As Jay slept, Nicholai busied himself with a visit back to where they use to live. It was a couple of hours away but he knew Jay would stay asleep until he came back.
During the week or so together, he had realised that Jay slept for a total of ten hours every day.
"Celia, hello," Nicholai said with a smile. "I trust that you are well?"
"I am indeed, thank you. And how are you? What brings you here? Is Jay okay?" Nicholai smiled and nodded his head.
"He's absolutely fine, as am I. I wanted to know if you would like to visit Jay and I. I'm sure he would love to see you. He keeps wondering how you are and if you and your man are doing okay." Celia let out a small giggle which almost reminded him of Jay.
"Well, we're doing good actually. My parents want us marrying soon. I want Jay there but... They're not too supportive of that." Nicholai frowned. "I know, Nicholai, I know. I know how to charm them, don't worry. You're invited too. But anyway, this visit?"
"Today, perhaps? He's asleep right now, obviously. I am surprised you're awake."
"Oh, well you know. I have someone keeping me up," she said with a blush on her face. "Do you want me to come now? Because I don't mind."
"Your fiancé is welcome to join."
"Celia, babe! Who's–"
"Nicholai," Nicholai introduced, holding his hand out for her fiancé to shake.
"Austin," her fiancé replied, taking his hand and shaking it. "And who are you?"
"Don't get protective," Celia said, slapping Austin's chest. "He's Jay's boyfriend!"
"Oh, really now? And is that why Jay isn't around? Seemed like a nice lad."
"He is," Nicholai said. "Would you also like to accompany Celia to visit Jay and I? I am sure Jay would love to properly and officially meet you, which I know he hasn't apart from that one time during the party." The two looked at Nicholai wondering why and how he had known that. "Jay does speak to me about things. Now, can I take you both now? I don't want Jay waking up alone."
*~*~*
Jay woke up with Nicholai's arms wrapped around him. Jay stirred around so he could face Nicholai. He smiled when he saw the peaceful look on Nicholai's face. He leaned up and kissed his lips, grinning when Nicholai woke up straight away.
"BlueJay," he greeted in a sexy morning voice. Jay noticed how Nicholai looked very tired. He was confused seeing as Nicholai went to bed at the same time as him and should have gotten enough sleep.
"You look really tired. You've had the same amount of sleep as me. Are you okay? Do you want to sleep more?" Jay's concern in him had made Nicholai's heart flutter. He smiled adoringly at Jay and shook his head.
"I'm fine, Jay. I have a surprise for you, actually. Get up and dressed." Nicholai kissed Jay on the side of his head and motioned for him go get out of bed. "I'll join you in the shower." Jay blushed slightly and nodded his head.
Soon after the shower, the two got themselves dressed — but not without a lot of touching and flirting. Oh, and a lot of blushing on behalf of Jay. "What's this surprise?" Jay asked as Nicholai led him out into the living room.
"Surprise!" Celia squealed, running up to Jay and bringing him into a big hug. Jay was stunned but happy, hugging his sister back. After pulling back from the hug, Jay awkwardly smiled at Austin. "This is my fiancé, Austin. I'm sure you know him." Jay nodded his head and smiled at Austin.
Celia led Jay away so the two could have a private sibling chat. Austin and Nicholai were left to speak to each other. "I'm so happy you're hear!" Jay exclaimed, wrapping his arms around his big sister again. "You look well. Very happy."
"I am. But you know what, Nicholai is such a catch! You're incredibly lucky. He came over last night asking us to come over. He's honestly so sweet. I am so happy for you!" Jay shrugged, giggling like a little kid in his head. Hearing Celia tell him those things made his heart flutter. He really had snagged a good guy. A gentleman, even.
"I really am lucky," he murmured, looking over to Nicholai. His eyes widened slightly when he saw Nicholai already staring at him. Nicholai winked, which made Jay's cheeks turn a light red.
"I see you haven't gotten over the whole blushing thing."
"It's in the genes, Lia. You do it too!" Celia rolled her eyes at Jay. "Anyway, want any food? Drink?" She nodded her head and the two made some hot chocolate for everyone.
"This is a really nice place," Austin said as they all sipped on the hot chocolate. Austin and Celia held hands and often gazed loving at each other.
"Thanks," Nicholai shortly replied. He glanced at Jay who was staring at his hot chocolate. "You okay?" Jay looked up and nodded.
"So, you said fiancé. When... when did that happen?" Jay asked, furrowing his eyebrows a little.
"Not too long. Um, mother and father don't want you at the wedding." Jay stared blankly at Celia. He felt hurt, very hurt. "And–"
"And you're going to go with it because that's what they want. It's okay, I get it." Jay abruptly stood up, almost slamming his mug down. He quickly walked to his room and slammed the door. Nicholai looked to Celia and gave her a sympathetic look.
"How about I speak to him?" Nicholai offered, knowing he would be the one to get through to Jay. Celia sighed and gave him a small nod whilst Austin comforted her, pulling her to his side and kissing the top of her head.
"It's okay," he mumbled to her. Nicholai stood up and made his way to their shared room. He knocked on it before walking in. When he walked in, he found Jay wiping away some tears.
"BlueJay," he sighed, making Jay finally look up. "You've got it all wrong, you know that? You need to let Celia speak before you come to conclusions."
"The look on her face said it all!"
"The look on her face said she was hurt by what your parents said. You are invited, as am I. It's her wedding, not theirs. She wants you there, trust me. Now come on out so you can listen to what your sister has to say." Jay was stubborn. He sat firmly on the bed, not believing Nicholai one bit. "Princey, come on." Jay shook his head and crossed his arms, a small pout forming on his lips.
Nicholai's lips curled up in a smile. He walked up towards Jay and threw him over his shoulder, Jay screaming for him to put him down. "Nicholai!"
"I am not putting you down." And with that, Nicholai placed his hand firmly on Jay's butt and carried him to the living room where Austin was consoling Celia. Celia and Austin looked up, Celia snickering at the sight in front of her. "I'm still not putting you down," Nicholai said when he figured that Jay was going to ask him to put him down.
"Fine," Jay huffed, a pout on his face.
"Jay, I want you there. Austin and I want you there. Just because our parents don't want you there, doesn't mean I don't. I do. You're my little brother and I love you. So, will you come to our wedding? You and Nicholai?" Jay looked up from his position and sighed.
"I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions. Of course we'll come!" Celia jumped up and clapped her hands.
"Oh, this is great!" Celia was jumping up and down, squealing away.
