Vic's POV
"Vic, wake up." I hear someone yelling but I just groan tightening my grip on Kellin's waist as he stirs.
"Vic, it's Mike." My eyes shoot open at the mention of his name so I sit up rapidly looking at Mark who's standing at my door with an urgent look on his face.
"What happened?" I ask fearing the worst.
"I think he's waking up." Mark exclaims and for a minute I can't move, or breathe, or do anything. It's almost as if reality has detached itself from me.
It's Kellin's touch and his voice that brings me back.
"Vic, go. Everything's going to be okay." He whispers and I nod giving him a frightened look.
I quickly get out of bed and rush to Mike's room where there are nurses surrounding his bed.
"Hun, sit still for a second. You're alright, you're safe." I hear a nurse saying calmly.
"Vic, I want Vic." I hear my brother crying in a raspy voice. Tears well up in my eyes. Is he really calling for me?
I push a nurse out of the way. Surely they don't all need to be here. I get a clear view of my brother who's fighting to sit up but the nurses are pushing him back down. He has a terrified look on his face. I grab his hand that's lashing out and he turns to me.
"I'm here Mikey. I'm here." He relaxes a bit and the nurses do what they need to, removing numerous tubes from him and other stuff.
Mike stares into my eyes seeming frightened and confused.
"Can you excuse us?" I ask the nurses and they nod, seeming to be done with everything.
They leave, closing the door behind them.
"V-vic? Where am I? What happened? I'm so confused." Mike asks tearing up.
"Hey, it's alright, calm down. You're in your room. You've been in a coma and you've just woken up." I explain and Mike blinks a few times.
"A coma? For how long? Why?" He asks.
"About two years now. You tried to kill yourself. Do you remember that?" I ask trying to push back the tears that are entering my eyes as I mention it.
Mike thinks for a minute before his face changes to one of regret.
"Oh." He whispers before nodding. "Yeah, I remember. I'm sorry."
"Hey, no, don't apologize. I should be the one apologizing. I'm so sorry I let them hurt you Mike, I'm sorry that I never stood up for you. I'm just so sorry." I cry letting the tears stream down my cheeks.
Mike stays silent for a minute looking around the room at everything but me. When he finally looks at me, tears are threatening to spill from his eyes.
"The last thing I said to you was 'I hate you'. You've lived with that for two years, it could have been more. I don't hate you Vic. Nothing I said that day meant anything. None of that was your fault. I was just scared, because you found out, about my cutting." Mike explains and I give him a hopeful look.
"You don't hate me?" I ask my voice cracking.
He shakes his head and squeezes my hand.
"Of course not. You're my big brother. I love you. And despite the fact that you ignored what was happening at school, you still always tried to make sure I was okay when we were at home." Mike explains.
"But that's the thing Mikey, you weren't okay." I croak out and Mike looks down sighing.
"That's not on you Vic. Even if you had stood up for me, I don't think they would have stopped. I think they would have just brought you into it. I don't know what I would have done if you got hurt."
I sigh and drop his hand before wrapping my arms around him.
"I'm so glad that you're okay." I whisper.
It's a long silence before I bring myself to let go of him.
"Two years, huh. What's changed?" Mike asks looking around the room. "I see we moved house."
I clear my throat preparing to give him bad news.
"Uncle Vincent passed." I say quietly and he looks at me shocked.
"Oh." He says quietly and I give his shoulder a small squeeze.
"He left you all his money. He has a lot of it by the way. Since you weren't able to take it Mama and Papa got it but now that you're awake you should be able to have what's left of it back. But let's not talk money right now." I explain.
"If he left me money though, what did he leave you?" He asks.
"The house, the cars and the yacht." I shrug.
"Wait, how much money did uncle Vincent have?" Mike asks confused.
"A few million but that's not important right now." I explain and he nods.
"Um, what else is new." I mumble quietly to myself. "Oh yeah, I graduated last week."
Mike smiles and hums.
"That's great, I'm proud of you." He beams and I shrug.
"Um." I hum trying to think of something else then Kellin flashes through my mind. "Oh yeah. I have someone I really want you to meet. I'll be right back."
He nods and I rush out of the room back to my room where Kellin is pacing anxiously across the room.
"Darling." I say catching his attention. "Do you want to come meet Mike. Properly."
He stops pacing and smiles before he walks over to me.
"Yeah, that sounds nice." Kellin nods.
I smile and wrap my arm around his waist before leading him back into Mike's room. I sit us down on the sofa and Mike watches Kellin curiously.
"Mike, this is Kellin. My boyfriend." I introduce and Mike grins.
"Vic you finally got a boyfriend." Mike exclaims and I nod, kissing Kellin's head. "Aww, he's your first right?"
"Yep." I reply before clearing my throat nervously.
"Wait, I'm your first boyfriend?" Kellin asks confused making me blush slightly.
"Yep, my first boyfriend, my first kiss, my first love; my first everything." I smile before kissing his forehead.
Kellin gives me and adoring look before turning back to Mike.
"Kellin." He introduces, holding out his hand towards Mike.
Mike smiles and takes it.
"Mike." He replies and I see a flash of wonder cross Mike's eyes as he looks down at Kellin's arm, noticing his scars.
They let go and I pull Kellin into my lap, resting my chin on his shoulder.
"How're you feeling Mikey?" I ask concerned.
"Dizzy." He shrugs rubbing his temple slightly.
"You might need something to eat. I'll go make you something." I say and Mike shakes his head.
"No, it's fine. I'm not really hungry." He says nervously and my heart aches.
"Mike, please don't. Please just eat. For me?" I ask pleadingly.
He sighs looking ashamed before he nods.
"Okay. I'm sorry." He whispers looking down at his hands.
"Don't apologize. We'll get you through this Mike." I murmur and he nods looking back up at me, giving me a hopeful smile.
"Darling, I'm going to get Mike something to eat, you want anything?" I ask Kellin and he laughs.
"At 4:30 in the morning? Yeah, no, I'm fine thanks." He grins.
I chuckle seeing his point. I kiss his cheek and he gets off of me, sitting on the sofa beside me as I stand up then head out of the room to get my brother food that he'll hopefully eat.
Kellin's POV
I look around the room awkwardly as Mike and I sit in awkward silence. I have horrible social skills and I have no idea what to say to a boy that's been in a coma for two years. I look back at him feeling his eyes on me. He's staring at me curiously, though not at my face but down at my arms. I then can't help but to glance at his arms that are littered with thin white lines.
"You, uh, you cut?" Mike mumbles and I look down at my own arms, gently running my fingers over the scars.
"I used to. I don't anymore." I say with a small smile.
"Oh. What made you stop?" Mike asks curiously yet seeming nervous.
"Vic." I chuckle with a shrug. "He's helped me a lot. I'm so lucky to have him."
Mike nods and looks down at his hands again.
"He's going to be here for you now, Mike. He's a changed person." I explain softly.
"You really think so?" He asks eagerly.
"I know so." I smile lightly and he nods.
Vic comes back with a bowl of soup. He hands it to Mike who frowns down at the food. Vic sits on the edge of the bed and watches Mike eagerly. Mike starts eating and a relieved look spreads across Vic's face.
"Where's Mama and Papa?" Mike asks after a little while of silence as he eats.
Vic tenses and gives me a frightened look. I stand up and walk over to him before sitting next to him and placing my hand on his shoulder.
"He needs to know." I whisper to Vic and he takes my hand before he starts fiddling with my fingers.
By now, Mike has caught onto the fact that something is wrong.
"What? Where are they?" Mike asks a little more frantic.
Vic looks up and him and swallows hard.
"Uh, I don't know where Mama is at the moment. She goes out and drinks then she comes back home, sleeps, then goes out again." He explains nervously and I give his hand a little squeeze. "And Papa, Papa's in jail."
Mike's eyes go wide as he looks at Vic shocked.
"What? Why? Why's he in jail? What happened?" Mike asks frantically and Vic bursts into sobs, crying onto my shoulder.
"It's all my fault. I'm sorry." He sobs as I rub his back.
"Baby, it's not your fault. He deserves to be there, okay? Don't you dare apologize." I whisper hugging him tightly.
He pulls away after a while and I cup his face, kissing the tears away.
"Take your time, okay?" I whisper and he nods before turning back to Mike who looks beyond confused.
"Papa said it was my fault that you tried to kill yourself." He begins sniffling quietly, staring down at my fingers as he continues to play with them. "So he started like, hitting me and stuff."
He trails off and I sigh, kissing his cheek.
"Like how bad?" Mike asks seeming shocked.
Vic just shrugs and I sigh again.
"It was really bad." I speak up. "I wouldn't have called the police if I knew that Vic could handle it."
Vic starts softly crying again so I pull him into me letting him cry into my shoulder.
"Let it all out." I whisper rubbing his back.
I hate how he was always the one holding me when I was upset and now I'm here holding him. It hurts so much to see the person that was always there for you, breaking down and there's nothing you can do but just watch as it happens. I wish I could make him feel better like he makes me feel better.
"I'm so pathetic." Vic cries quietly.
"You're not, okay? If you were then I wouldn't love you like I do." I whisper and he snivels before letting go of me before wiping his tears.
He gives me a grateful look before turning to Mike.
"I'm sorry Mike. I took your father away from you. I was being selfish." Vic apologizes.
"Don't apologize Vic. He obviously wasn't that great of a father. He's not the man I remember." Mike sighs before wrapping his arms around Vic. "I can't believe he hurt you. That's horrible. Did Mama know?"
Vic nods as he starts crying again. As much as it hurts to see him like this, I'm so happy that he's not bottling up his emotions like he usually does.
"She knew, Mike. She knew and she didn't care. She just watched as it happened. I-I thought they loved me." He sobs and Mike gently rubs his back.
"I want them out of our lives okay?" Mike says and Vic pulls away wiping his tears seeming shocked.
"W-what?" He stutters.
"I don't want to speak to either of them ever again. They can't do that to you then expect me to still love them like I did. I thought they were good people. I can't believe Mama didn't stop it. I can't believe Papa even started it." Mike spits and Vic wraps his arm around my waist.
"Mike, you don't have to do this for me." Vic says but Mike shakes his head.
"I do. They don't deserve to be here for me, for you, for us. I went to school for years and got the shit beat out of me. But the thing that got me through the day was the thought of getting home and not having to put up with that. I couldn't imagine what it's like to have the people who are supposed to protect you, hurting you. They don't deserve me and they definitely don't deserve you." Mike explains and Vic holds him so tightly that I'm almost jealous. I wish I could've made Vic feel better. I shake the thoughts out of my head almost as instantly as they come. It's not fair to be jealous. Vic has had such a hard time without Mike. They both need each other at the moment.
The night goes on and Mike and Vic talk about anything and everything. I stay quiet just letting them have their time to catch up. Soon the sun is up, the birds are chirping and I'm tired as shit. I let out a little yawn and Vic turns to me for the first time in about an hour.
"You tired Darling?" He asks softly tucking some hair behind my ear.
"Yeah." I whisper rubbing my eyes, fighting to stay awake.
"C'mon, we'll go to bed." He murmurs and I nod. He pulls Mike into a tight hug and kisses his temple.
"I love you bro." Vic says and Mike smiles softly.
"I love you too Vic." He replies before Vic and I slide off of the bed.
"If you're feeling up to it, feel free to roam around. The house is pretty big so don't get lost. My room's just down the hall if you need me for any reason. But there's also Mark, he'll help you with anything. You'll know him when you see him. He's pretty excited to meet you. But you know, whenever you're feeling up to it. Don't work yourself too hard, you need to‒" Vic rambles.
"Vic, I've got it. Go get some sleep. Kellin looks like he's going to fall asleep standing up." Mike chuckles and Vic nods before surprisingly scooping me up in his arms. I let out a little giggle and he grins as he pecks my lips.
"Goodnight Mike." I smile giving him a small wave.
"Goodnight Kellin." He beams and Vic then carries me back to his room.
I start to slowly drift off as he closes the door with his foot before he carries me over to his bed. He pulls back the covers and places me down. I instantly close my eyes, desperate for some sleep. Vic then gets in a second later before pulling the duvet over us. I burrow myself into his chest as he wraps his arms around me tightly.
"I'm so happy for you Vic." I mumble truthfully.
I feel his lips connect with my forehead and I smile lightly.
"Enough talking, you look beyond tired. Get some sleep Darling." He murmurs and I nod lightly before instantly falling asleep.

I'm already late for school so I'll keep this short. There will be two more updates when I get home. Gotta go, bye!
