Story plot: Jongho has been struggling with anxiety as long as he can remember. It took him years to find out what can be helpful when he's having an anxiety attack. Wooyoung, his boyfriend, is the only person who knows about the soft grey blanket that can give him comfort. One day, Jongho wakes up and feels anxious already. After the fansign Jongho's anxiety gets worse and Wooyoung is the only person who can help him through it.

Jongho wakes up even before their alarm wakes them up. He sighs, not feeling well today. His anxiety is already creeping up on him for no real reason. He looks over at his boyfriend who is peacefully sleeping on his back.

He always seems so carefree. He can handle everything. He's normal. I'm not. I have stupid days like these where I'm just feeling anxious all day long and it's exhausting.

Jongho snuggles closer to his boyfriend, resting his head on his chest. He can't sleep anymore so he stays awake instead, drawing small circles on Wooyoung's chest. He's trying to calm himself down and shut down all the thoughts that are subconsciously going through his mind.

Wooyoung starts to wake up from the small gestures he feels, knowing his boyfriend is awake. He wraps his arm around Jongho and pulls him closer, placing a light kiss on the top of his head to let him know he's awake as well.

Jongho looks up "I didn't wake you up did I?" Wooyoung smiles and shakes his head. "No baby I was already half awake." Jongho nods, resting his head back down on Wooyoung's chest before staring at the wall. How is he going to get through this day when he's already feeling this anxious.

His thoughts are spiraling all over the place and he just can't seem to shut them down. Thankfully, he doesn't have these days as often as he used to have, but they're still horrible.

"You okay baby?" Wooyoung asks as he notices that Jongho is more reserved than usual. Jongho nods as he turns on his side, wrapping his arm around Wooyoung. "Are you feeling anxious?" Wooyoung asks softly as the Maknae nods slightly.

Now Wooyoung understands what's going on and why Jongho was being all cuddly and quiet when he woke up. Wooyoung grabs Jongho's grey blanket from the chair and covers him with it, placing small kisses on the top of his head. "That's better hm?" Jongho visibly relaxes as he holds onto his blanket.

They're not sure when this started. Wooyoung has been through a couple of rough days with Jongho and they somehow found out that this grey blanket makes Jongho feel a bit more relaxed. He always wishes there was more he could do to make Jongho feel better, but he knows there isn't much he can do besides just being there for him.

As their alarm goes off, Wooyoung turns it off and pulls his boyfriend closer. He places his finger gently underneath the Maknae's chin and softly presses his lips against his. Jongho smiles as he snuggles closer and returns the kiss. After a gentle locklip kiss, Wooyoung pulls away and kisses Jongho's nose.

"We need to get downstairs for breakfast sweetie. You coming?" Jongho nods as he pushes himself out of the comfort of their bed and his blanket. Wooyoung wraps his arms around his boyfriend from behind, placing a small kiss at the bottom of his neck.

Wooyoung sits down with Jongho next to him so that he can place a comforting hand on Jongho's thigh who is visibly struggling to feel at ease. The others don't seem to notice which is still something that bothers Wooyoung. He tried to talk to his boyfriend about telling them, but he refuses to tell them. He's scared they'll judge him for it or constantly worry about him.

Jongho finishes his breakfast and gets up "I'm going to take a shower before we head over to the venue." Before Wooyoung can do or ask anything else, Jongho left the table and is making his way upstairs. Wooyoung knows he's not going to shower. He's probably hiding himself underneath his blanket.

"Is he okay?" Hongjoong asks as he looks over at Wooyoung. "Yeah he's fine, just tired. He didn't sleep well." Wooyoung is always covering for his boyfriend until he finds the strength to speak to the others. "I should probably go check on him. I don't want him to slip in the bathroom or something like that." Hongjoong nods as Wooyoung excuses himself, making his way over to their room.

Wooyoung shuts the door behind him and sits down on the edge of the bed, softly brushing his fingers through Jongho's hair. He's feeling so helpless at times like this. No matter what he does, it won't reassure Jongho or take his anxious feelings away. "Is there anything I can do to make you feel better right now?" Wooyoung asks softly as Jongho shrugs.

But Wooyoung doesn't let his boyfriend push him away at times like this. When they first started dating he would feel hurt, but now he understands that Jongho really doesn't know. He lays down behind Jongho and pulls him close in his arms, making sure his body stays covered with his blanket. He rests his lips at the bottom of Jongho's neck, just being there for him.

"Guys we're leaving in 30 minutes!!" Hongjoong shouts upstairs as Jongho and Wooyoung are still snuggled up in bed.

"Angel I think we really need to get ready to go now. Do you want to take a shower first?" Jongho nods as he forces himself out of bed once again to take a shower. He leaves the shower again after 20 minutes so Wooyoung decides he'll shower when they get back.

"Guys 5 minutes come on!" The more often Hongjoong yells at them about hurrying up, the more anxiety he feels. "I- I don't know how I'm going to get through this day Woo. My anxiety hasn't been this bad for months." Jongho stutters as he puts his boyfriends hoodie on.

Wooyoung wraps his arms firmly around Jongho's waist and kisses his forehead softly. "I'll help you through it. We're in this together remember." Jongho nods as he rests his forehead against Wooyoung's chest, fighting back the tears from all the emotions that are rushing through his mind.

"Wooyoung! Jongho! Hurry up we're leaving!" Seonghwa shouts from the bottom of the stairs causing Jongho to sigh. Wooyoung places a soft kiss on his forehead before they make their way downstairs.

Jongho is trying his very best to hide is true feelings, because he doesn't want the others to worry about him. Having Wooyoung concerned about him is more than enough.

Once they finally reach the venue, Jongho excuses himself to the bathroom. Wooyoung quickly glances at him. He just wants to chase his boyfriend to make sure he's okay. But he can't. The others don't know and he doesn't want to act suspicious.

Jongho locks the door and sits down on a toilet, putting his hands in his hair pulling it hard.

Why! Why am I feeling this way right now! Is there even a trigger?

Tears fall from his eyes as the anxiety is increasing. He knows he needs to go out there. Act happy, because he doesn't want his Atiny to worry about his health.

I can't take it anymore. Someone please make this feeling go away. Please..

He shuts his eyes tightly, focusing on his breathing. When he finally collects himself enough he gets out and makes his way back to the others, trying to hide his red eyes. Thankfully they're all busy changing outfits and getting their hair and makeup fixed. Wooyoung notices though and all he wants is to pull his boyfriend close.

Wooyoung glances at his boyfriend and pulls him down on his lap. They're always cuddling so this should be a pretty safe move. He starts placing light kisses in between his shoulders at the bottom of his neck. He knows Jongho isn't feeling good at all at this point. He's feeling so helpless. If he could only take away the anxiety somehow.

Jongho managed to pull himself through the fansign somehow. He put on his happy face. Chatting with Atiny, dancing and messing around with the others.

Little did they know that Jongho is on the edge of breaking down completely. He kept checking the time, hoping this sign will be over soon.

Once they wave a final goodbye, it's as if all the anxiety that he has been building up and pushing away throughout the day hits him in full force.

He manages to stumble to the changing room where he drops down on his knees as his breathing is picking up, he's sweating and tears are streaming down his cheeks uncontrollably.

Wooyoung runs after him as he kneels down while all the others look worried at the sight of their Maknae completely breaking down. They back off, because it seems Wooyoung knows what he's doing.

Wooyoung soothes softly as he brushes his boyfriend's back softly. "I'm here baby. I'm with you. Do you need-" Wooyoung stops mid sentence as he realizes he forgot the most important thing.

Shit. Shit. Shit. How could I forget?! How could I forget his grey comforting blanket?! I knew he was anxious why didn't I bring it?! Oh my God I'm so stupid.

"B- baby your blanket is still at the dorm.." Wooyoung mumbles softly causing Jongho to panic even more than before. Wooyoung looks at the others. "Please. Please can someone rush back to our dorm? There is a grey blanket on the chair next to the bed." Wooyoung looks at them with pleading eyes.

"But why-" Seonghwa asks but he can't finish his sentence because Hongjoong grabs the older male. "We'll go get it Woo!" Hongjoong drags Seonghwa to the car to get the blanket Wooyoung asked for.

"I c- can't breath." Jongho manages to say as Wooyoung forces him to sit up a bit more. "Yes you can baby. You can breath. Remember how we always breath together?" Wooyoung holds his boyfriend closely in his arms slowing down his own breathing, trying to make Jongho breath in the same pattern.

After what feels like forever, Hongjoong runs over to them with the grey blanket Wooyoung asked for. "Look baby, Hongjoong hyung brought your blanket." Wooyoung kisses his boyfriends neck in a gentle way before wrapping the blanket around him.

"Close your eyes baby. You're in a safe place. I'm right here with you." Wooyoung whispers as the younger visibly relaxes, covering himself underneath the blanket with only his head sticking out, resting it against Wooyoung's chest.

"W- what's going on?" Seonghwa asks carefully as he sits down beside the couple, brushing Jongho's arm softly. "Can I tell them?" Wooyoung asks as he bites down on his bottom lip, hoping his boyfriend will give him the permission to tell them. Jongho is exhausted and can only nod the slightest bit.

Wooyoung nods and kisses the top of his head, letting his boyfriend rest into his arms. "Jongho has always struggled with anxiety.. He never told any of you besides me, because he's worried you will constantly worry about him. Sometimes, the anxiety hits him out of nowhere which can result into an anxiety attack like this.. And we figured out that this specific blanket makes him feel safe. It drops his anxiety and yeah.."

"Jongie.." Seonghwa says softly as he gently brushes some hair from his face. "We won't look at you any different okay? You're still our strong Maknae and that won't change because of this, I promise." The others all agree as Jongho flashes a small exhausted smile.

"Shall we go back to the dorm? Then I'll change your outfit there and take off your makeup." Wooyoung suggests as Jongho nods. Wooyoung gets up, lifting his boyfriend in his arms, knowing he's too weak to walk right now.

Hongjoong smiles at the beautiful couple and nods his head "Let's go back."
