Meanwhile, outside the hospital room...

BTS's POV

Together, the remaining four members of Bangtan reached the hospital few minutes after Jimin. However, before they could rush in to check out their friends, they were stopped by their leader.

"Wae? Why can't we go in?" J-hope, whose hand was already half turning the door knob whispered.

"Look inside."

Together, the four of them squeezed the faces through the small window. The back view of a drenched guy was obviously Jimin, and chatting happily in front of him was Suga.

Jungkook, who is resting on another bed, looked just as fine.

Soon, the leader signaled the others to gather at a row of seats. All of them sat down quietly and looked at RM curiously.

J-hope: So why exactly can't we go in and visit them?

RM: I'm not forbidding y'all to see them. I felt that now...is just not the right time.

V: Wae yo?

RM: Didn't you noticed...all the three main characters of this drama are all in that room.

Jin: Sooo?

RM: Didn't you realise this triangle relationship is getting more and more complicated?

V: That's true. It's like Jimin wants Yoongi hyung, but then he shared some of his love to Kookie, yet he still insist that he loves Yoongi hyung more and now...urghh it's so confusing! Can't he just stick to one? Like my unwavering love for coke...

J-hope: I agree.

Jin: So what Namjoon wants to do now is to let Jimin settle this complex relationship problem.

RM: That's right. I had a long talk with Jiminie just now, and I hope he knows what to do now.

J-hope: So I say we visit them tomorrow instead since we already know that they're fine.

Others: *nodding*

Jungkook's POV

I opened my eyes slightly to adjust to the brightness. It was a strange location. My body is aching from head to toe and when I tried to move, there was a sharp pain at my leg area. After few seconds of figuring out things, I heard chattering beside me. Instantly, I turned my bed to my left to check things out.

The first one who caught of attention of Jimin hyung. He looked drenched, panting heavily and obviously very worried.

I was actually relieved to see him here but after closer observation, the person he was talking to was...Suga hyung. I laid there, not moving, just quietly staring at them. Jimin hyung went up to see Yoongi hyung's injuries, at his arm area and few on his legs.

Though they had lowered their volume, I could still hear it all.

"Will it leave a scar hyung?"

"Erm...mostly are just superficial injuries, I'm just worried about the one on my face."

"But having a scar on your face won't make you less ugly hyung."

"W-what?"

Laughter was the most frequent sound coming out of Jimin hyung's mouth. It was obviously fake laughs to make the atmosphere less awkward, but still...

Both of them were smiling happily, occasional skinships like holding hands and patting feels like needles stabbing my heart.

Jimin hyung probably forgot that I was in the accident too, and also my existence in this room. They are just enjoying their couple moments together, with Jimin hyung asking "gwenchana?" every few minutes.

But...didn't Yoongi hyung said that they just...broke up? 

Flashback - few hours ago

Suga had asked Jungkook out that morning to the exact same lamb skewer shop that went last time, with Jimin. As the first customers in the shop, they picked a remote area. 

Jungkook was pretty puzzled on why his hyung asked him out, especially in the morning, when both of them are not a morning person. He recalled how they did not even talk in the taxi, even at home just now, Suga merely said "we need to talk" and there goes Jungkook, following his hyung to where ever he says. 

Simply staring at his hyung quietly, Jungkook observed how nervous Suga actually looked. Suga was trying hard to maintain his straight face, as he looked out of the window to calm himself down, but his fingers hidden under the table were playing tug-of-war. 

"So..." Jungkook began the conversation, "you said that there's something you need to tell me?"

"...ne."

"W-what is it?"

Suga sighed as he finally looked into the maknae's eyes, "Remember this place?"

"Ne."

"I was pretty mad when you just walk away like that without saying goodbye."

"I...I had something to attend to that day."

"Aniya, you don't need to lie. It was actually my fault. You probably have guessed it, yes, I did it on purpose. I asked you and Jimin here to see if you two are still in love with each other."

"I guessed it hyung. So...did I pass the test?"

"Aniya, you probably scored lower than your English exam."

"Mwo?"

"The word 'jealousy' was written clearly on your face that day, grinding your teeth, biting your lips, rolling your eyes - all symptoms of being jealous when I purposely feed Jimin."

"Aniyo hyung, me and Jimin hyung...we...we..." Jungkook stuttered. Till now, he was still unsure about his relationship with Jimin and now, he's having this so called heart-to-heart talk with Yoongi? "Hyung, we...we..."

"We broke up."

"Huh?"

"Ne, I broke up with Jimin few days back."

"Wae yo?"

"I found out that he doesn't like me anymore. That simple."

"Is...is it because of me hyung?"

Yoongi nodded his head, followed by a sigh, "Let me tell you honestly, that day when you were sick, I...I actually went home."

Jungkook widened his eyes in shock. He immediately recalled what happened that day. So many things happened - he accidentally called Jimin, they ended up spilling their emotions out and they even kinda got back together. Jungkook remembered how he begged Jimin not to leave him as he takes a nap, he thought that that will be the last time they will ever hug each other. 

He still remembered how Jimin gave him an assured smile and said, "Don't worry, I'll be back by your side," before kissing him on the cheeks. Jungkook could narrate out the entire story, he remembers that exact details, but then, was Suga's name inside the story? 

Aniyo...at that moment, he did not thought of Suga, he did not realize that Jimin actually had a boyfriend waiting for him in the company, he did not thought of how is he gonna face Suga after this? Oh shit...

"Mianhe hyung." It was all he could say. That few words contained so much emotions, so much words that should be left unsaid. "Mianhe, I...I..."

"Don't say that," Suga shook his head, "don't you find all this familiar? It's like deja vu...when we shared a hotel room in Japan, when you promised me..."

"When I promised you that I will leave him. Haiz...mianhe hyung, I did not fulfill my promise, I let you down hyung..."

"Aniya, don't say that. Be with Jimin, Kookie, hyung has already back off for you two to be together. This is the most I can do for you two...so...please last long."

Jungkook felt how much pain there was in his last few words, and how Suga still managed to put up a smile although his lips were trembling. He clenched his fist and rubbed his knucles, "Is this really what I want?" he thought, "why do I feel so shitty after seeing Yoongi hyung so hurt?"

End of flashback

Jungkook tried to turn his body to the other side, in attempt to avoid the duo but sadly, his movements were too loud. His two hyungs looked at him immediately, with worried faces on it. 

"Oh, you're awake," Suga said.

Jungkook looked at Suga with his half-opened eyes, as his dark pair of eyes slowly landed on Jimin. Their eye contact was short yet made Jungkook's heart stopped for a second. He probably realized that he looked too obvious staring at Jimin as he quickly turned back and replied with a soft "ne". 

"Do you feel much better?"

"Ne hyung, just my leg..."

"Oh the doctor said you sprained your leg," Jimin interrupted, "but it's gonna be fine in a few days."

"Oh, that's good."

And with that full-stop, it ended their conversation. Jimin looked at the two patients awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck as he racked his brain on what to say next. Suga, on the other hand, was taking this moment to close his eyes for a quick rest while Kookie also felt uncomfortable and chose to stare outside the window. 

The room was dead silence, and it wasn't normal for them, after all...they're from BTS.

"Hmm...it's getting dark now," Suga commented as he looked at Jimin.

Jimin immediately got the hint as he stood up and scratched his head again, "Err...I think I should make a move first, it's getting late. You guys should have some rest, I'll visit you tomorrow with the other members."

Jungkook simply nodded his head as he saw how his hyung exited the room hurriedly. Although there's one less person around, the awkward atmosphere was still there. Jungkook remembered how they ate their lamb skewers in silence after discussing about Jimin, and how even in the taxi they chose to use their phones instead of chatting. 

"Lights off?" Suga suggested, and got a slight nod from the maknae. 

Probably now only darkness in front of them and the room was only illuminated with the street lights from outside the window, they finally get to breathe normally and relax. However, with that matter in his heart, Jungkook was certain that unless he says it out, he will not be able to fall asleep tonight. 

And so, he started the conversation with a sigh. "Hyung...are you asleep?"

"Aniyo," the reply came fast, as if he was already anticipating for that question. 

"Then...can we talk?"

"About?"

"Just now. I saw you talking to Jimin hyung, happily," he stressed the last word. 

"Aniya, Kookie ah, didn't I said we broke up already?"

"But...I was thinking...did Jimin hyung want to break up with you in the first place?"

"Didn't he said he can't forget you? Isn't that obvious enough that he loves you more than me?"

"But...but..."

"Kookie, you know what...maybe, we should all take a break, take a break from this freaking complication feeling called love."

"What do you mean?"

"Let's not think about love for this moment. Everything just happened so quickly and suddenly that I don't even have have a moment to sort things right. We are all too tired from this, physically and mentally. And that's probably why I chose to leave him...I need a break...from this him, from loving him, from this drama."

"You're right hyung. I'm tired too. I need a break too. And at this very moment, what I need the most, is sleep."

"I get it, Kookie, good night..."

"Good night hyung...I just hope that by tomorrow, there will be a solution to all of our problems."

Suga chuckled, "It's probably harder to solve than your math problems Kookie."
