But anyway ENJOY!

Zain's P.O.V

I opened my eyes and looked up at the ceiling of an old hotel room. The carpet beneath me was red and musky. A chandelier hung above me, and it swung to and fro. I looked down at myself to see my clothes were intact and so was my flesh. I sat up and rubbed the back of my head. What happened? I thought I died? Killing my father must have killed the fire which let me heal. Okay, I was okay. So where was I? And where was Benjamin?

I jumped to my feet and wavered a little. There was a king-size bed in the hotel room; it had red sheets and black covers. Laying on top of the bed was Benjamin. His eyes open and staring up at the roof. Tears engulfed me and I fell to my knees at the end of the bed.

No, he can't be dead.

Through my blurry teary eyes I crawled up onto the bed and leant over his cold white body. I reached out and covered my hand over his eyes to close them and they did. I shook with my sobs as I cried there looking at him.

Benji, please,” I sobbed, my heart was aching, like it had been ripped from my chest with metal clamps that had been heated in a fire and were red hot and the edges of the hole it had left behind were charred and burnt flesh. My hand shook as I raised it to Benjamin's neck. I know it was useless, but I had to check for a pulse anyway.

My fingers hovered over his skin, a little spark of hope still bubbling in the darkest pits of me somewhere. Then I put my hand to his neck, only... it didn't work. My hand went right through him and I gasped and pulled it away.

Was he a ghost? No, it was I who was dreaming still. That means I still had my powers. I straddled Benjamin and put both my hands over his heart. They hovered there as I looked at his face. Could this work? Would this work? I had to try.

I lowered my hands into his chest and clamped them around his heart. I let the electricity course through me until it bubbled around my wrists.

Please work,” I whispered and sent a charge into Benjamin's heart. His whole body rose and them fell from the charge. I waited, nothing. I repeated the charge again and again and waited for a response. But there was none.

COME ON!” I screamed and upped the voltage. Benjamin bucked beneath me and then fell back on the bed. “YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME! I FORBID IT. I LOVE YOU DAMN IT!” I sent three more charges into his heart before tears came back to my eyes and I yelled out in frustration and pain. I sighed and stopped, but my hands were still on his heart, and I sobbed there. “No...”

Something fluttered in my grip and my head shot up. His heart fluttered again, then again and again until it picked up a weak but steady pace. I removed my hands and leant forward, waiting and watching.

Come on Benjamin Warner. Wake up! Get up! I love you and you're NOT allowed to leave me,” I urged him on. The colour was returning to Benjamin's skin and his eyes shifted under his eyelids.

Zain...” he mumbled.

I'm here! Wake up!” I cried with glee and bounced on top of him. Benjamin's eyes opened and he looked up at me and smiled weakly.

Hey baby,” he said. And I squealed. Thank god no one else was there to witness it.

You're alive,” I mumbled as happy tears now came to me and I collapsed on the bed. Benjamin sat up and raised an eyebrow at me.

A little dramatic don't you think?” he smirked at me and rubbed his face with his hands. “So what happened?”

You died, I died, I came back and then brought you back,” I said hurriedly and got to my knees and looked down at the man I loved.

Oh, is that all?” he chuckled. “I heard what you said you know.” I frowned.

What I said?” I asked.

You said you loved me,” he smiled smugly at me. I fell backwards off the bed and looked up at him as he looked over the edge.

No I don't, I hate you,” I pouted and crossed my arms over my chest. Benjamin winked at me.

I love you too,” he said. Now my heart was the one to fail. I coughed and got up.

What was that?” I asked.

What was what?” Benjamin smirked cheekily.

What did you say?” I asked excitedly.

Oh nothing, just that I love you too,” he shrugged. I squealed again and leaped into his arms. Only I was still transparently ghostlike and fell right through him onto the bed.

Oh yeah, I forgot I was still dreaming. I'm in the hospital right now,” I pouted with disappointment.

Oh yeah, the crash, what happened?” Benjamin asked me.

Um, we couldn't find your body and Garret freaked out and started yelling. But I couldn't really move. I think I broke my spine. Garret broke his arm and he's now deaf in one ear. I think I'm in surgery,” I said as I concentrated on feeling where my body was and what was happening.

I have to get there,” Benjamin said and got up off the bed. He went to walk, but toppled over in pain. I leant down beside him.

What is it?” I asked him. He grabbed his leg at the thigh and rolled over onto his back.

My leg, I think it's broken from the crash,” he hissed through clenched teeth.

I felt my body pulling me back to life and I let it. Once again I was swirling through light and smoke...

I opened my eyes and was blinded by white light. I closed my eyes again and groaned. I was in a lot of pain. Pain was good though, it meant my spine wasn't broken.

“Zain?” my brother called me. I groaned again and opened my eyes slowly, letting them adjust. A hand touched mine and I flinched. Saxon was standing beside my bed looking down at me very worried. He sighed with relief when I looked at him.

“How you feeling?” he asked me. I shifted in my bed under the scratchy sheets and winced.

“Been better,” I sucked on my teeth. Saxon pressed a button beside my bed to call the nurse.

“But at least you're alive. The doctors didn't think you were going to make it,” Saxon smiled, but it was put on. I scratched the bridge of my nose.

“I almost did,” I sighed. Two nurses came in looking rather panicked. When they saw me awake they nearly fainted. I was feeling pretty faint myself, because for the first time ever, I could remember my dream.

Benjamin's P.O.V

I grabbed my leg as the pain tightened it's way from my toes to my hip. Something was definitely broken. Zain smiled at me and then his image faded and he was gone.

“No!” I cried out and tried to grab him, but he was gone. I was alone in a strange place. There was a phone on the night stand so I dragged myself over to it and grabbed it, letting it drop down into my lap. I dialled triple zero for the second time today.

“Hello District-”

“Yeah hi, I'm Benjamin Warner, I'm at some hotel. I called about the car crash near the high school. My legs broken and I can't walk,” I said without any patience.

“Ah okay, do you know what hotel you're in? Or the address?” she asked. Oh, she had a good point. I didn't even know if I was still in the same town. I looked around me and opened the draw in the night stand. There was a booklet on the hotel in it and the name was at the top.

“Maguire Hotel,” I told the lady on the phone.

“Okay, can you ring down to the lobby and ask someone to help you down there while the ambulance is on it's way?” she asked me.

“Yeah,” I said and hung up. I dialled the number in the booklet for the lobby and a man picked up.

“Hello?” he said.

Matt's P.O.V

Benjamin Warner. That boy was a magnet for trouble I'm telling you. The idiot always found a way to have me worried like shit. Not that shit could actually be worried. But if I could, I was worried like it.

Yet another nurse came into the room, this time this one looked happy.

“Good news, your friend Zain is awake and they say he's going to make a full recovery,” she said excitedly. Were nurses even allowed to show emotion?

“Also, we got a call from your missing friend. He called for an ambulance about ten minutes ago from a hotel room,” the nurse informed us and then closed the door behind her as she left.

“YAY!” Blake cried. He kissed Garret's nose and then ran from the room. The boy had to go visit his pet after all. I slicked over to Garret and took Blake's place. I gulped and looked at Garret, who was looking at me.

“Benjamin's alive,” we said in unison excitedly.

Zain's P.O.V

Saxon patted my shoulder.

“I'm just gonna go grab a coffee,” he said. I nodded and he left casually. The door banged open again before it even closed properly and Blake barged in and leaped onto my bed. I winced and he gave me a puppy dog look of apology as he slumped into a chair and dragged it beside my bed.

“You're alive!” he cheered and I smiled.

“Yep,” I said, popping the p.

“And B's alive and on his way. And everything is good. And G's not going to go to jail for manslaughter. And he still has half his hearing. And you're all going to heal up and be happy and healthy again,” Blake blurted. You had to hand it to him, he really saw the bright side of things. I chuckled and shook my head. Then froze.

“Benjamin's on his way?” I asked and he nodded.

“The nurse said he phoned for an ambulance about ten minutes ago so he'll be here soon I think. I'm not sure,” Blake frowned. He was so cute when he frowned that I had to hug him. He hugged me back and seemed to almost purr.

Saxon came back and froze when he saw Blake, then he smiled and took the other seat and drank his coffee. We all sat in silence for a few minutes as we waited for more news on Benjamin.

The door opened and we all jumped, but it was only Garret and Matt coming to join the wait. Matt sat by my feet on my bed and Garret sat beside my hip opposite to Blake. The bandaging around his ear and the plaster on his arm looked pretty nasty. I didn't even know if I had any bandaging myself. No one spoke as we waited.

The room door opened and at first I thought it would just be a nurse. But then a familiar grinning face poked his head in.

“Hey guys, what are you all doing in here?” Benjamin asked us cheekily. He was on crutches and his left leg was in a plaster right up to his upper thigh.

“B!” Blake cried and leaped off of me and raced to his friend. Though he slowed before he hugged him to be gentle. Benjamin hugged him back and then Matt, who had risen to greet his friend. Garret gulped, I heard it from where I sat up in bed, and rose slowly. Benjamin smirked at his friend.

“Don't feel bad man. It's not your fault. I'll explain later,” Benjamin said and hugged Garret. My brother rose and patted my foot.

“Better give them some time alone,” he chuckled and left. Garret, Matt and Blake went after him and closed the door. Now Benjamin was standing at the end of my bed looking down at me grinning. I grinned back up at him.

“Oh baby, you don't look so good,” Benjamin snickered. I shrugged.

“You don't look so good yourself,” I grinned a reply. Benjamin hobbled over to me and sat down on my bed, dropping his crutches to the floor. He cupped my cheek with his hand and his mouth went from a grin to a flat line.

“I'm sorry,” he whispered.

“For what?” I frowned at him.

“I'm sorry for loving you and not being able to let you go, even when those men threatened my life,” he whispered and bowed his head.

“I'm glad you did. I'm glad you do. Every other guy had given me up to save themselves. But you stayed,” my heart fluttered with warmth.

“This has happened before?” he frowned. So I explained to him my father was a demon, and he was behind this all. I was wary about telling Benjamin is case he freaked or didn't believe me. But when I finished speaking he just said,

“Oh.” I bit my lower lip and waited for him to take it in. He did, and then he smiled and looked into my eyes. “I knew you were special,” he grinned and brought his lips down on mine. I kissed him heavily, making up for not being able to kiss him when he said he loved me in the hotel. He pulled back and rested his forehead to mine, still grinning.

“So what's your diagnosis?” he asked me.

“I don't know,” I said truthfully. He grabbed my chart from the end of my bed and looked it over.

“Bad sprains and bruising. Possible cracked ribs. Mild concussion. Possible heart failure. Looks like we can't do it,” Benjamin listed and fake sighed. What was he up to?

“Can't do what?” I asked him.

“It looks like you just aren't up to sex yet,” he shrugged and put my chart back. I gapped at him.

“S-sex?” I stuttered. He tossed his head back and laughed, then leant in and kissed my forehead.

“Don't worry, I was only joking... maybe,” he teased and got up. “I better get back to my bed, I'm not supposed to be walking around and the police want to come question me about how I ended up in a hotel room on the other side of town with a broken leg in only a few hours without checking into the hotel and getting the room key,” Benjamin said nonchalantly. “And mum is panicking like she does.” He rolled his eyes and headed for the door. I sat up quickly and cried out as my supposed cracked ribs wailed in protest.

“Wait!” I winced. Benjamin came back over and put his arms around my shoulders and pulled me into his chest.

“I love you, I'll be back soon as I can okay?” he said. I nodded and screwed my nose up.

“Okay,” I mumbled. He coughed and cleared his throat and I laughed. “I love you too.”

“Better,” he chuckled. “Though I find it a little ironic an angel like you could have a devil for a father.”
