Chapter Seven

Capturing the cute moments

I got out of the car and walked across the street. We walked in with a stream of people into the theme park  and I noticed it was quite crowded.

We bought our tickets and went into the theme park. It looked awesome. I hadn't been here in ages.  "Ok, let's split up into partners" Sienna announced. I glanced slyly at Xavier, catching his eye. He had a wary look in his eye, but nodded. Alex and Amelia left to the Haunted house and Sienna and Zac went to get something to eat. Leaving just me and Xavier, I quickly grabbed Xavier's hand and raced off towards the area with all the fun rides.

"Let's go, Xavier!" I shouted over all the noise. I felt like a little kid, I just loved theme parks so much. We went on a fast rides and a few rollercoaster type ones. We were messing around and teasing other, it was really great. It felt like we were becoming closer, which was defintely a good thing.

Then we went on this ride that spins you around fast. We sat together inside the crammed space, I grinned to myself. I held onto his hand and he had a slight blush on his face. As it spun, I got pushed around making me land on Xavier. I was hovering over him as the ride was gradually slowing down. I leaned closer towards him, staring him straight in the eyes, keeping eye contact with him.

I brushed my thumb over his lips, watching him slightly close his eyes subconsciously. I smiled at that, leaning in to go to kiss him, for real this time. But I slipped as the ride jolted to a stop, making me fall right on top of him. It puts us in this awkward position but taking advantage of it, I run my hand down his chest, over his abs then move off him just as the ride attendant opens the hatch.

Looking back at him, seeing that he was slightly frozen, "You have abs" I told him as I slipped out of the ride. He followed suit behind me, I glanced back at him, seeing his reddening face. "You're a little red Xavier" I told him in a teasing tone, "It's cute, you know" I gave him a smile and walked towards the next ride, queuing in the line.

He seemed a little quiet, maybe I had pushed it too far. But I had to get him to lighten up and have fun, it was our last weekend of freedom after all.

"Xavier, are you alright?" I touched his shoulder turning him around to face me. Looking up a little, I couldn't help but have a look of concern on my face. I studied his facial expressions as he answered, "It's nothing, I'm just a little tired, don't need to worry about me" a smile breaking out on his face.  "Ok good" I smiled back at him, letting it go for now.

We went on a few more rides after that then decided to call it a day, we were tired and the park was closing soon. Walking back to the entrance, I spotted a ride, the perfect ride to end our day, "Xavier, could we go on the Ferris wheel together?" "Sure, let's go" giving me a smile.

We ran towards the line and it seemed like they had the same idea as us. Sienna, Zac, Alex and Amelia were also in the line, just ahead of us. I waved at them and leaned against the railing as we waited in line. Then I was trapped, Xavier had both his arms on the railing. "No funny business up there, alright?" he said in an intimidating tone.

Did he really think that would stop me? "I would never" I smirked at him, walking towards the chair that just arrived. I sat down and Xavier sat next to me. "Seriously Aiden, I don't like heights"

"Ok ok, don't worry" I gave him a reassuring smile. As the ride started moving, the world moved too. The scenery was magical, the city lights and the ocean could be seem just a little way away. It looked like my imagination, I should really get a photo. Then Xavier laid his head on my shoulder, it felt like I was on top of the world. I didn't want the ride to end, then just as we were about to get off, a flash went off. I blinked rapidly trying to regain my eyesight, I looked around spotting Amelia.

I gave her a questioning look, "What? You guys look cute together and I thought you would like to remember this" she said shrugging. I smiled at her, walking up to her I whispered in her ear" Send me that later, ok?" "Sure no problem" she told me giving me a sly wink. I was a little surprised by that notion but I passed it off as nothing. She couldn't possibly know.

We drove to the restaurant, everyone was quiet, tired from the day's events. We soon arrived there and we all got out of the car and walked in. It looked pretty alright, we had a reservation and we got shown our seats. I sat next to Alex and Amelia with Xavier directly opposite me. I was a little disappointed I didn't get to sit with him but I didn't let it show.

"Hi!, Are you ready to order?" I turned my head at the voice, it was a guy, a pretty cute one at that. I gave him a flirty smile and a wink. Why was I so relaxed when flirting with other guys, but when it comes to Xavier I'm a complete mess. Well, I have a pretty good idea why.

I smirked at the slight blush that appeared on his cheeks. Sienna gave me this slight glare, I shrugged and slumped back into my seat. I was only being playful, after all it was Xavier that I had a crush on. 

"Let's order guys!" Zac stated enthusiastically, lifting up all our moods. Hmmm, what should I order, too much to choose from. We each ordered in turn, I was last, one last little flirt wouldn't hurt right? "I want...hmmmm you" I indicated giving him a suggestive look, he blushed bright red and look flustered. I struggled to hold in my laugh, he just looked hilariously adorable. "Actually, I change my mind, I'd like a chicken parma" I let out a chuckle as he left the table.

The table was giving me a look, oh shit, did I just out myself. What were they all thinking? "What's up?" I was impatient to hear their answers, what would they think? Have they noticed my flirting with Xavier or....

"Why were you so mean to the poor boy?" Amelia directed at me. I froze, relief washed over me. It's still a secret, for now.

"I was just teasing, I like to see people blush I think its cute" I admitted, with a little red tinted on my cheeks. They all laughed, teasing me, making little jokes about me. I just laughed along with them and told them to shut up, once I had, had it.

"You're cute when you blush too" Xavier told me, I froze slightly the words slowly sinking in. A bright grin broke out on my face at his comment and coming from him it was just ten times better. We started making general conversation as we waited for our food to be served, the sun was setting and it was going to be dark soon.

"Hey Amelia, can you send me that photo now?" whispering my words to her. She nodded a smug look appearing on her face. She took out her phone and scrolled to that picture, I leaned in closer to have a look. I couldn't help but smile at the photo, it looked like a fantasy. The lighting was just right and the quality was great too. I promptly received the photo on my own phone and I saved it as my wallpaper. Locking the screen I couldn't help but keep on staring at the photo, it was a moment to be remembered.

"Thanks Amelia, it's really nice" I told her, she just smiled at me and resumed her conversation with my sister. I glanced around the restaurant taking in the beautiful view from my seat and the décor inside the restaurant. I think I want to take some kind of design course at uni, it would be amazing.

The food arrived shortly after, the boy was gone though, too bad. Instead it was a pretty girl, but no one gave her any attention besides a quick thanks. As they were hungry and were focused on other matters, it seemed like I wasn't the only one that had eyes on someone else in the friendship group...Alex and Amelia seemed closer than ever.

I tucked into my dinner, eagerly finishing my whole meal in record time. I leaned back against my seat, wanting to daydream a little. Then I felt the chair move a little and that tiny movement made me lose my balance. I groaned in pain, closing my eyes from the bright lights of the ceilings. When I opened them, Xavier was hovering above me with a worried look. I could also see Alex off to the side, laughing with his hand covering his mouth. I leaned around Xavier and gave him a glare which he just shrugged off with a grin.

"You're an idiot, Aiden" I heard my sister say, "Hey!, It wasn't entirely my fault" I mumbled back in response. Xavier, held hands with me and pulled me up. The smile never left my face as I felt his warm, soft hands against mine. I was reluctant let go but I did hold on just that little bit longer. Giving him a sly wink, I thanked him and picked up my chair, sitting back down in it. I gave Alex a shove, for laughing at me.

Finishing our food, we paid and once again got into the car. The drive home was uneventful, everyone was tired and sleepy. When we arrived at my house, I swiftly got out of the car and unlocked the door. He brushed past me and I longed to feel his touch again. I followed them in and closed the door behind me.

"Want to watch a movie?" Sienna asked, we nodded in agreement and settled down in the living room. I noticed there was only one space left for me to sit and it was next Xavier and it looked like there wasn't much room, but I was not going to sit on the floor for two hours. It was pretty nice to relax after walking and playing all day.

I went to the kitchen and made some popcorn and got some drinks before taking them to everyone else. Sienna sat alone, while Amelia, Alex and Zac took up the main couch. Xavier was sitting in the two seater, spread out but when he noticed me come in, he sat up so that I would be comfortable too. I sat down and placed the food and drinks on the coffee table. I made myself comfortable in my seat and we were watching: Silver Linings Playbook. From the reviews I've heard about it, it didn't seem too bad.

As the movie started I become somewhat restless and didn't feel at ease. I casted a sidelong glance at Xavier and he was watching me out of the corner of his eye, as I stared at him. I was considering if I he would mind if I lay on him, I moved a tiny bit closer to him and kept eye contact with him. I blushed slightly as I hugged him and lay my head on his chest. As if it was magic, I felt surprisingly really comfortable, the movie was forgotten.

All I could think about was the fact that I was touching Xavier and he didn't mind, I looked up at him and he gave me but if not slightly awkward smile. I could feel his hard chest, I was on cloud nine, in absolute heaven. No one else had noticed, they were too focused on the movie, then I felt him wrap his arms around me and I grinned madly.

My eyes were starting to get heavy and I shut my eyes for just a rest, then I fell asleep.

When I woke, I was in my bed and I noticed that Xavier was next to me. Zac was also here but he was on the couch to the side. What had happened? I looked down under the covers and I was in my underwear and Xavier was too. Who stripped me? I blushed red, why couldn't I have been awake when that happened! I groaned, feeling Xavier stir next to me, so I shut up.

I stared at him, his beautiful face illuminated by the moonlight, his hair was falling onto his face and I swept it back to its normal look, with the tip of my fingers. His hair was so silky smooth, I scooted closer to his sleeping form, wrapping my arms around him. I sighed at the feeling on his body against mine, sporting a small smile, he was so warm. I cuddled him and I felt him snuggle into me, then I fell asleep with a long lasting smile on my face.

I love sleeping with Xavier, if you know what I mean...

 There will likely be another new chapter at the end of this month, because i have holidayssss.
