Klaus hurried to the shaking figure in the corner and crouched down before hugging him tightly. He buried Venom's head in his shoulder as the villain chocked out sobs. Klaus then slowly caressed his hair, his chest aching in pity for the vampire. He was about to shatter from the effort he put into holding his sobs back from escaping.

"Venom, let it all out..." he whispered, slowly rocking him.

"The- the camera..." Venom cried, rising his head to peek from before the hero's shoulder. He gulped, the following gasp making him chock on his own saliva. The camera's light was blinking once again. "It... it stopped, I swear it did..." he whimpered, panting.

The hero pinned his head back in place. "It didn't, Venom. Billy Clarkson is six feet under, he will harm you no more, and the new security guard is trustworthy." he promised.

The hero was amazed by Venom's senses. His trauma must have caused him a placebo effect, which gave him the hallucination of the camera stopping just before Klaus entered. It was rather fascinating, yet disturbing.

"Sir..." a nurse spoke from the doorway, waiting for the hero to act on his words.

Seeing as two weeks have passed, the villain was supposed to attend his first therapy session, but Klaus was too impatient and stepped in the hospital first thing in the morning. The nurse agreed to let the hero see him only to take him to the therapist, then go away so Venom could take his medicines.

Klaus nodded to the nurse, then lowered his head to get in Venom's view. He gently pecked his lips repetitively and whispered. "Come on, you must get to your therapy session." he spoke softly, sneaking an arm under his knees and back before picking him up easily. The unhealthy weight of his body made him question just what they fed him. They sure wouldn't give him blood, most probably wanting to get that out of his system.

     Idiots..

He exited the room and walked down the hall, leaded by the nurse and followed by the security guards, Venom quietly trying to regain his breath. The corridor ended with a white door, matching pretty much everything in that hospital, door on which the nurse knocked. After a male voice answered a 'yes', she opened it and gestured Klaus to enter.

The hero walked in the room. It was completely different from the rest of the place. Its walls were a dark shade of beige looking nice with the wengè wooden floor, on which a big, white carpet stood. What appeared to be the therapist sat at a black desk on which red, white and brown decorations stood. The room had an overall comfortable aspect, but what got the hero's attention was the chair in front of the desk.

That did not look comfortable. It had a leather belt surrounding its backrest. They even took the time to match it to the carpet, its colour being white. The man in the chair eyed the hero questioningly.

"Place him here." one of the security guards spoke, walking to the chair. After receiving no reaction, he continued. "It's for the therapist's safety, all patients must be tied. He won't break anything." he spat the last part. Judging by the emotions Klaus reflexively sensed, he wouldn't see the guard as a marcher in a LGBT parade.

With a glare, he gently placed Venom in the chair, watching as the man brought the belt around the villain's chest. Klaus cleared his throat threateningly when he noticed the guard tying the belt too hard. Venom just gazed into space, eyes back to the emptiness Klaus despised too much. What was worse than seeing him suffer was knowing he was bottling it up.

The nurse then leaded the hero out of the room, gesturing him to take a seat on a sofa near the door. After a few steps, she hesitantly turned around, eyeing the hero as he sat there, his head in hands. "You know..." she murmured, approaching a bit. "The session might take a while..." she said softly, stepping aside to let the guards pass as they exited the therapy room.

Klaus sneaked a glance in the room before the door closed, shooting the therapist a suspicious look. As the door broke their eye contact, he turned his head to watch the nurse. "I'm a patient person, it's fine." he replied, offering a smile. The woman nodded before walking away.

As he followed her retreating figure, Klaus spotted the girl from a while ago, Megan, standing in the hallway, next to a few other patients. He sighed as she started walking towards him.

"Venom." the therapist spoke, flipping a page of the agenda on the desktop. He grabbed a mechanical pencil from a decoration and wrote something down. "I would say 'Welcome back', but considering the context..." he trailed off, offering a small smile.

     The villain didn't react.

"What made you do it, Venom? I mean, the first time you came here it was for having killed people. Now it's for having tried to kill yourself. What happened?" he asked calmly, light blue eyes silently consoling Venom.

     The vampire shrugged.

"I took a look at the recordings of these past two weeks you've been here... The footage is unnerving, I must say. It's like one of those jumpscare videos. Except of the times you were being taken to the bathroom and given medicine, you were just... standing there, about to snap at any moment. Only you didn't. Now... Was that about Clarkson? Did the camera bring back memories?"

     Venom gulped.

He then watched as the therapist wrote something down. "Well, then.. Let's talk about what happened after your release. Did you feel the urge to kill and drink blood?"

"What does that have to do with my 'suicide attempt', Daniel? Speaking of which, why am I even here? If I were to want to kill myself, I would do it hidden and silent so no one could find and rescue me. You think I'd jump off a gallery's roof in the middle of an exposition with the purpose of dying?"

"Venom, it's not about that. Your brain had been scanned, you're medically proved to be mentally ill." Daniel, the therapist, explained. After a while of letting that sink in, he continued. "Let's talk about you and Klaus."

Venom raised his foot on the edge of the desk before slowly pushing himself backwards. He then balanced on the back legs of the chair, watching the therapist thoughtfully. "What about us?"

"Well... sorry for being so direct about this, but we can all recall what happened between you and the last hero you put your hands on..."

At hearing that, Venom's leg twitched violently, and his arms and back being tied, his balance didn't stand a chance. He fell to the ground with a grunt, then waited patiently for the therapist to approach him. Daniel lifted him up, checking behind his head to make sure he wasn't injured. The carpet proved to be a good idea after all.

Venom watched as he hurried back behind the desk and wrote another thing down. The villain then blew some hair away from his eyes, squinting at the therapist as he walked around the desk and stopped in front of him.

"Look, we're getting nowhere, Venom. You must open up a bit. The last time you've been here, we managed to make a connection. Don't let a few months ruin that... you can trust me."

Venom scoffed. "Really. So you want me to trust you, when the only way you'd stay in a room with me is for me to be tied to a chair and immobilized by a straitjacket. How am I supposed to fully trust you when you don't trust me?"

Daniel's eyes widened as he took in the idea. "It's... it's not my choice, the hospital imposed this policy." he spoke, gesturing to the belt.

"Well they did it for your safety. If you were to trust me, you'd feel safe around me just fine, which would mean you wouldn't hesitate in untying this belt and the sleeves."

     Daniel squinted.

"I'm not implying anything, Daniel. I was just throwing that out there so you don't get the idea you'll manage to make me speak." Venom murmured, darting his eyes away just to prove his point.

Daniel watched him quizzically as he rubbed his jaw. With a sigh, he leaned to untie the belt, and Venom turned his head to touch Daniel's nose with his. The therapist moved his hands around the villain's torso to reach behind him and leaned further so he could get a view on the belt tying his sleeves back. He unbuckled it slowly and straightened up before stepping back.

Venom gently moved his arms forwards, flinching as his elbows popped. He stretched them before rolling the sleeves up to see his fingers, which he then clenched and unclenched. After standing up, he stepped towards the therapist and hugged him tightly, sighing as he felt him hug back.

"You'd think therapists were the ones manipulating patients..." he murmured, grinning as he tilted Daniel's head to the side.

     Daniel froze. "Venom, don't-"

-----

"And he would always let me peck him... not once did he push me away or yell at me or... react... He just stood there like a statue while I talked by myself, while I hugged him, pecked him, screamed at him... he just straight up ignored me. And somehow, it was way worse than pushing me away." Megan spoke softly. "Venom can sure get under peoples' skin."

Klaus nodded, eyes set on the floor. He has been talking with the girl for a while now, waiting for the villain to finish his therapy session. He didn't expect it to end too soon, seeing as only about 30 minutes passed, so when the door slammed open, he was more than surprised.

He didn't have time to question it, though, because a hand grabbed his, roughly pulling him off the sofa and down the corridor. He stumbled a bit before finding his pace, and he gasped as he realised Venom was the one leading him. One sleeve of the straitjacket was aimlessly dangling behind him, reaching lower than his knees, and his other one was rolled up his arm so he could grip the hero's hand.

Klaus randomly laughed at the sight, before fastening his steps and taking the lead, dragging Venom behind him. The other patients got out of the way quickly, some of them urging them to keep going as they noticed security guards following them.

They slammed the doors of the hospital open before jumping down the steps and running towards the yard's gate. It was locked, of course, but that didn't stop them from climbing it. The long sleeves were bugging Venom, slowing him down, so the hero just pushed him over the gate impatiently before jumping after him. The villain barely had time to land before the hero picked him up and dragged him away towards his Volkswagen Passat car.

They got in and Klaus drove off quickly, the tires screeching loudly on the concrete, the security guards' cars following them from a distance. Exiting the parking lot, he drove on a road leading out the town. He aimlessly slalomed between passing cars, his hands impulsively moving the steering wheel. He then looked in the side view mirror, finally not spotting the guards' cars.

He then aggressively spun the steering wheel to the left, getting off the road and into the woods, where he managed to avoid trees as he drove further. At one point, he stopped the car, his ears slowly adjusting to the sudden silence. He listened carefully for any engine sound, grinning as his only response was the wind.

"We lost them." he spoke, turning his head towards the villain, who was looking out the windshield in amazement. "Why the fuck did I just do that..." he murmured, realisation finally kicking in.

The hero of the Sunday Town helped the villain of the Sunday Town escape the mental hospital. He basically lost his job, his town, his friends, his freedom, in order to receive...

...that.. he thought, watching Venom as he sat there, grinning widely, eyes shinning in honest happiness watching him back.

Venom then jumped off his seat and onto Klaus, kissing him hungrily, hands roaming up his torso. The hero pulled back, grabbing his upper arms and standing up from his seat. He then moved to the back of the car, pushing the villain against the backseat and turning him around, bringing the sleeves of the straitjacket at his back and tying them.

"I just lost everything for you, Venom dearest." he spoke, pulling his pants off to reveal pale, slender legs, on which fading bruises could still be spotted. "What do you have to say about that?"

Venom didn't respond in words, he just raised his hips high, peeking from behind his shoulder at the hero, batting his eyelashes innocently.

     "Very well, then..."

And so, the car started rocking.

Heuheuheuheu... that was a nice way to end the chapter, I very much believe so myself XD also, note that Volkswagen cars have strong suspensions. ifyouknowwhatimean.

So yaes. I hope you liked this chapter. Sorry if it was too sudden, as in... bang, lets run off into the sunset :)) but I mean it just happened, don't blame me, Venom is as unpredictable to me as he is to you. I could take the time to explain that statement but I hate knowing how long my author notes get ._. so yaes.

Please comment :o after realising I got so many comments on the last chapter, I went ahead and wrote this drowning in determination :D so if you could make that happen again, the next chapter might be just around the corner! Might-maybe-possibly-parhaps-yaes-certainly-ornot-idk.

Signature: $%&$%#@.

No, just kidding, I don't have any signature. But since I'm The Sneezing Turtle I might as well just sneeze in your face so...
