(A/N AT THE END GUYS..)
(Kellin's POV)
When Vic called, I felt like my heart would burst from my chest. Even if I hated being on the phone, he was different, the situation was different, everything was so different right now. I didn't even know what to say, not knowing how he was, whether he was playing the I Don't Need Anyone card or if he was being realistic, and was somewhat fragile right now.
I answered quickly, yawning just as I pressed the device to my ear, not wanting to keep him waiting. "Hey, Vic." I say.
"Kellin," he said, sounding tired, gloomy, and maybe a bit slurred. "It's so nice to hear your voice, darling." I furrow my eyebrows, blushing but questioning his state. Was he okay? "Is something wrong, Vic?" I ask right after. "Hmm? Of course not, lovely. Hey, you should come ov--"
"I'll be on the way soon. I need to check on you, Vic."
And it was the truth. I stood up from my bed, checking the clock; 4:37 in the morning. I yawn again and slowly pad to my closet. I wished I could see him right now, just to see if he was okay without going over there. But even as tired as I was, I knew I needed to check on him.
After throwing on black jeans and a Four Year Strong hoodie, I brush my teeth and slide a beanie over my bed hair. Grabbing my phone off my bed, I head out quickly and quietly. Vic calls again before I can even reach the curb at his house. I'm standing in the middle of the road with the cold wind freezing my ass-cheeks off and biting at my nose.
I quickly pick up again, feeling slightly annoyed, even if it was Vic. "Kellin, no, um, don't come over." He says quickly.
"Vic, I've already gotten dressed and everything. Why wouldn't I?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows and walking to stand on the curb, hopping to try to produce body heat. "Please just don't. I do not want you here." Vic says quietly. Even though I was sure he hadn't meant it, it still hurt me when he said it. Something must be wrong and be doesn't want me to know. I shake my head and purse my lips, letting out an annoyed sigh.
"I don't like being on the phone, but I am, for you." I say, chewing on my lip. "T-That's different." I shake my head and look up, seeing him in the office window, looking down at me. He looked down at me, looking somewhat paler than I remember. It made me worry that much more.
I hang up, holding my eyes on his, and start towards the back door.
When I reach the door, he's walking towards it. Before he can lock me in the cold, I push the door open and close it behind me, then face him. He stands with a hand over his mouth. In the light from the moon, I can see a tear on each of his cheeks. I step forward and wipe them. his cheek is cold to my touch.
He leads me to his room slowly, sighing along the way. I knew what he was thinking: He's so stubborn; he was absolutely right, I myself knew how stubborn I was. I shut the door behind us as he sits on the floor beside his bed. At first, I didn't know what to do but then it seemed clear after a few seconds. I situate next to him and secure an arm around his shoulder.
"Tell me what's the matter, Vic."
"You know what's wrong." He sighs. I nod, "I do but why didn't want me to come?"
He shakes his head. "Didn't want you to see me like this." It was my turn to shake my head, and I place a kiss on his cheek gingerly. "Still the cutest thing in the world." He blushes a little and I grin. I tug him a little and he lays his head on my shoulder. "Thank you for coming anyway. I did want to see you." I roll my eyes, "You're so bipolar, darling."
"Whatever," he grins, nudging my side. "Thanks anyway."
Silence falls around us and he made no attempt to change that. Maybe he didn't to talk, maybe he really did only want to see me. His head slips from my shoulder and he hums, then lifts it back onto me. "Are you that sleepy?" I ask amusingly. "No. D-Drinking." My eyes widen and I scoot away from him, causing him to send me a little frown.
"You what?" I ask, raising my voice a little.
He looks away and sighs, "Don't raise your voice." And just like that, I feel bad that I've yelled at him. He made me like that though, question everything, just to make sure it was okay for him. He had a soft spot in my heart and wasn't letting me free anytime soon. "I'm sorry," I sigh, looking at the floor below me as I scoot closer. "I didn't really mean to. I was just worried."
"Don't, I'm okay, just a little woozy."
I shake my head and stand, reaching my hand out to him. He mumbles something and I pull him up, then wrap an arm around his middle and take him to the bed. He lays down and I crouch the bed. "Up," he mutters at me, patting the space next to him. "I want you to lay with me." He says in a whiny voice.
I shake my head, "No. One, I'm not able to stay or kiss you and if I get up there, both will happen."
"But that's what I want," he whines again, rolling his eyes. Where did this Vic come from? Maybe alcohol helped him open up, like it did for a lot of people. I liked this Vic, he wasn't so nervous and self-conscious. "Why no kisses?"
"Let this be a lesson," I give in and lay my lips on his forehead. "No more drinking, Viccy."
He groans and reaches for my hair and succeeds, bringing my lips down on his. I put my hands down on his bed to support myself. And just like that, I was hooked. Never have I met someone that could make my mind go blank, yet cloud with so many emotions, just by kissing me. It was insane. He slides his hands down my back and tugs, pulling me so I'm hovering over him on his bed. I raise my eyebrows and kiss him again, grinning a little.
He secures his arm around my middle and pushes my hips down onto his, drawing a gasp out of my mouth. I pull away, cheeks burning red and eyes wide. "V-Vic, you really are drunk, huh?" He shrugs and lifts his head to kiss me and I accept, drawn right back into him. He slides his hands under the back of my shirt, hands sliding up my back, then down again and to the waist of my jeans.
I subconsciously buck my hips onto him and he moans in my mouth. Damn, I have to stop, I think ruefully. I can't do this while he's drunk. I stop moving my lips on his and pull away, sighing. "V-Vic, no, not now." I say, not wanting them to leave my mouth. Oh, holy Hell, how'd I love to have my way with him right here, right now, but I know that isn't right. Not right now at least.
He bites his lips, looking desperate, and rolls his hips again, and I feel that he's a bit hard against me. "But--"
"I can't when you're drunk."
"At least get me off, you miserable fuck." He rolls his eyes.
Oh my God, where did my little innocent Vic go? I was caught between loving this new Vic or praying for my naive boy back. With a gulp, I nod, not willing to say no when his cheeks were all flustered and his member was pressing into my thigh. He really needed a release.
I palm him through his jeans and he bites back moans. I continue this and roll my hips against his until he throbs under me. I unzip his jeans, placing a short kiss on his cheek, and throw them off, thankful he was so light. "Mm, yes," he sighs when I get him out of his boxers. "Touch me where it hurts." Where the fuck did this even come from? He was so different, oh my Jesus.
I close my eyes for a bit and think of other things until my own problem goes away, taking deep breaths. "What's the matter, getting flustered?" I tell him to shut up and wrap a hand around him, starting slowly. I go all the way up and down, keeping my pace slow until he writhes under me in frustration. Grinning, I speed up and keep a steady pace and kiss him to hide his moans.
He bucks his hips a littlem going further into my hand. There's no hiding my own issue anymore, and I didn't evem care at the moment. I flick my thumb over his tip and swipe my tongue over my lips, breathing hitching when he starts to throb again in my hand. "I-I'm really close," he mutters, humming right after. My cheeks get hot but I don't quit, I speed up and flick my thumb over him again. "Keep doing that." He gasps. So I do, I do it until he's a writhing mess under me.
He kisses me and tugs at my hair and I feel him release all over my hand, moving his hips up and down through his high. I place a kiss on his lips and blush, then go to clean up. When we've both recovered, I make my way back over to him and help him get into pajamas, not daring to let my eyes linger, then place another innocent kiss on his forehead. "Satisfied?" I chuckled. He mumbles a yes and nods slowly, eyes fluttering.
"I see. Sleep well, baby." I place my lips over his, shivering when he runs his palm over my cheek. I'd given up on not kissing him, I just couldn't do that.
My biggest worry at the moment was that he'd regret it tomorrow and be mad at me, but when he smiled at me when I pull my mouth from his, that thought went away and my heart fluttered. I knew that this wasn't the right way to get him to talk, to tell me what made him drink. Well I knew why, but why didn't he just call? I knew that this wouldn't bring me closer to helping Vic or anything like that, but he was satisfied now, he was okay, and that was what I really wanted, him to be okay.
I could deal with everything else tomorrow, I would make him explain, but right now he was smiling and twisting his fingers in my hair now like a little child, reminding me of the Vic I missed, and that was enough to make me smile too; I smiled all the way home and smiled as I laid in my bed and smiled even when my alarm clock went off, telling me I hadn't slept but would still have to face school.
