blue mask complimenting the silver tie he wore and I wore the opposite. We matched and it was quite cute. 

We walked into the school hand in hand. Our friends followed behind us. We sat down at a table and food was served.

I picked up a piece of chicken and popped it in my mouth. A great start to the night! We shared our food and fed each other. By the time we had finished our dinners our faces were messy with food. It had turned into a mini food fight. Sienna and Amelia was giving us looks of disapproval.

"Lighten up!" I shouted at them over the music that was playing. Sienna sighed and mouthed an ok to me. Then she dragged Zac onto the dance floor. Amelia and Alex soon followed them and so did everyone else. It just left me and Xavier alone. I cleaned the food off his face and he did the same to mine. 

"Let's go dance" I yelled over the music and linked our hands. We ran onto the dance floor and danced like crazy. We posed overdramatically for photos and requested our favourite songs.

We went to the bathroom and no one else was there. Xavier locked the door and set the camera on the shelf. He put it on a timer and we posed for photos. We ended up kissing and were interrupted by a knock on the door. I grabbed the camera and we walked out the door as if we weren't kissing or anything.

We got back on the dance floor and Amelia gave me a knowing look and I just stuck my tongue out at her. The music changed to a slower song. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around my waist. We waltzed around the room laughing and having an amazing time dancing horribly.

The night was coming to an end and I still hadn't told him. I walked out of the blasting music to outside the school. I leant against the fence looking out at our beautiful city. Xavier joined me and I looked across at him. The moonlight was hitting him in all the right spots and it left me speechless for a second.

He was really beautiful. I hugged him tightly and looked up at him. Light rain had started to fall but our closeness was keeping me warm.

"Xavier" I started, he looked right at me giving me his full attention without a word. "I wanted to tell you something for a long time now, since the day we first met I knew you were someone special...that I had to have you in my life....I don't know if you will feel the same way but I had to tell you tonight" I placed my hand lightly on his cheek and placed my finger at his mouth as he started to say something.

"I l-love you so much Xavier" I whispered and stepped back away from him. Waiting for a response from him, I nervously looked him straight in the eyes.

"You really love me?" he asked. 

"Yes I love you a lot" I confirmed more confidently. His eyes held happiness and all my worries faded. He took a step towards me and closed the space between us.

He picked up my hand and placed a light kiss on it. He kissed me on the cheek then on the side of my mouth. By that time I was dying for a kiss from him. I took action myself and kissed him right the lips. Our lips moved together and I let go of his hand to place a hand on his neck and the other in his hair. He had his arms around my waist and was pulling me tighter to him.

He stopped kissing me for one second and looked at me with those sparkling eyes. He held our hands together and took one step backwards, so that only our hands joined us.I smiled at the intimate moment we were having and he smiled back. 

"Aiden" he began, "tonight was absolutely wonderful and I'm really happy...I didn't know how much my life would change but when I met you everything did...I couldn't focus, couldn't sleep, couldn't do anything without thinking of you...what I'm trying to say is that, you're the one that I want to be with forever and its because..." he cupped my face in his hands giving me a heartfelt, loving smile.

"I love you too"

I took quite a long time to finish this story almost 10 months but i really hope you have enjoyed it. I put a lot of work into this and im just really happy how it turned out in the end.

The epilogue ill try and write quickly!!
