[[[Klaus in the image, duh]]]
Having lost his patience, Klaus slammed his palm on the top of the small TV. Much to his surprise, the gesture made it finally work. The image wasn't clear and the sound wasn't any better, but he couldn't ask for more considering its state.
He switched the channels, but only received static, the signal very poor. In the end, he was left to choose between a channel with old black and white movies and the News Channel. He decided on the latter, curious as to what world had to say on their escaping.
The hero then sat on the floor, next to the bed on which Venom was still sleeping deeply. Klaus couldn't help but think about how much the villain slept... Well, he did miss 9 years of rest, considering Clarckson occupied most of his nights...
Shaking his head in pity, the hero sat up on his knees, leaning closer to the vampire before brushing his ruffled hair away from his face. He pecked his cheek softly while his thumb caressed his jaw. When the news started, Klaus turned around to watch.
'We continue with shocking news: Venom, the villain of the town, that was recently taken to the mental hospital for the second time, managed to escape once again. What is more surprising is the fact that he was helped by Klaus, our loyal hero for 7 years now. Authorities are searching for them, but a big obstacle got in their way. Detective Josh, who was in lead of the searching, was bitten by a Black Widow Spider when controlling the villain's house. He is now in hospital under care...'
Klaus turned the TV off, wasting no time in standing up and getting dressed.
----
Walking through a hospital past many people without being recognised would prove to be a difficult task, but a hood on the head did wonders, Klaus concluded as he opened the door to Josh's room. The detective was lying in bed unfazed, eyes fixed on the ceiling above him, deep in thought.
"Hello." the hero casually said after entering the room and walking next to his bed.
Josh groaned, rubbing his face in despair. "Do you have any idea of what situation you're putting me in, Klaus? I am an arm length away from arresting you."
"Well then what's stopping you?" asked Klaus, sitting down on the edge of the detective's bed. Josh scowled deeply, eyebrows lowering above intense blue eyes as his jaw clenched.
"Why are you here." he asked.
The hero brought a hand to his mouth before biting a nail, nibbling on it as he searched for words. His eyes moved to the figure in front of him, taking in the sight he could admit only to himself to miss.
"Just, you know... To check if you're fine." he spoke softly, interrupted by Josh's scoff. "And to clarify things a bit." he continued with a sigh, to which his friend's expression smoothened into an understanding one. "Whatever there was between us, it must stop."
"Don't be all cheesy, Swartzenstein. I knew all of this would happen the moment you stood up for him when he was being taken to the Megan Hospital." Josh spoke, sitting up to approach his face to the hero's. "You go have fun with your walking corpse. But I will respect my duty, so don't think we won't meet again." he murmured, running a hand through the hero's ink coloured strands of hair.
Klaus grinned, leaning closer to him. "I do have a breakup gift, though." he murmured suggestively, grinning as Josh's eyebrows raised in interest.
Entering the apartment, Klaus saw the villain standing at the double hung windows, next to a big floor vase with long since dead flowers, whose petals lied on the ground sorrowfully. Venom's fingers were absent-mindedly scratching a block in the brick wall, the clay powder falling on the floor in a minuscule mountain.
At hearing the door open, the vampire turned around swiftly, the light from outside contouring his black, slim silhouette perfectly. Klaus blinked a few times until his eyes adjusted to the light and managed to make out Venom's colours, the white of his skin dominant in his almost naked state, the only thing he was wearing being boxers.
"Where have you been?" Venom asked, face hiding curiosity under a layer of neutral expression.
"Well, I went to visit Josh. He's in the hospital, your little spider fancied a bite of him." Klaus explained, to which Venom offered a proud grin.
"Venóm is her name." he announced, before his grin faded away quickly. "Wait, you visited him? The whole police station is out to catch us, and you went and chatted happily with a detective?" he asked, taking a few steps towards the hero, but keeping a distance.
"Well, I wouldn't say we exactly chatted..." Klaus murmured, rubbing his lower back with his knuckles to underline the point. At seeing the villain's face smoothen in cold blankness, he hurried to add. "Don't get me wrong, it was a breakup sex sort of thing. Whatever was between us is now officially broken up, that was the purpose of my visit."
Venom didn't move a muscle. He just stood there, empty eyes mocking the hero mercilessly, his body petrifying into a statue.
"Venom. If it was to mean something more, I wouldn't have told you it happened. I just wanted to put an end to the whole thing between me and him because I lov-"
"There is no need to justify yourself." the villain interrupted louder than necessary, his face cracking into a grin. "I understand. Now, be a sweetheart and go buy some clothes since we lack them."
"Venom-"
"And sheets, we made a mess on them last night. You know, the night before you went and fucked another man." he spoke bitterly, the grin not fading the tiniest bit.
"Well.. I didn't fuck him, it was the other way around if that helps-"
"Go!"
With that, the vampire pushed Klaus out of the apartment, blowing him a kiss before slamming the door close. The hero squinted suspiciously, standing there trying to process what happened, the scraped surface of the door offering him no explanation.
"I love you!" he tried, sighing helplessly.
"Me too." a muffled reply came from behind the door, slapping a smile on the hero's face, who then walked away.
The shopping took a lot more time than the hero expected. He had to drive out of the God forsaken section of the city, seeing as the shops there had clothes he would flinch imagining themselves in. He returned to the apartment with many bags in hands, struggling to open the door with his foot. After finally managing to move the doorknob, it opened, and he stepped in eagerly.
"Oh what the actual fuck!" he screamed, bags falling to the ground with loud thuds. And he had every reason to yell. Good thing he did buy new sheets...
On the blood soaked bed lied Venom, his head on the chest of what remained of a man. The unconscious male was a tank, his muscular biceps hidden under layers of tattoos. He was twice the size of the villain, his strong face once threatening. But now, it was shocked and helpless under blue white skin. The blood leaking from his neck matched the one on the vampire's lips and chin.
Venom opened his eyes, the emptiness they once offered now replaced with a victorious sparkle.
"You're home early..." he murmured monotonously, not even bothering to fake shock.
Klaus face palmed himself, breathing in deeply. "You..." he spoke through clenched teeth. "... are fucking nuts."
"I'm not fucking nuts, I'm fucking people." Venom joked maturely, grinning. "Oh, you mean I'm insane? You didn't seem to mind that when you were dragging me away from the mental hospital."
With a groan, the hero grabbed Venom's arm and tugged him away from the bed, before leaning to grab the hulk of a man by the shoulders. He slammed him on the ground before struggling to drag him to the kitchen, where he managed to place him on the table. Fighting to gain his breath, he glared at the villain who then casually sat down on a chair.
"That was uncalled for." Klaus clarified, pointing to the dead man, to which the vampire shrugged unfazed. "Really now, you fucked a corpse to prove something?"
"No, I did not." Venom replied, playing with the unconscious man's hair. "He died half way through."
Scoffing, the hero went to a drawer and picked up a butcher knife, before walking back to the table and gripping the man's shoulder. Without hesitation he shoved the knife into it, shaking it mercilessly to get past the bone. The blood escaped angrily, staining him and Venom, who didn't even blink at the happening.
"Well that's not something you see a hero doing everyday." murmured Venom, enjoying the show.
"Shut up, Venom. Just shut up." Klaus snapped, grabbing the arm and twisting it to detach it from the torso. The vibrations of the bone breaking and meat unlinking sent shivers up the hero's spine, reaching his head where they played with his sanity teasingly. "Look around for a trash back roll."
Venom obeyed, before silently watching as Klaus cut off the man's limbs. His torso was too big to fit in a bag, so the hero started cutting it in half. But before he did, his anger and rage vanished as he looked below the man's waist. Gulping, he moved his eyes from the... healthy... organ to Venom's fragile body, eyebrows raising in worry.
Looking at Venom, he just then realised the awkward position he was sitting in and the bruises on his hips and thighs.
"He... he hurt you." Klaus murmured softly, the change in his tone snapping Venom out of his thoughts.
The villain blinked confused, the expression on his lover's face giving him an unfamiliar feeling that left him processing a while for words.
"Was it worth it? Getting hurt like that just to prove a point?" asked the hero, with a bitterness aimed at the dead body on the table. Furious once again, he slammed the butcher knife in the man's stomach, starting to cut his torso in half.
Venom didn't reply. He just watched as Klaus finished the job before he rested his palms on the edge of the table, lowering his head as he sighed. The vampire took in the sight of the blood splashed hero leaning over a chopped dead body, hair hiding his face, Adam's apple rising as he spoke in a husky voice.
"I'm sorry." was what he said, before he raised his head to offer the villain an apologetic look. "I wouldn't have done that with Josh if I knew it would affect you like this."
Venom gently sat up, wincing slightly, before stepping between the hero and the table. Placing a hand on the back of Klaus's head, he lowered him to reach for his cheek, from which he then licked the blood drops in short, repetitive movements.
"Cat." murmured Klaus, embracing him in a strong hug.
"Kitten." corrected Venom monotonously before pulling back. "Now go be a good husband and take out the trash while I'll be a good wife and clean the kitchen." he joked, pointing to the dismembered body.
"That right there made us sound like a decent couple for a moment." Klaus commented, ripping a trash bag from its roll and placing the corpse's arms inside. "Go take a bath after you're done, then wear what I bought you."
Venom nodded, grabbing a cloth and starting to wipe the walls. Shaking his head, he switched the material with a steel scrubber, to which the hero chuckled. After he was done filling 5 trash bags, Klaus dragged them outside, where he bumped them into a big dumpster by the side of the building.
Crossing his arms, he shook his head disapprovingly. Looking to his right, at the end of the alley, he knew the smell would eventually reach the streets. Sighing, he positioned himself on the side of the dumpster before pushing it all the way to the back of the apartment complex.
It took a good while, seeing as his lower back still ached from his intercourse with Josh, so when he finally got back into the apartment, the kitchen was clean. Well, the table was clean, but since the walls consisted of exposed bricks, the blood stains didn't fade.
Tired and dirty, he took his clothes off, walking towards the bathroom in which he could hear water running. After entering, he quietly closed the door, before just as quietly walking to the bathtub the villain was already in.
After placing a leg in the tub, he snatched it back just as quickly. "Venom, the water is cold!" he exclaimed.
"Well, you didn't expect this place to provide hot water in its state, did you?" the villain murmured, watching as Klaus lowered himself in the tub.
"You're going to catch a cold." he murmured, leaning over his lover to peck the collarbone he admired too much.
"What about you?" Venom spoke absent-mindedly, leaning his head backwards to expose more skin for the hero to play with. Klaus happily obeyed, getting a moan out of his lover's throat in the process.
"I eat my vegetables." the hero justified, pecking his chest before going lower and lower, until he reached the water level just above Venom's solar plexus, when he looked up suggestively.
Venom, catching on his intention, shook his head dumbfounded. "No way, you're going to drown!" he spoke incredulously, to which the hero grinned.
"I'm not going to drown as long as you keep your hands at home." he promised, before his head sank in the water.
"Klaus, this is n-Ah mein Gott!"
And so, the neighbour downstairs has had enough. She was a poor, old lady, forgotten by world, left to live alone in her miserable apartment. She didn't mind it, she quite enjoyed the silence that part of the town provided. Being secluded and all that had its benefits.
That was, until the new neighbours got it. Its been only almost 2 days and she beared through a sleepless, traumatizing night of thuds and German nonsense coming from the bedroom just above her. Now, as she was cleaning her dental prosthesis in the bathroom, she could hear the familiar moans once again, this time from the bathroom above her own. Deciding she was not going to risk getting a heart attack, she just went to the living room and grabbed the phone, dialling 911.
"Yes, I would like to report noise pollution, sir." she spoke as a cop answered.
"We'll be on our way, just give us your address."
