Jimin was just coming out of his second class of the day when he saw his best friend, Hoseok.

"Sup, man." Hoseok greeted casually.

"Hey." Jimin waved.

"I got a free period, wanna go get some ramen? I'm starving." Hoseok whines and Jimin agrees knowing he'd rather go eat ramen with his best friend than be stuck in a boring lecture.

"So, how's it going with that Namjoon guy? Can't be easy trying to teach someone dance. Especially if they don't know what they're doing." Jimin makes casual small talk as they make their way to the convenience store.

"Oh my god, don't even get me started. As much as he is a cool guy, he's got no rythm, no co-ordination- no anything! I'm telling you, he's awesome, but the guy can't dance to save his life." Hoseok sighs and Jimin laughs at his friend.

"Sounds great." He says sarcastically.

"Yeah, well I bet your not having much fun either, you're tutoring the school idiot." Hoseok laughs.

"Hey! He's not an idiot. He's actually a really good rapper and performer, he just needs a little help with his chemistry." Jimin defends the boy, Yoongi.

"What's a guy like that even doing taking chemistry?" Hoseok asks and Jimin just shrugs, who knows.

They approach the convenience store and Hoseok stomach grumbles as if on que.

They go in, the automatic doors sliding open as they feel the air conditioning hit their faces. Hoseok runs straight to the pots of ramen and picks one up for himself, and of course his precious banana milk.

Jimin laughs at his eagerness and follows him after grabbing a pot for himself and some ice tea. After Hoseok pays for his things he goes straight to get some hot water. Jimin places his things on the counter and pays quickly. The woman gives him his change and he goes over to prepare his ramen.

When they both take a seat outside Hoseok digs into his ramen quickly since he needs to be back for his class in twenty minutes.

Jimin decides to slowly eat his and relax since he has a free period next and has over an hour to spare.

Hoseok finishes his ramen in record time and sticks the straw in his beloved banana milk.

"Shit, I got ten minutes to get to class. I gotta go, don't forget to meet me after your last class today! We gotta go to my brothers batchelor party!" Hoseok shouts as he's already speeding away from the convenienve store.

"Alright dude, catch you later!" Jimin shouts and finally starts to eat some of his ramen.

Jimin really needs to pee. But he thinks leaving his ramen out might be a bad idea, he might come back to a dog or somethig eating his lunch so he stays put. He eats the ramen for a few more minutes and the more soup he eats the more he has the overwhelming need to pee.

He decides to put his jacket over the top of his ramen bowl and run inside the store to use the bathroom.

He was in there longer than he had hoped. The store had a shitty lock and he couldn't open the door for a few minutes.

When he goes back to his table he sees someone else sitting there. He slowly approaches the table and awkwardly sits down.

"Uh..Sorry, I wasn't aware that this table was taken." The stranger admits awkwardly.

"No, it's uh, it's no problem." Jimin replies.

Theres an awkward atmosphere that settles between them and the stranger speaks up.

"I can move if you want." He says but Jimin, for some odd reason, finds himself shaking his head.

"No, it's okay, I don't mind you, uh, joining me." He smiles awkwardly.

They sit awkwardly for a little while, but soon Jimin actually finds himself sparking up a conversation with the guy.

"So, you go to this university too?" He asks and the guy nods.

"Yeah, I'm majoring in theatre. You?"

"Oh, I'm doing chemistry and bioligy." Jimin responds.

"Damn, I don't think I could do that." The guy says eyes a little wide.

"It's not hard when you're interested in the subjects." Jimin chuckles.

"I'm Jungkook by the way." The boy smiles and Jimin even finds himself returning the smile.

"Jimin." Jimin says and they shake hands.

"So, theatre, huh? Are you going to be in that upcoming play by any chance?" Jimin asks.

"Unfortunately not," Jungkook shakes his head, "although I did help in the production of it, it's never easy though seeing as the university has such limited supplies. But we made it work." He smiles and Jimin eagerly smiles back. This guy seems really interesting, and dare he even say, attractive?

"That's really cool! I'm definitely gonna go see it, a few of my friends are in it too." Jimin gushes.

"Yeah, this year's the best production we've had so far-"

"Thanks to you right?" Jimin jokes.

"Oh of course." Jungkook plays along and they both laugh. It's as if they've known each other forever, they get along so well and the conversation flows so easily, they don't feel like two strangers eating ramen together.

"How about chemistry? That can't be that fun, I mean, bioligy is okay, but chemistry? What a drag." Jungkook smiles teasingly and Jimin rolls his eyes.

"It's a really rewarding subject I'll have you know! I get to work with lots of chemicals and I get to show elementary school kids cool experiments as my course work." Jimin smiles fondly thinking about all the children he gets to see and how theur faces always light up with amazement when they see the experiments.

"Admittedly, that does sound pretty cool." Jungkook smiles.

"It is." Jimin nods.

"So.. are you single? Just out of curiousity of course." Jungkook asks.

"Yep. No botfriend in my life. Everythings really busy, I don't get a lot of time to go on dates and get to know people. And I mean no one thinks I'm that great so its hard to find someone with such low standards." Jimin jokes and laughs.

"For what its worth, I think you're pretty cute, y'know." Jungkook smiles and Jimin can feel himself blushing.

"Ah, t-thanks." Jimin stutters.

"You're interesting, smart, funny. I don't see how your single." Jungkook observes and Jimin is probably beat red by now.

"You're too nice, really." Jimin laughs out of embarassment.

"Trust me, I'm not being nice, it's only the truth." Jungkook winks and Jimin looks down because at this point he's blushing the hardest he ever has in his whole life.

They sit in silence for a while. Jimin thinks about the conversation a little. He hasn't had a boyfriend since his first year at university, they had been dating in highschool. The guy was nice, but they didn't go to the same university after highschool ended, and they couldn't make it work so they broke it off in the end. It was a shame really, because he really was a nice guy. Really caring.

He's been alone for a long time, nearly two years, but he doesn't mind much. Maybe he's lonely and doesn't have anyone to kiss or cuddle at night. Or maybe he doesn't have anyone to understand his stupid jokes and watch shitty movies with him. Maybe he doesn't have anyone to be better for or to care for, maybe he doesn't have a person to mess around with when he's in need of that kind of attention. Okay maybe he does mind a little bit. But it's not like he can suddenly start trying to find dates. He bas no time inbetween university and studying.

"Hey, you alright? You seem to be spacing out?" Jungkook noted making Jimin snap out of his trance.

"Oh, yeah, sorry. I do that sometimes." He laughs sheepishly. Jungkook only smiles and looks down at his lap.

"Y'know, it's getting cold around this time of year, why aren't you wearing a sweater?" Jungkook asks.

"Well, I have my jacket, but i dont wear it much, I keep it in my bag for some odd reason but never really wear it." Jimin admits sheepishly.

"You need somethig warm," Jungkook takes off his hoodie and hands it to Jimin with a sweet smile, "here, this'll keep you warm." Jimin blushes again and shakes his head.

"I can't take this, this is yours, you might get cold. Really, it's not necessary." Jimin refuses but Jungkook chuckles.

"I always carry a spare in my bag. Take it, honestly." He says and Jimin reluctantly takes the black hoodie. The material feels soft and smooth and he immediately feels glad he took it.

"Thanks." Jimin smiles, probably beat red. Again.

"Don't worry about it." Jungkook brushes it off and smiles.

They talk for another twenty minutes or so about themselves and other things they're interested in before Jimin checks his watch and realises his next class starts in twenty minutes.

"Ah, I hate to cut this short, but my class is starting soon and I probably need to get going." Jimin says a little sad that he has to leave Jungkook.

"Alright well, here." Jungkook hands Jimin a piece of paper with a number on it. Probably Jungkooks phone number.

"Let's go out tomorrow. We can get dinner if you want." Jungkook smiles and Jimin blushes.

"Like-like a date?" He asks and Jungkook chuckles.

"Yeah, a date." He smiles and Jimin smiles widely.

"Yeah! That sounds really fun! I'd love to! Text me!" Jimin smiles hoping he didn't sound too excited.

Jimin smiles and goes to walk away, but he turns around and quickly leans down to where Jungkooks sitting and kisses him on the cheek before scurrying off to the university campus.

Jungkook touches his cheek as he sees Jimin running to the gates of the university. He smiles and bites his lip, Jimin is really cute. He's way too into him already.

Suddenly his phone rings and he checks the caller ID seeing the familiar name. He smiles and picks up the call.

"Hey Tae."

"Hey Kookie, I was just wondering if you're still coming over tonight?" Taehyung asks and Jungkook can hear his smile through the phone.

"Of course I am, baby. I can't wait to see you and have you all to myself." Jungkook smiles.

"Me too, It's been too long since we've had some quality alone time." Jungkook smiles at the thought of a night alone with his boyfriend.

"I know. But I gotta go, I'll talk to you later."

"I love you, Kook." Taehyung makes a kissy sound and Jungkook smiles.

"I love you too, baby." He says and puts down the phone.

Okay, so he was technically cheating on by trying to fool around with Jimin. But niether of them will find out and it'll be fine. What they don't know cant hurt them. Right?
