The morning was bright the next day. I felt as if this was the new beginning. Of my life. I was dating. Actually dating and on top of that it’s a guy! There was a faint denial in my mind but the sheer happiness made it bury deep inside my mind. This guy came, saw and conquered. I did not know how. I still didn’t want to believe I was gay. It was just I was attracted to him and no one else. Maybe I was Damian sexual. Of course, that is something I don’t want to admit in front of him. Never in my life.  I sighed like a melodramatic actor as I as I daydreamed about Damian and me in class. We were working it out for about two weeks and I tell you, its stressful but at the same time exciting. The behaviour between us hasn’t changed. It’s the same Damian, it’s the same me but there is a lot of kissing and cuddling now. We aren’t out for my sake. Damian doesn’t mind, he’s cool with it.

But seriously I need time and a little bit of space. Coming out like wasn’t going to help at all. I couldn’t just say ‘Hey everybody, how’s it going? Oh! FYI, I am gay and dating a star football player like as if anybody is gonna care. Oh, you do. Well, then fuck you’. I know eventually it’s gonna bite me in my ass. Hard.

I dragged myself at my locker and started stuffing the books with no care. All I heard was clicking of heels and a smell of very expensive, I hope, perfume. I looked beside me and saw a lady looking around blindly as if searching something. She stopped and looked at me. I realized I was staring at her. I looked away and walked quietly.

“ Excuse me.” She chirped. I turned back and saw her beckoning me like crazily. I slowly walked towards her and said, “Is there anything you want help with?”

“ Yes, you see I am looking for Damian Steel. I heard he was working here for a while replacing his father.” She said with a worried tone. I raised my eyebrows. I looked around to answer the question I did not wanted to.

“ Maybe in the staff room.” I answered at last. She grinned like a child with an icecream and tugged my jumper.

“ Could you show me the way...umm?” She paused.

“ Ethan.” I said.

“ Yes Ethan could you show me the way? Please? Pretty please.” She pleaded. I shrugged and nodded.

Now I was getting curious. This girl must know him like the back of her hand. She looked confident so a pshyco crazy stalking fan was out of the question. She had a charm of her own from the way she was walking and the look in her eyes was making me nervous as hell. She wore a nice printed blouse of blue color and skin tight jeans with heels clacking away to glory. Her hair was dark brown with a shiny texture. And makeup on her face was suitable. She held a very expensive leather bad in her nicely manicured hand and a nice Rolex watch.  She looked like an actress. She looked like a Goddess.

“ So you know Dam- I mean Mr. Steel??” I asked. She shrugged. “ yeah.” Was her reply.

“ If you don’t mind what are you to him?” I asked with a tinge of jealousy.

“ Well, Damian and I-..”

“ Diana?” chirped in a new voice. We both looked up to see Damian shocked with all the paper scattered on the floor which made me mentally roll my eyes.

Diana laughed and ran to him while I stared at her running in slow motion like a heroine in a movie. Damian caught her with a smile and swung her round and round. My mouth open-wide in a shock state. They laughed and giggled like children and was asking each other questions instantly. After a minute and a half they finally noticed me.

“ Oh Damian, he helped me find you. That’s so sweet of him. Thanks, Edgar!” she said.

“ Ethan. And you are?” I asked her rather annoyingly.

“ I am Diana Steel. Damian’s stepsister.” Said the annoying bitch. I looked at Damian. He shrugged scared like he was saying ‘What?’

“ I think so I should go now.” I muttered and walked back rather upset that Damian did not introduced me to his step sister.  He was so going to pay back for that.

“ Ethan!” came Damian’s voice as I could hear him run. I turned back and saw him running towards me.

“ Etha-..”

“ No need to explain. We talked about the space thing so fine. You don’t have to do this.” I said. He stood silent as he blinked twice.

“ Ummmm.... it’s just that ummmm....  I wanted to cancel tomorrow’s date. Diana is back for a while so please I am sorry. I will make it up to you next week ok?” he said as I stared at him in shock. What the hell? This son of a-

I scoffed and blinked hard as I tried to laugh my anger away. I shrugged and said, “ You know what do whatever you like. Cause somehow I don’t fucking care what you do. And you don’t have to make up for anything so go with Dona or Diana whoever you want to cause I don’t care.  Don’t fucking care.” I snarled and turned back without waiting for his reply.

I heard him calling me over and over but I covered my ears and walked towards the library. Where no one can bother me. I took out a book from the shelf and tossed it on the table and slept on the book to blank out my mind for sometime. My phone vibrated like crazy. But I already knew who it was and ignored it.

Fucking Diana, one presence and made us have our first couple fight. I opened my eyes. Couple fight. Kind of sounded nice. After that I was not thinking of breaking up or anything and if I did,that was going to be shortest relationship in the history of my life. I sighed. No way was my heart giving up, not even when it hasn’t started out properly. And I don’t think so a stupid bitch is going to ruin it. I chuckled as I determined my heart to hold on to Damian. The thought was making me so confident that it was making me laugh like crazy. The students looked at me like crazy and was shushing at me.

I got up and laughed hard as I looked around the students as if they were mad not me. The librarian, Ms. Drake came in front of me and cried, “ Ethan Salt, out of the library right now!!!!”

I had to pay fine for disturbing others. I grumbled as I walked towards cafeteria to meet Jenna that a hand grabbed my arm and jerked me inside the Janitor’s closet.

“ Damian?” I called out as I felt someone hug me.

“ Damn Ethan, Where were you? I searched for you everywhere. And I am sorry, so sorry ok? We are not cancelling the date. I told her I will call her if I fixed some time out. Ethan I will not lose you over some petty things I can sacrifice.” He said which made me smile but I gave him a quick kiss and said, “ No, I am sorry. I am being selfish here, that’s your sister. It’s not like you are cheating on me or something. Go and have fun tomorrow. Make sure you make it up to me.”

He smiled and kissed my forehead. “ Come with me.” He said.

“ What?” I replied. He chuckled as he tightened his arms around my waist.

“ Come with me, I will introduce you to her properly and we can have nice meal. She’s sweet, I swear. She cares about me that means its time she cares about you too.” He said.

Oh my god. I am meeting his sister. It was a big step and not that I hadn’t met her but it was officially meeting her. I had met his dad who was scary and now sister. I gasped as I felt his lips on my neck. I tried to push him but he was too strong right now.

“ Damian...” I whispered. He smiled as he kissed my neck and was giving small bites on a particular spot. I laughed as I felt ticklish and was shoving him gently. He gave a long slow lick on my neck and let me go.

“ You tempt me a lot.” He whispered. I shoved him and went towards the door.

“ Don’t be late tomorrow, Dumbass. Or I-...”

“ Cut my balls and give it to your dog. I know, I know and I will come in time. I can’t risk my balls now can I?” He said with a smile.

I chuckled and said, “ You know me too well.”

He winked.

After a hour of complete silence in the restaurant, I felt awkward. It seems that Diana was very surprised to find me with Damian in the restaurant waiting for her arrival. She just stood and stared at us like we had grown two heads but we knew her reaction was genuine. She laughed awkwardly and sat down. Then, it was silence. Damian cleared his throat and looked at the menu. A waitor arrived instantly and bowed at us.

“ Mr. Steel what is your order?” he asked politely.

“ I’ll have a..” and then I did not understand what he was saying. Spanish? Italian?? Who knows?

“ That will be it.” He finished. The waiter bowed and turned to Diana.

“ Ms. Steel, what would you like for the evening?” he asked.

“ The usual.” She said in a boring tone. Usual? Wow? They come here regularly, I guess.

The waiter went away to fulfil the orders not even glancing at me. As if I was invisible. You know what! That’s okay, I will drink water or something to keep my stomach full.

“ I ordered for you too. You do like lamb right?” Damian asked as if he read my mind. I shrugged and muttered, “ Sure, Sure.”

“ Okay, I had have enough, Now could someone explain me why is Edgar here.” Diana asked making my brain nerve snap!

“ It’s Ethan.” I snapped not so politely. She creased her brows together as she looked at me with disgust.

“ Oh, I am sorry, Ethan.” She said it like a sneer. Fucking bitch!!! I am gonna kill her.

“ Okay guys cut it out.” Damian interfered in between trying to cut the tension.

“ But Damian, it was  a date between us right? Why are you bringing students here?” she asked.

“ Cause Ethan is special to me, Diana.” Ha said and my heart did a triple cartwheel and few somersaults. I smiled at him.

“ Damian, You-You-You-you...” she stammered. “ You-you-you are-are what?!!!”

“ He’s my boyfriend.” I completed for her quite proudly.

“ Oh!!” She said with wide eyes rather to herself. She looked at us and smiled.

“ I am sorry. Just the news is very hard to digest and-and wow! Damian you are gay..” she said the last words in a whisper.

“ Yeah...” Damian said with a chuckle. Diana stared at him for a while and chuckled with him.

“ It’s fine Damian, I am fine with you being gay. You are still my favourite brother forever.” She said.

“ Thanks Diana. I appreciate it.” He said. It was a big step for him. For us. And it was great!!

“ You two look so cute.” She said with a very typical sugary voice. I mentally rolled my eyes.

Damian excused himself and went for the bathroom. Dumbass.

Diana smiled at me as she drank her wine. I took small sips of wine as I looked around.

“ So Damian and you are going for a permanent thing.” She asked. I shrugged.

“ I don’t know. We are giving it a try for once.” I said.

“ He deserves to be with a good person.” She said looking at me. I smiled as I took a gulp of wine.

“ And that’s me.” When she said that I nearly spluttered out the wine but I controlled it. I slowly looked at her to see a sneer in her once beautiful face, glaring at me.

“ He can never be gay. You understand! Never!” she snarled.

“ We are dating. He is gay” I snarled back. She gave a mocking laugh and said, “ He’d had thousands of girlfriends. What makes you think he’s not going to change his mind.”

“ Well, I think if he does he’s not going to hit his sister now will he?” I said and her face twisted.

Take that you bitch. “ Step sister.” She growled. I laughed and said, “ Tell that to him.”

“ You keep your hands away from him. He’s mine. You understand?” She said.

“ No, I don’t cause he’s my boyfriend. You being a nasty little sister stay away.” I snapped back.

“ He is not going to prefer you forever you know. I challenge you I can make him leave you in a minute. That’s not going to be a hard task anyway. Seeing he was straight and all.” She snarled.

I chuckled and said, “ Oh honey. How I want to rip your hair off your fucking head!! You incest begger.”

“ Faggot.”

“ Bitch!”

“ I’ll make sure he leaves you for good, Edgar.” She snarled. It’s Ethan, you nasty whore!

I smiled and took a sip from my glass.

“ Bring it on.” I growled. She glared back at me.

“ What did I miss?” Damian came in asking.

We smiled at him and said together.

“ Nothing.”

Damian looked from me to Diana and asked, “ Ummmm...... guys? What’s happening?”

 We laughed together heartily . I held his hand and said, “ Just bonding, you big chum!”

“ Really?” he asked with a confused tone as he took a sip of wine.

We laughed again.

He gulped sensing something was wrong.
