"So did you go all the way then?" Emmie asked a few days later as she and Will sat in the back room of Dale's adult store, New Vibrations, (Will had only just learnt the actual name of the place), as Dale helped out a customer.

"What constitutes 'all the way' for you exactly?" Will asked back before taking another sip of the rum and coke. Dale had invited him over to hang out earlier that day, but since Will can't drive, Emmie tagged along. It was weird for Will, to be honest, since the girls and Dale were separate parts of his life, but Dale and Emmie got along well the few times they'd met, so Will wasn't too worried.

"I would say... anal penetration?" Emmie pondered aloud.

Before Will could answer, Dale entered suddenly, shouting, "What's this about anal penetration?!"

"Will and Ry got it on on Sunday," Emmie explained as Will recovered from the shock of Dale's surprise entrance.

The redhead turned to the teen, mouth hung open and hand on heart. "So while Robbie and I sat around, sexless in fear of breaking his ribs, you and your boytoy were getting nasty?" he exclaimed in an exaggeratedly hurt tone. "You better have gotten penetrated. It would make up for all the sex Rob and I aren't having."

"No one was penetrated," Will responded, wincing at the word. They all needed to stop using the word, it was an ugly word. "We weren't entirely ready for that," he explained before adding, "Plus it's hard to manoeuvre around a leg cast, so," and shrugged.

Emmie and Dale stared at Will, glanced at each other, then turned backed to him. "Booo!" they both yelled simultaneously as Emmie gave him a thumbs down and Dale threw a drink at him.

"What?!" Will yelled back, narrowly dodging the stream of rum and coke which splattered over the stacks of DVDs behind him.

"By the time Robbie and I were together three months, we'd already fucked five beds to death!" Dale exclaimed, arms thrown up in exasperation.

"Besides being way too much information, what's your point?" Will countered, pouring himself another drink since Dale had thrown his.

"Get on it, get in it, get with it, whatever, just get it over with," Dale explained, snatching the drink from Will's hand and downing the whole thing.

"Can I get some help he-" a voice cut in from the curtained door before stopping and asking, "Will, what are you doing here?"

Fuck, Will thought. What have I done to scorn the universe so badly that it always tries to fuck with me?

"Dale invited me," Will answered. "What're you doing here, Oliver?"

"Yeah, what are you doing here?" Dale echoed. "Last time I remembered, you're not 18 yet."

"Well neither are these two and they're in here, why can't I?" the blonde pointed out, pointing to the other two underaged people in the room.

"He's sorta got a point, guys," Emmie muttered begrudgingly. She, Will and Dale all looked at each other, thinking what else to say or what they should do now.

"Stace just wanted me to pick some stuff up and I just need some help to pick it out," Oliver piped in, sensing the need to explain why he was there.

Will felt oddly jealous and he didn't know why. Was this what Oliver had been talking about at the party? He had never felt jealous over Oliver and Stacey's relationship. Never. Weirded out? Sure. Thrown off by them suddenly getting together? A tiny bit, though it was hardly a surprise. But not jealous. Maybe their talk at the party threw him off more than he thought, made him subconsciously think about Oliver and Stacey's relationship more than he ever had. Maybe because he thought of their relationship as sexless, like he liked to think about his mum and stepdad. Maybe it was the sudden reality that, yeah, Oliver and Stacey were having sex, and evidently quite a bit for them to need supplies.

"Actually, Will, could you help me out?" Oliver asked, rebuffing Dale's half-hearted offer to help and bringing Will back to earth. "If that isn't weird for you... but y'know, you did say that you didn't feel weird about my relationship so it shouldn't be weird, right?" he added, shuffling awkwardly where he stood.

Will stood, frozen. He wasn't sure what to do. He didn't want to help Oliver pick stuff out to pleasure his girlfriend with, especially with how crazy his brain's going right now. But at the same time, he didn't really have a good excuse to say no, 'cause to Oliver, he wasn't weirded out, and if he did say no, it was like as if he were indirectly saying he was weirded out. Oh man, even he was confused by what he was thinking. "I-uh-yeah, sure," he mumbled.

Emmie shot him a look that said what the hell are you doing?! as Dale looked at him as if he'd lost his mind, which he might actually have, but all he could do was shrug. Emmie and Dale watched the two boys leave the back room before looking at each other.

"Well that's not gonna go well," Dale stated, biting his lip in worry.

"No, not well at all," Emmie agreed with a sigh, gulping down her drink.

"So why are you getting stuff, is the sex too boring?" Will asked as they stood in front of the fetish wall. He winced at the video display of the guy using nipple clamps, wondering who the hell found this a turn on.

"Nah, Stacey's just been reading a lot of the Cosmo quizzes for an English essay and thought it would be a good idea to give it a try 'cause why not, y'know," Oliver shrugged, picking up the box of electric clamps before promptly putting them back when the video display guy writhed in pain as the same exact product was being demonstrated.

"So you two have done it a lot to be comfortable enough to try this stuff out then," Will prodded, half-question half-statement, trying to suss out more about how far Oliver and Stacey's relationship had gone. The confusion he'd been feeling about Oliver the last few days was taking over all other thought processes or any logical thinking.

"Well, I wouldn't say a lot, but a fair amount, I guess," Oliver admitted with a blush. "Why are you so interested?"

"We're in an adult shop, picking things out for you and your girlfriend, it's really where the conversation was gonna go," Will reasoned, moving onto, well, he wasn't entirely sure and didn't really want to know.

Oliver just nodded as the two browsed around the store in silence. "So what about you and Ryan then?" he asked a few minutes later. "Since it's where the conversation's going."

"All the time," Will lied, laughing awkwardly. Inside his head though, he was kicking himself hard. What the hell was he thinking? He probably wasn't thinking. Nope, his crazy confusion had taken over and there was nothing he could do to stop it. "Yeah, we've broken like two bed and, don't tell anyone this, I broke his leg during it too," he continued, out of his bloody mind.

The memory of the excitement he'd felt being close to Oliver at the party came back to him. A part of him wanted to make Oliver as jealous as he was feeling right now so that he'd pull him in close and Will could feel that excitement course through his veins once again.

"So you and Ryan really are in love then," Oliver stated in a tone that Will couldn't really decipher. And reality came crashing down around Will. Memories of Commodore Point, driving home, the mental whackjob at mini-golf, their first kiss, the first I love you, their whole relationship, all came back to Will in an instant. But what hit him hardest was the memory of him and Ryan, both a crying mess in Ryan's kitchen as they told each other just how much they loved each other.

That was enough to knock the craziness out of him.

"Yeah, I love him to bits," he replied honestly, because even if he'd temporarily gone crazy, his heart would always go back to Ryan. "Do you love Stacey?"

"Yeah, a part of me does but I don't know what sort of love it is. It's hard dating your best friend because the lines get all blurred and you don't know what's what, y'know. Sometimes I think its love love but then I think it's just platonic. It's just... it's just really difficult sometimes," Oliver admitted, staring deep into Will's eyes. Will felt as if he were trying to put a point across, a deeper one than he was explicitly saying, but he couldn't tell what it was.

"Hopefully, you can work it all out," Will reassured, hoping it would be some kind of help.

"Yeah, hopefully," Oliver sighed, taking his armful of choices to the counter and tapping the bell to get Dale's attention. Will watched him, he mind processing through all that had gone on in the short time he'd been with Oliver.

Hopefully I can sort all this out too...
