School is where you get an education, it's where you meet friends and socialize, it's where you grow to be who you are.

Not for me, school is where I live a lie, try to have an as human as possible life and forget about the rest.

But it's hard when most of the school is crushing on you, I sat in chemistry next to Eric who made small talk.

I wasn't listening to him though, I gazed out the window as everyone gazed at me.

It started snowing, winters finally come, I watched the snow and pushed thoughts of him to the back of my head.

And if you're wondering where the flashback is well I'd tell you about it, but it's a little personal, maybe later.

Eric laughed at his own joke, "Abe are you even listening?" he said placing his hand on my shoulder.

My red eyes looked at his hand and then his face, "no sorry" I said as my eyes returned to the lapis lazuli blue.

He just looked at my face, I pretended I didn't see him, he was always starring at me like that.

Was it because I was stronger than him? or was it because my appearance was perfect? maybe he genuinely liked me for me.

The bell rang, that was the slowest class ever but I couldn't help but smile, it was gym time, or Tim time.

I quickly walked to the locker room, I was getting slower and weaker since I hadn't been drinking blood.

But power did come with a price, the vampire me was terrible, I needed to keep my humanity.

I opened my locker, normally I got changed in the bathroom cause every time I came in here I would get beat up.

Everyone watched me as I shed my clothes, the smell of momentary lust quickly over powered the smell of sweat.

I nonchalantly looked behind me slowly, Tim had his back to me, but his back was so muscular.

He put his shirt on, it looked like if he tensed his muscles the shirt would rip, he sat down and out on his black converse.

After he tied his shoe laces he sat there for a while with his hands clasped, everyone had left but I still stood there and watched him.

He slowly turned his head and looked over his shoulder, he looked at me for a whole three seconds then got up and left.

I walked out after him, it was basket ball in gym today, Tim was on the opposite team.

I showed off a little bit, I kept shooting from the half way line I think it's called, I never missed.

He was getting frustrated, every time he had the ball I would take it from him, I could practically see steam coming from his ears.

There was only a couple of seconds left and everyone anticipated something amazing from me.

I decided to go for a slam dunk or whatever, I got close to their hoop, that's when Tim made his move.

I turned my back so he couldn't get the ball, my butt rubbed against his junk, sparks coursed through my body.

I just stayed there for a couple of seconds and the buzzer went off before I knew it.

My hearing drowned out until all I could hear was my breathing, I watched as everyone walked to the change room.

I closed my eyes and calmed my heartbeat, was my body rejecting Tim?

My hearing came back all at once and I walked into the change room, everyone patted me on the back and what not.

Tim left without even a glance at me, I quickly followed him, he walked down the hall towards his locker.

"Hey Tim" I said warmly, he rolled his eyes and kept walking, I walked a step behind him.

"What do you want Crosswell?" he said irritated, that's the nicest he's ever been to me.

"Don't you think I did great today?" I said fishing for compliments, I don't know why but I think I really liked him now.

"Not really" he said emotionlessly, I picked up pace so I was walking next to him.

"Why!?" I said sounding a little psycho, he looked out the windows as we walked.

"Because you cheated, I don't like cheaters" he said coldly, my jaw dropped and I crossed my arms.

"How did I cheat" I said returning the coldness, he looked at me and squinted.

"You used your vampire powers, hats hardly fair" he said motioning me with his hands.

"Fair enough" I said defeated, why was he actually acknowledging me then, did he forgive me.

He stopped and opened his locker, I watched as he looked for books, he sighed and turned to face me.

"What now" he said annoyed, I looked into his brown eyes, he had bags under them.

"I just um, never mind, nice chat, talk to you later" I said quickly as I turned away and walked off.

"It actually was" he laughed to himself quietly, i only heard it with my vampire hearing.

I stopped at the need of the hall and turned to give him one final glance, he looked back at me, his hand hesitated but came up to give me a warm wave.

I flashed my white teeth as the blood rushed to my cheeks, I turned the corner and went about my day.

Simons arm wrapped around my neck as I walked to study hall, "dudeeeee" he said, whenever he extended his words meant I was in trouble.

"Yes my love" I said to him, what I learned about Simon is that he is a sucker for ass kissing.

His hand slid down my arm and intertwined with mine, "what's this I hear about you and Tim?" he whispered in my ear.

I looked away trying to avoid the topic, his grip on my hand tightened but it didn't hurt.

He kept coughing, I gave in to his annoying prying into the details of my life.

"Fine we talked and it was good, yes I have feelings for him and if you can't accept it then don't bring it up" I said quickly.

His jaw clenched as he stopped, his hands rested on my shoulders, "look Abe" he said.

"You can like him, that's fine, I just don't want you to forget all the stuff he's done to you in the past" he said quickly.

I looked him in the eyes, my jaw clenched as hurtful memories flooded my head.

My eyes turned red, "just like you right? cause most of my memories of him beating me you were in as well, so don't say anything about people not changing" I said with anger.

He stood there in shock at my outburst, I walked away from him and left him standing there hurt.

Okay this whole blood diet thing was making me a little moody, but I'm not going to have my decisions questioned.

I closed my eyes and made them return to normal, I needed to blow off some steam.

I ran straight from school to Eric's land, it was the only place I knew I was risk free of getting seen.

My fist crashed through a tree, it came tumbling down, I picked it up and swung it around.

I knocked a couple trees down as I threw it over the forest, I heard footsteps approaching behind me.

"Wow rough day?" Eric said softly, I turned and faced him, his light brown eyes compassionately looked at me.

"Sorry, I just needed to let out some anger" I said breathing hard, he looked around.

"Yeah I can tell" he said with a grin, I rolled my eyes and picked up my hoodie.

"You need help?" he asked me before I walked away, I turned to look at him.

"What do you mean?" I said raising an eyebrow, if he was offering blood I was going to knock him out.

"Taking your mind off things" Eric said quickly, my eyebrows raised even more, was he hitting on me.

"Jesus Christ Abel I meant I would teach you more vampire stuff" he added quickly.

"Like what kind of vampire things?" I said intrigued by what he was offering.

"Anything, history, abilities" he went on, he had me at abilities.

"Okay" I said with a happy grin, he smiled back, he started walking towards his house.

"Okay so all I do is make direct eye contact with them and talk?" I asked again.

He was teaching me the basics of Glamouring someone, we stood in the streets of town.

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a store, "see because you haven't been feeding you'll be a lot weaker but I think your weak is my strong" he said.

We were in a fancy suit and dress store, "we're going to a party so pick out anything you want" he said with a smile.

"really what type of party?" I asked, I've said before I don't like parties but I did need to take my mind off things.

"The annual winter masquerade, held by the she devil mayor Clara" he said in a British voice.

"Ohh fun" I said as my fingers ran over a blood red mask, it had gold embroidery.

I got a black suit with a red tie, I took it to the counter, "that comes to 2,581 dollars" she smiled.

My jaw dropped and I looked at Eric,"this is part of the lesson" he winked.

I smiled at the girl, my eyes made direct eye contact with her, her face went blank.

"You're going to let me have these for free" I said to her, she nodded and took off the tags.

I put on the suit as did Eric who's was black and silver, we drove to the mayors house.

It was literally huge, by far one of the biggest houses in the world, and everyone was here, before i turned I would have never came.

I got out and skipped up the stairs, "bye I guess" Eric said with a wave, I blew a kiss to him and walked through the front door.

The inside was even better, the ceilings were so high and had beautiful chandeliers, it was like the castle from beauty and the beast.

After a couple of drinks I may or may not have Glamoured into getting I was slightly tipsy.

I danced with people and laughed, it was so fun, someone was standing at the top of the stairs.

He walked down, his mask was dark blue like my eyes as was his tie, he was so handsome.

He was tall and his hair was dark brown, his skin had a soft tan, and my jaw dropped as he smiled.

It was Tim, he was so hot, but I knew I was more attractive, he made eye contact with me and I grinned and looked away.

I started dancing with a girl who wore pink, he started dancing with the girl he took to the school dance.

He came over and started grinding with the same girl as me, he was in front.

"I didn't think you liked this sort of thing Abel" he said proud that he realized who I was.

"There's a lot you don't know about me Tim" I said with a smirk, he laughed and ran a hand through his hair.

"Oh Abel I think I know more than enough" he said with satisfaction, I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Why do you sound so satisfied?" I asked him looking into his eyes, he smiled.

"Cause like I said a couple of weeks ago, you don't know anything about me" he said with a grin, he was right.

"Touché, so why don't you tell me something about yourself, it's only fair" I said with a smile.

"Okay, what do you want to know?" he said thinking about it, he bared his perfect teeth and it made my eyes turn red.

"What do you think of me?" I asked, his jaw clenched uncomfortably, and he looked away.

"You're a vampire, but you're also Abel, so I'm not scared of you" he said searching for his words.

"Why aren't you scared of me?" I asked seriously, personally I think I'm pretty frightening.

He smiled and shut his eyes "because you're you, you're sweet, sometimes crazy, but I know you wouldn't do anything to hurt anyone purposely, even if you hated them" he said.

I bit my lip and looked down to the girl who was unaware of our conversation, a blush spread across my face.

"What makes you think that?" I said coldly, my face was expressionless, he smirked.

"Cause you hate me but I'm still standing here" he said with a cocky grin, but his eyes showed sadness.

I stopped dancing and looked up into his eyes, "Tim if you think I hate you then you clearly don't know anything about me" I said softly.

He stood there with a stupid look on his face, I walked away and my arm brushed his.

I walked out onto the empty balcony, I could see the whole town from here, from the cafe to the beach.

Someone closed the door behind me and locked it, I turned to face Tim, he took off his mask.

"If you don't hate me then why are you torturing me?" he said, his voice broke a little and it went deeper.

"How am I torturing you?" I asked confused, he sighed and took a step closer to me.

"You constantly mess with my head" he said frustrated, his light brown eyes turned watery.

"You're all I think about, you're all I've ever thought about, even before you turned into a vampire" he added.

"It keeps me up at night, thinking about your face, and if I'm asleep I'm dreaming about you" he said tears rushed down his handsome face.

"And I'm not gay, I swear I'm not, but ever since you kissed me everything's gotten worse" he kept going, but I stood there in shock.

"And all I ever want to do when I see you is hold you and kiss you like I would my girlfriend" he said roughly.

"I want to hold your hand and beat up everyone who looks at you the way I do, I want to be the only one for you Abel" he cried, tears fell down my face.

He went to speak again but I cut him off, "i understand everything you're saying Tim but there's one thing you haven't said" I said softly.

"Yeah, what's that?" he laughed as he tried to fight his tears, I looked into his eyes.

"You've said you're not gay, that you swear you're not, but you've never said you know you're not" I said, he took a step closer to me.

"Cause I don't know what to believe anymore, I may have affected your life since the bullying but you've been affecting me since the start" he cried.

"Timmy, that's not me though, it's you" I said softly, he needed to know, I could see how much this was killing him and how much he tried to fight it.

"It is you! you're using magic or something" he said with anger as he took some more steps towards me.

"I've already told you, I never did anything to your mind, everything you feel is real" I said softly.

"Please don't say that, please" he cried as he fell to his knees, his hands covered his face stressfully.

"It's true, Timmy you can't let this kill you, it's who you really are, and who you really are is beautiful" I said softly.

He got up and looked down at me, "Abel it hurts so much, and I've never been this scared in my life" he cried.

"I know, but you need to know that I'll always be here for you okay?" I said as tears rushed down my face.

I never could have imagined that Tim could be this vulnerable, he was always so strong.

He gazed into my eyes, his hands trembled but softly touched my cheeks.

My butt pressed against the railing of the balcony, he bit his lip as he struggled to find the words to say.

"You don't have to say anything, I understand" I said honestly, and I did understand, he was a good person who was just struggling.

More tears fell down his face as he lips crashed on mine, his hands were holding my face so hard.

I rose on my toes so it was easier for him to kiss me, I would do anything to make his life easier.

His hands grabbed my waist as he effortlessly lifted me onto the railing, my legs wrapped around his waist.

My arms wrapped around his neck as his tongue entered my mouth and dominated.

His crotch rubbed against mine as sparks exploded on my back as his fingers traced it.

He rose on his toes making him even taller, he started to grind against me.

My back was over the edge as he held me, I gave him my full trust and I knew that turned him on even more.

Suddenly the door clicked, our eyes both shot open in shock, he lost his balance and we both fell over the side.

It was a huge fall, I grabbed Tim and braced myself for impact which came before I anticipated.

Pain exploded through my body as I formed a tiny crater in the ground, my head was throbbing.

I was in so much pain I couldn't function, Tim stood over me freaking out.

"Don't worry" I mouthed, I gasped as my heart started again, I began panting.

He sighed relieved, no one saw, but the party would soon be over and people would leave.

"Tim you need to drag me behind the bushes" I said, he nodded understandingly and delicately grabbed me.

He crouched down and talked to me, I couldn't hear what he was saying, my body actually got hurt.

Something I learned with Eric was that he could still get cut and hurt but he wouldn't feel it.

Where as I couldn't be scratched, my skin was extremely strong as we're my bones, but I guess since I was weaker I was injured.

And to top things off I wasn't healing, I smiled and laughed, he laughed too, his smile made me feel better.

My hearing came back, "that was lucky" he laughed, my jaw dropped as I looked at him.

"You're lucky I can't move or I would kill you" I laughed at him, he got on top of me and held my hands.

"But you can't, just face it Crosswell, I'll always be stronger than you" he smiled, I smiled back.

"Fine" I admitted defeat, he smirked and flexed his arms, his muscles were huge.

I smiled at him and he smiled back, no words needed to be said, out faces said everything.

He leaned down and kissed me softly, I flinched in pain but I didn't stop, he came up.

"Now what?" he asked me, I shut my eyes and thought about it, that's a good question.

"Now you go back to the party and I go home and heal" I said as I forced myself up.

The pain hadn't gone away but I was used to it, and seeing Tim so happy was like a pain killer.

"Are you sure?" he asked me nervously, he was actually worried about me, I nodded.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning at your cafe" he said as he looked down at me, I smiled.

"How did you know I have a cafe? have you been stalking me?" I teased him, his jaw clenched.

"Don't push it Crosswell" he said as his jaw clenched, he still had anger issues, he began to storm off.

He quickly stopped and walked back to me, he softly kissed me once more, "be careful" he whispered and then went back inside.

The beast showed his true colors, and they were beautiful, regardless of how douchie he still was.
