Things should be easier and yet they seem so much worse.

Stiles was 23 when Derek asked him why he never dated anyone. Stiles wasn't sure what to say because he obviously couldn't tell Derek that he was the only guy for him.

Derek was 25 when he asked Stiles why he never dated. Secretely, he was hoping it was because Stiles loved him as much as he loved Stiles.

After that day, things were a bit different, they both seemed to flirt with each other and they were both single even though they seemed to be popular with pretty much every guy they encoutered.

When Stiles was 26, he graduated with a very impressive University record and he refused every job that was offered to him in favor of traveling with Derek. Derek was rich thanks to his grandpa's will which gave him the Hale Company and the few million dollars of savings. Stiles was glad for the money, it meant they could travel without worrying.

When Stiles was 27, he slept with Derek. He didn't regret it he just wished it could have become more.

When Derek was 29, he slept with Stiles. He didn't regret it he just wished it could have become more.

When Stiles was 30, he settled in London and shared an appartment with Derek. By that time, they had been traveling for 4 years and had seen so much of the world. Their favorite city however was London so they had made plans for 2 years. After seeing India, they had decided to settle back down and moving to London just made sense to them. Somehow, Stiles was able to get a job as a BBC journalist and Derek managed to not only govern the company entirely from London but actually create another branch of it in London, leaving a Vice president in the Cali company.

When Stiles was 35, he and Derek were practically a married couple and yet they weren't even dating. They could communicate without even speaking and could understand the other's point of view on a subject with a simple raise of eyebrow. Derek's vice presiident in London believed they were actually together and the vice president in Cali believed they were married already by the way Derek would always be on his phone when he had to visit. Of course, they were both wrong until that one night when Stiles turned 36 and Derek kinda kissed him and told him he was in love with him and Stiles kinda responded that they should get married. When they woke up the next day, they were together in bed with a wedding band on their ring fingers. When they went to get breakfast, there was a marriage liscence on the kitchen table.

When Stiles was 36, he phoned his parents and told them the news at the same time Derek phoned his sister to announce the same thing. When Derek told his vice presidents why he was so happy, they were genuinely surprised that it hadn't happened sooner and they both received a glare for it. When Stiles was 40, he and Derek decided to adopt and ended up bringing home 2 toddlers. They were twins and the cutest thing that ever existed in the history of the world. The boy was named John and the girl Dahlia.

When Derek and Stiles were very old, somewhere around their 90s, their grandchildren all started adulthood extremely worried. Stiles and Derek were sure that they would become successful adults. Derek's will gave his grandchildren an equal share of his money and the company was given to only one of them because he was the only one interested in business. He, however, did not get any money at all. The company was most definitely enough. When they died, Derek and Stiles left a happy family. And on that day, their granddaughter Eliza was about to announce that she and her boyfriend of 5 years were pregnant. And so goes the cycle that is life.

A/N: I'm sorry you guys had to wait so long to get this. Also, I know it's a different format than the previous two parts but it's harder to fit all of adulthood in that format than it is to fit childhood and adolescence. Hope you enjoyed anyway. Vote and comment and do whatever you want.
